What's the purpose of adding people as friends in Fuwa?

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. And this is wrong, women don't participate on those stuff, so you can't participate, astro-nee-sama.

Starless...I think it's time you know what circlejerk usually means on the internet.  See, when two or more people have the same opinion...

From Urban Dictionary: "When a bunch of blowhards - usually politicians - get together for a debate but usually end up agreeing with each other's viewpoints to the point of redundancy, stroking each other's egos as if they were extensions of their genitals (ergo, the masturbatory insinuation). Basically, it's what happens when the choir preaches to itself."

Unless it's porn, that's what they're talking about.

O_O Sure this is not wikipedia's definition. I was wondering why would anyone here want that.

It seems the thread derailed... Oh well, I'm still going to answer the op's question.

I see it as a means of communicating that you are aware of the other person's existence on the forums, and find their content (i.e. posts, blogs, projects) interesting. That said, there are plenty of other ways of communicating acknowledgement and appreciation of somebody's online presence (like engaging in a pm discussion, or replying to the persons posts). But adding them as a "friend" is just another way of doing that. Personally I don't add people often because I'm rather shy (even online, lol).

Oh yeah. I forgot to share my opinion about adding friends.

I dunno. I just think it's a system that makes a person aware whether they're being acknowledged by another person as a somewhat good acquaintance. It makes you feel good in the inside whenever someone adds you up. :mare: It's nice, for me that is.

Also, you get those status features when you add someone, so you can basically track them and live your dream life as a yandere schoolgirl! What better alternative can you ask for?

Can work in the opposite as well, for when someone deletes you :vinty:

A certain someone deleted everyone on their Friend's list except a select few Love Live people and apparently since I don't play Love LIve much nowadays I got ganked too :holo:

It is pretty stupid how your account is defaulted to auto-accepting every single friend invite you receive. I just realized that now, and half the "friends" on my so-called Friend's List are people I don't even recognize
