Loved it, so I naturally moved onto Sharin no Kuni since it was another Akabei Soft game. It starts off a little slow, but it does pick up and I actually ended up liking it better overall than G-senjou. So I would recommend giving it another shot. 'forward'. The situation isn't a perfect mirror, but his disregard for conventions and common sense in the pursuit of his desires is pretty close to it, as well as his refusal to speak politely to well... anyone.
