Decay
Really dunno why they're so secret about Denpa. It is almost entirely because of Frontwing.
kyrt
okay someone wanna give me a brief list of all the new announcements so I can update the main page? I got 3 + unrated Grisaia I think I'm missing something.
Decay
Koestl tweeted that indeed he wasn't involved in Chiru Chiru's translation so expect it to get eviscerated on 4chan and elsewhere regardless of its quality. And it explains why it's already coming out. They probably decided to go with that guy who posted about his project here after all. Koestl seems slightly salty. kyrt
It is almost entirely because of Frontwing. They just announced the unrated version as coming for Grisaia...I don't think Denpasoft is being hidden specifically because of that. They just want to keep them separate I think since legal issues exist when handling distribution of porn.

Decay
okay someone wanna give me a brief list of all the new announcements so I can update the main page? I got 3 + unrated Grisaia I think I'm missing something. My internet went down halfway through so I'm shaky on all the details. Sekai Project's twitter is probably a good summary: https://twitter.com/sekaiproject/with_replies They just announced the unrated version as coming for Grisaia...I don't think Denpasoft is being hidden specifically because of that. They just want to keep them separate I think since legal issues exist when handling distribution of porn. I can't pretend to know all the nuance behind their actions, but Frontwing did demand the initial separation between the companies when handling the different releases. They wanted Grisaia to be taken seriously and not be released by a company with the stigma of porn behind them. There could be other partners who want that division to exist, too. Unfortunately I doubt they'll be doing any other Yuzusoft game after Tenshin Ranman. Why?
Satsuki
Unfortunately I doubt they'll be doing any other Yuzusoft game after Tenshin Ranman. If the sales are good, then I don't see why not. Customer demand man~
Chuee
Yuzusoft doesn't have any other games with a PSP all-ages version and I doubt they need the money bad enough to make versions specifically for them to localize (Yuzusoft's more recent games are heavy on ero so that would be a pain in the ass). Down
All the Yuzusoft games look pretty much the same, they'll probably find a way to release more if that one works well. The rest looks like completely unknown doujin stuff as usual. The ChiruChiru thing looks kinda hilarious too, lol.
Satsuki
That sounds like the weirdest reason ever...
Decay
It's not about whether they need the money or not, it's whether they figure the extra money is worth making censored versions for. Tenshin Ranman may be a test case for them since the work is already done.

Decay
~Drama in the Chiruverse~ So I said Koestl seemed salty, I loaded up Herkz' twitter and he's especially salty. He basically announced that they will be releasing an unauthorized translation of Chiru Chiru after the main trilogy is finished, and warned people that they shouldn't read Chiru Chiru before then because it makes references to the other two games. Herkz being the editor who is working on the main trilogy for SP. I'm sure they're happy about that.
Chuee
I mean yeah, but imagine all the work that would be required to make an all-ages version of say Dracu-riot. You'd need to remove all the scenes, the scenes leading up and after, then all the after stories as well. Considering we haven't had basically any Japanese company do something like that before (G-senjou technically had an all-ages version with the English patch), I can't see Yuzusoft being the first. Tatanka82
I wonder if this Yuzusoft partnership will have an impact for the fantranslation of Noble Works...(I hope not!!!!!)
Maxel
Grisaia isn't first, cause they're porting it... Also: http://scr.hu/79lw/5kzef What about the chances of MG snatching Yuzu away if SP won't be interested in other titles?

Decay
Pretty much. Maybe they'd have to slightly alter some portions of some scenes but it's probably not expensive to produce all-ages versions. If TR does well, I can see Yuzusoft wanting more steam bucks, and spending a week or two for each of their other games on producing all-ages versions would probably be worth it for them. Hackrabbits
They have naked sprites. Aren't there a lot of western games with explicitly naked characters on STEAM? I thought it would be okay if it's nothing sexually-related. Or is showing genitals not allowed?
