I read Kosugi's "route" in Majikoi S solely to see how bad it was.  It's pretty much just a set-up for her h-scenes, with both Yamato and Kosugi saying "premium" about 50 times.  Have to admit, it was rather clever how Minatosoft had her route get unlocked.

To get the set-up, you go to the tutorial with Iyo and Kosugi 10 times, and to get her h-scenes you go through it 10 more times.

That's all the praise I'm going to give it, though.  There was literally no plot at all.  I didn't expect it to be of premium quality in the first place :sachi:

Okay. So I finished Episode 3 and 4 in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

God. I did not expect Hammer to actually be the one who intended to murder someone. On the course of the trials, I asked myself what the heck Dee Vasquez's motive could possibly be. Of course, since playing visual novels required a little guessing and trial and error in some cases, I chose the first one: to present evidence. That gave me a penalization again. Anyway, was really surprised when I chose 'she had no motive' and it turned out to be the correct choice. I really did not expect that. I wonder what happened to her though? It was self-defense... I guess she still got into jail?

Episode 4 was godly. I have no regrets. Definitely the best case so far out of all that I've read. Edgeworth had a great backstory. I screwed up at Lotta's trial, since I couldn't seem to see a contradiction. Good thing there are save states! Anyway, Yanni Yogi really was unexpected. When it was mentioned that Yogi had seemed to have brain damage due to oxygen deprivation, I instantly pointed my finger to that 'Wet Noodle' shop owner. I kinda feel sorry for him, since he took revenge on the wrong guys, and went to jail for it. It was awesome how the current case resurrected a case 15 years ago, the DL-6 incident. Who would've thought that Manfred von Karma was actually the killer? I wouldn't. But god, that trial was really good. He kept bluffing things, like conspiracy theories, and then it always hit the mark. Game script at its finest. Good thing I took the metal detector instead of the fishing rod. Screw you, Gumshoe, trying to give me a dog and a fishing rod. It was really good.

Overall, I can say that I'm really liking what I'm reading, and may as well proceed directly to the second game after the fifth case. I don't skip stuff. My favorite character, for now, has to be Maya. I don't know why. She's just so fun. I felt a little sad when she was about to board the train though. I understand that that scene was supposed to be the ending scene for the first game. Thanks for adding another one, NDS version. Looking forward to playing the last case.

I'm about to finish the game and I'm still nowhere with Forest. Agh.

Every time I read premium, I think of ice cream. Her scenes were the only one I read in the whole game. Probably because they're quite easy to get, and I wanted a scene. I was promised premium quality.

...All I get is ice cream.

I finished Swan Song. I really didn't like the good ending. It felt rushed and kind of cheap, like it was just summarizing most of the events taking place without going into details, with very few character interactions. "And suddenly everything got better and everyone lived happily ever after, the end."  Which is unfortunate because the normal ending is so eventful and interesting, even though I prefer good ends to depressing ones. To give a quick example:

Regarding Taeko's integration into the school community, they just mention almost in passing in a couple paragraphs about how she faced a good deal of hate from the rest of the community but managed to persevere and things got better. We didn't get to actually see that happen or witness her struggles. Just a two paragraph summary and some fluffy dialog about her cooking abilities is all we got.

And while I'm here in this spoiler tag, let me just vent at how they didn't explain the nature of the disaster. Some people knew what was going to happen and when, and the subsequent weather was highly unnatural. But beyond that, we got zero explanation whatsoever? Not even any further hints? What kind of crap is that?

Attempting to get all the endings in Toradora portable, it has been a pretty boring read overall. I was never a big Toradora fan in the first place, but many of these routes feel kinda cheap, which may just be the standard for anime vn "adaptions" since I feel the same for oreimo portable. Still havn't gotten to any of the "true" routes or Ami's endings (my personal favorite character from the show), so maybe things will pick up.

Just started Ace Attorney Investigations 2, my God do I love the "Logic" chess. I hope it replaces the copy-pasted witness interrogation system that the first Investigations stole from Phoenix Wright.

I started my adventure to the world of untranslated VNs. I went with Totono because of all talk I heard about it, but also because I had some previous interest in it, since it's a nitroplus game.

The first two hours were super slow, but after I got used to reading and using the text hooker, it became much more enjoyable. It's still clumsy and sometimes there are sentences I can't understand at all, but I can see the charm. I'm also really bad at memorizing stuff consciously, so forcing myself to read and memorizing kanjis in context helps a lot in my studies.

Good, lots of people will be happy if you read Totono. I still haven't played it myself even with all the pressure I got from other guys

So I finished Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

The last episode was so long. It took me the whole day to finish. I was playing from 2:00PM to 1:00AM. It took me that long.

The last episode was, for me, the hardest so far. I totally got screwed over by the trial where Angel Starr was the witness. Yeah, I got screwed over by the first trial. I was really surprised by how things were going. Who knew that, in the end, Gant would be the killer of both Bruce Goodman and Neil Marshall? It was really nice, all the twists. The scenario kept on being rewritten as evidence piled up. It was also the first time that evidence reached the third page, iirc. My god. It was really great. I also did not expect that I actually needed to let go of Gant the first time I was asked for conclusive evidence. I was also thoroughly convinced that Ema was Neil's killer, due to that cloth with her fingerprint. I was fooled. Fooled, I tell you. It was that exciting. I really enjoyed the ride. Time to play the second one!

Also, Blue Badger ftw. Never expected that guy to be based on a jar.

Edgeworth and Wright teaming up to show the truth was awesome.

Ok I loathe myself for not reading grisaia no kajitsu sooner thinking that if the people say that the common route is long, then I probably should refrain from reading it. The common route isn't that long.... well it didn't feel for me to be that long. I am stuck thou, I am interested in all the heroines but I dunno who I shoukd go for >.<

All of them are just adorable :wafuu:

Amane for porn

Sachi for feels

Yumiko for a general love story (my favorite overall of the three, oddly enough)

did not read the other two yet

Well I heard that michiru's route is full of comedy so I might go for it. I wouldn't really want to read the acclaimed best route first (amane's). As for yumiko's route, I don't know, wanna save her for later and I am not in the mood to get hit by dem feels so I guess makina or michiru. Since I am quite more interested in michiru's route and her backstory than in makina's backstory. I will probably read michiru's route.

Ya that was my play order

Also based on the common view that Yumiko+Michiru are the losers while Makina+Amane are the winners when it comes to enjoyment of the routes

I personally thought Yumiko+Michiru weren't THAT bad and Makina+Amane weren't THAT good, but yeah,

Sachi > all

Can I give you a hint?

You should think about how to prevent her attacks entirely. For more detail...

Shining Smile. Spam it from start to finish. You will drain green every turn by doing so, causing Nayuta to fumble almost all of her attacks. You will take hardly any damage, can slowly whittle her down no matter what level you are, and will easily have the approval rating by the end. You might want to grind a little for what's to come after that, though.
