Guest Posted September 6, 2015 Share Posted September 6, 2015 Here i go 1) Hyouka 2) Sakurasou no pet na kanojo 3) Suisei no gargantia 4) Chuunibyou demo koi ga shita! 5) K-on 6) Sword Art Online (only the first part though, cause second part is ... useless and feels like fan service.) 7) Angel beats Modaka magic 9) Black rock shooter beyond) Slice of life, school days, romance stuff ... hum ! Yeah that's it, i've seen many more but i don't usually watch anime adapted from manga or VN cause i like to play the originals, same goes for the light novel but they are quite well adapted into animtion so it's the exeption i don't mind. 1.5 year update, refined my tastes, seen more and un-otaku-ed. Still think all those on my previous list are pretty cool. But some dropped off the top 10. In no particular order. Toradora! Especially the second half which hit me right in the heart. Sword art online - First arc only I still think it's one of the best shonen animes, very well balanced between action and romance. All characters are nice and the plot is pretty cool. Mondaiji tachi The single best shonen anime. I absolutely prefer overpowered characters over the whiny ones. Tetsuwan birdy Great story, great characters, great character devellopement, great production quality, great everything. Puella Magi Madoka Magica Just get past episode 3, and be surprised. FullMetal alchemist (2003) I'm emotionnally attached to this one. It was the first anime I saw, and the story is so much cooler than the manga's. Bakemonogatari Insane production value, Great play on the envirronement and atmosphere. Baccano! I like the setting, the characters are awesome, it gets violent without modesty and the fabrication was very original and well made. Ghost in the shell (First Movie) Top notch production value, OST and atmosphere. There's nothing to dislike, but it's not for everybody. Wolf Children I cried and then I calmly thought. But some dropped off the top 10. In no particular order. My tastes have probably changed since I watched most of the anime in my top 20, but I just leave them there. I don't rank anime based on my current tastes, but on how much I enjoyed them at the time that I watched them. Doesn't really matter that much; it's just the way I value things. The only difference between my current top 20 and the one I posted a year ago is that Gatchaman Crowds has been added at rank 11, and AKB has been pushed off the list (rip). My top 10 is completely unaltered though. Sometimes I get the feeling that my top 10 will be permanent. My top 5 was changed only 2 years ago, though, so I could be wrong. Also thinking about removing multiple seasons of the same series and only including whichever I thought was the best (like Bakuman 3 and Gintama'). XReaper Posted September 6, 2015 Share Posted September 6, 2015 anime i enjoyed pretty much for having a good (non illogical) plot, a likeable/interesting cast & whose visual beautedness affected me eyes in a very positive way, excluding obvious teaser anime ala deadman wonderland/btoom/etc & those in dire need of a sequel that´s unlikely to happen for various reasons: - Seikai no Monshou- Zetsuen no Tempest - Tasogare Otome x Amnesia - Hagane no Renkinjutsushi Brotherhood - City Hunter Series- Shin Sekai Yori - Sakamichi no Apollon - Bounen no Xamdou - Code Geass - Saint Seiya from those who haven´t had any sequel yet (or ever), but whose story is beeing continued in LightNovels for a long time, i´d name for example: - Legend Of the Legendary Heroes (Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu)- Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai - Kyōkaisen-jō no Horaizon top-5 you´re ought to avoid by all means, excluding garbage like Maken Ki 2, Triage X, where the writers syphillis disease been kept a secret from the rest of the staff - almost leading to an otherworldly creation of literary whatthefuckness such as Tsukihime´s Abomination Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
