Hello. My name's Kyoki Chiho, and I'm an experienced creative writer very familiar with Ren'Py coding. I've worked on several projects before and developed my own visual novels. You can visit my portfolio here: https://kyokichiho.github.io/ Crafting complex plots with heavy character development isn't a problem for me. I can write comedy scenes along with virtually any topic/theme, including NSFW. I can write detailed smut scenes, any pairing is good, and I don't have qualms when it comes to fetishes. My rate would be 7 cents per word, but I am open to negotiating it. This rate includes proofreading and editing. Also, I can make as many changes as required. Attached to this post, you'll find three erotic scenes and a regular scene that'll serve as a sample. You can find these scenes in my portfolio as well. *ahem* Do you like to write? Do you want to contribute to the VN community? If so, being a writer for Fuwanovel's blog might be right up your alley. The blog has been in a sad state of neglect for quite a while; I am currently the only author writing articles with any regularity. With your help, we can change that. I am looking to take on new writers, and I'll be damned if we can't make this baby grow into something beautiful. First of all, I want to make our news coverage much better. I'm just one (moderately lazy) man, and catching everything just hasn't worked out. With that said, I'm also very interested in interviews, opinion pieces, analysis and anything else VN-related that would interest our readers. I'm all for inclusivity (blame me being Swedish), so I'm looking for pieces touching on not just the more mainstream titles, but also for otome, girl's love, boy's love, and original English language visual novels of all kinds. I make two exceptions: one, reviews - that department's headed by solidbatman. You're more than welcome to send him a PM if you're interested. Two, VNs that are pure porn (nukige). I don't have anything against them personally, but they're really not helping the current Western stigma of "dating sims" all being straight-up porn games. With that said, this mostly applies to news coverage; analysis/opinion on the subject could still go through depending on the concept. If you're interesting in joining my team, send me a PM with an example of your writing and what you'd like to write about for the blog. I'll accept articles you've previously written, but the ideal would be something that could go up on the blog straightaway. If your writing checks out, you'll be put through a probationary period where you have to write one article every two weeks; if you keep it up, you will become fully part of the writing team. As editor-in-chief, I'll be working with you on what pieces to write. I'll also be editing your articles for flow, grammar and so on. I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello, everyone! It's nice to meet you! I'm a little new to these types of forums, so I'd like to share with you how I got into visual novels and a little about myself. I apologize if it's a little long. ^^' So, It began when my siblings had introduced me to a genre called 'anime'. I didn't know what it was at the time (I didn't even know how to pronounce it correctly). So after watching a few shows, I found it really interesting. Then I realized that all of the shows I used to watch as a kid like Dragon Ball, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon, were all anime. A few months later, I came across Angel Beats! I was so moved by the story that it made me see the world in a whole new perspective. Soon after (because of my introduction to anime), I discovered the wonders of visual novels. The first one I came across was Katawa Shoujo. And of course, I thought it was amazing. I later learned that a group of amateurs had developed the game, and it got me thinking, "I want to inspire others like these stories had inspired me; to learn the lessons I've learned from them; and make a positive impact on others lives." So I began writing. Somehow, I got it stuck in my head that I could create a visual novel all on my own – from the art, to the music, the writing, and the programming. After a few 'meh' sketches, a couple of original piano tracks, and days of attempting to understand coding, I realized that it was too big of a task for me at that moment. Somehow by chance, I came across Fallen Snow Studios. They were looking for a writer for a visual novel they were creating called Lucid9, and I jumped at the chance. And now here I am, a writer for an amature visual novel. A lot has happened that lead me to where I am, but if I wrote it all here, might as well do an autobiography. ^^' I hope you all can welcome me here, and I look forward to meeting everyone. ~ David
