  1. Usada Pekora (兎田ぺこら) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its third generation of VTubers under the name of "hololive Fantasy" (ホロライブファンタジー) alongside Uruha Rushia, Shiranui Flare, Shirogane Noel, and Houshou Marine. Pekora hails from the nation of Pekoland, where she claims she is a member of royalty. While not much is currently known about Pekoland, it is assumed that its denizens are, like Pekora, humans with rabbit-ears and comparatively long lifespans, and that the rabbit-motif apparent in Pekora's fashion and accessories is significant to their culture. According to Pekora, "peko" is the only word in the Pekolandish language. In-line with her claims of a royal upbringing, Pekora's personality can be described as outwardly bratty, haughty, immature and surly, but genuinely playful and friendly. Pekora is infamous for mischief, to the point where other hololive members will instantly become suspicious of any project if they learn that Pekora was involved. While her intended victim is usually Sakura Miko, no one is exempt from her trolling, not even herself. Pekora's fans appropriately display this same kind of attitude and are known to ruthlessly tease her through the chat when the opportunity arises. In spite of everything, Pekora still wants to be recognized as a real idol, but fans mostly think of her as a "comedian" and "crazy rabbit". Pekora has a distinctive laugh (frequently represented in text as "AH↓ HA↑ HA↑ HA↑") somewhat resembling that of an older female aristocrat, and frequently interjects her sentences with the "-peko" suffix, though she has been known to forget this occasionally. She asserts her dominance by shouting "PE↗ KO↘ PE↗ KO↘ PE↗ KO↘". She currently have 808 000 subscribers + she is a memelord
  2. Akai Haato (赤井はあと) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its first generation of VTubers alongside Yozora Mel, Aki Rosenthal, Natsuiro Matsuri, and Shirakami Fubuki. Haato appears to be a classic tsundere who teases her fans by calling them kimo ota (creepy otaku), among other things. However, she does nothing to discourage creepy behaviors, and frequently does weird, creepy things herself; for example, using cropped NSFW fanart for video thumbnails, sniffing her own feet, and decorating her home in Animal Crossing: New Horizons with lewd drawings of herself and Tsunomaki Watame. Though Haato compares her fans to pigs, she seems perfectly content to (metaphorically) splash in the mud right next to them. Her sense of humor is extremely deranged even by hololive's standards. She often publishes short, random clips that make little sense even to Japanese listeners, and has a series of cooking videos in which she commits atrocities such as boiling beef in a mixture of Mentos and cola, or melting marshmallows over sliced ham. When playing video games, Haato has considerably more confidence than actual skill, which usually ends up biting her in the back. She is infamous for her ear-splitting scream, and often releases these screams even when not playing horror games. Fans refer to these brutal screams as "Haato's blessings." She used to greet her viewers with "Oha-rouge", but now prefers to use "Haachama-chama". She currently have 644 000 subscribers
  3. Amano Pikamee is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber under VOMS Project. Pikamee is very energetic and often laughing at the smallest things. Despite this, she is very reserved and shy in real life. She frequently jokes about having "no friends," although she also occasionally recounts stories involving her friends, she even invited Agomy (her only otaku friend) to the stream on June 16 2020. She is known to use Japanese phrases like "sousousou" and "dakara," even when speaking English. Her usual greeting is "Ohao!" and her sendoff is "Otsupika!" (a combination of "otsukare," meaning "thanks for coming," and "Pikamee"). YouTube | VTuber Wiki
  4. Kiryu Coco (桐生ココ) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its fourth generation of VTubers alongside Tsunomaki Watame, Tokoyami Towa, Amane Kanata and Himemori Luna. Coco is an outspoken, irreverent individual who often employs crude humor, speech (using "ass" instead of "butt" or "shit" instead of "crap") and swearing, but she isn't as outright lewd as some members like Matsuri. She also enjoys teasing other members and most segments of her morning news show consists of teasing other hololive members over technical difficulties of failings on stream. She often pushes the boundaries of what Vtubers can do on YouTube by using thumbnails of her flipping the bird or her questionable content. Despite that, Coco is probably one of the biggest hearted members of hololive. During a live stream of The Raft with Aqua, Aqua shared her feelings about how difficult the life of a virtual Idol could be and Coco gave some truly kind words of encouragement that nearly brought Aqua to tears. She's also playful and fun-loving. She started the hololive "ARK Addiction" because she wanted them all to play the game together (going as far as to buy Roboco her copy of ARK: Aberration when she discovered that she'd purchased ARK: Extinction instead) and usually comes to the aid of the other players when the experience technical problems. This is further showed by the fact that, unlike the Nijisanji ARK server, which is PvP, Coco's is PvE. She proposed the construction of a 'hololive house' for all the hololive streamers to live together and help take care of each other. Coco loves the Yakuza video game series and streams it often. Her love for Yakuza goes as far that she is called "Kaichou/ 会長" (chairman), which is a title associated with the yakuza and shared by her favorite character, Kazuma Kiryu. She currently have 744 000 subscribers
  5. Natsuiro Matsuri (夏色まつり) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its first generation of VTubers alongside Yozora Mel, Aki Rosenthal, Shirakami Fubuki, and Akai Haato. Matsuri is an energetic, expressive, and chaotic individual who seems to enjoy doing outrageous (and usually lewd) things simply because she can. Some examples include pressuring Minato Aqua into sleeping next to her in a Minecraft stream, posting a suggestive video on Shirakami Fubuki's Twitter of her moaning Fubuki's name, screaming at Hoshikawa Sara to let her drink her pee, and groping other members off-camera (including Hoshimachi Suisei, Shirogane Noel, and Murasaki Shion, among others). However, underneath her naughty and tomboyish exterior, Matsuri is actually a sensitive, emotionally intelligent young girl who can speak frankly and maturely about a variety of topics. She will sometimes host audio only streams right before she goes to sleep or while in the bath and simply talk to her viewers about her life and her inner thoughts. She currently have 608 000 subscribers
  6. Uruha Rushia (潤羽るしあ) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its third generation of VTubers under the name of "hololive Fantasy" (ホロライブファンタジー) alongside Usada Pekora, Shiranui Flare, Shirogane Noel, and Houshou Marine. Rushia is a soft-spoken, somewhat naive girl who panics easily. While she is usually innocent and kind, she can occasionally become enraged and scream in an uncharacteristically beast-like manner before regaining her composure (for example, while playing Dark Souls or Mario Kart). She is infamous for her extremely poor anger management skills; in addition to screaming, she will often violently smash her fist against her desk. This behavior was previously regarded as breaking character, but it is now mostly considered part of her character. Rushia is sensitive about her breast size, and both fans and other hololive members often tease her for it, to the point that she will flinch whenever she hears someone say "wall" (壁) or "cutting board" (まな板). She also has a humorous "yandere" persona that occasionally surfaces when people start talking too much about other VTubers instead of her. She greets her viewers with Konrushi 「こんるし」 and ends with Otsurushia 「おつるしあ」. She currently have 611 000 subscribers
  7. Tsunomaki Watame (角巻わため) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its fourth generation of VTubers alongside Tokoyami Towa, Kiryu Coco, Amane Kanata and Himemori Luna. Watame speaks in a pleasant tone befitting her image of a soft fluffy sheep. Her voice has been noted by fans to be especially soft, mature and womanly. However, in direct contrast to this image, Watame often amuses herself by making crazed facial expressions. Her wide-eyed, psychotic smile has become iconic on her channel, even appearing on some of her official merchandise (a double-sided pillow cover). She also bobs and weaves her head and body around, which has become one of her signature gestures that she does especially when singing. She seems to be okay with her fellow hololive members eating her during collaboration streams, as she reassured her fans that even if she was eaten she would respawn after an 8-second timer. She currently have 511 000 subscribers
  8. Omaru Polka (尾丸ポルカ) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its fifth generation of VTubers alongside Yukihana Lamy, Momosuzu Nene, Shishiro Botan and Mano Aloe. True to her nature as a circus performer, she is very energetic. Polka is a fennec fox girl, and according to her, her grandfather was a fennec fox too.[7][8] She likes garlic, and hates gravity and humidity. Her favorite anime and manga include: Aikatsu, Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Re:Zero, Blue Period and HUNTERxHUNTER. She is not very good at video games, but likes free-short games, TRPGs, and horror games. She also wants to try playing retro games. She often complained about her outdated desktop, which leads to western fans calling her desktop a “Poltato PC” (portmanteau for Polka & Potato). She later bought a more powerful PC, which she referred to as her "Beef PC". She currently have 317 000 subscribers
  9. Shishiro Botan (獅白ぼたん) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its fifth generation of VTubers alongside Yukihana Lamy, Momosuzu Nene, Mano Aloe, and Omaru Polka. Botan is a white lion girl. Her favorite manga includes Parasyte, Naniwa Kin'yūdō, and Naruto. She likes building PCs as a hobby and assembled the PC she uses for streams. She cannot drink alcohol for health reasons, and unlike Yukihana Lamy, Botan can't eat spicy food. Botan likes videogames of a lot of genres, especially FPS. In particular, her preference lies with modern military-themed shooters like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Rainbow 6: Siege. She is supposedly not very good at fighting games and racing games. She has some video editing skills, as demonstrated by the introduction in her debut stream, which was made by herself. She is the fifteen hololive member to join the official Hololive Subreddit as a moderator She currently have 378 000 subscribers
  10. Momosuzu Nene (桃鈴ねね) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its fifth generation of VTubers alongside Yukihana Lamy, Shishiro Botan, Mano Aloe and Omaru Polka. A day before Nene's debut stream, Yukihana Lamy's stream took place, in which she was introducing her upcoming colleagues, including Nene. During the introduction, she accidentally typed Nene's second name in reverse (鈴桃), resulting in "Suzumomo". Even before Nene's first stream, fans already started calling her Suzumomo. Nene’s favorite food is Gyoza (Japanese pot stickers) Nene likes theme parks and she wants to open a hololive theme park and include Omaru Polka's circus in it. Her favorite anime include: Gin Tama, Bleach, The IdolM@ster Cinderella Girls and Baka and Test. She wants to become an idol and that one of her songs is used as an anime opening. She currently have 255 000 subscribers
  11. Yukihana Lamy (雪花ラミィ) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its fifth generation of VTubers alongside Momosuzu Nene, Shishiro Botan, Mano Aloe and Omaru Polka. Her personality can be described as "pure and all-loving". She was introduced on hololive's YouTube channel in a small introductory video along with the rest of the fifth gen on 6 August. Her Twitter account was created in April 2020. She made her first tweet on 6 August. Her YouTube channel was created on 12 April but she debuted until 12 August 2020 during a stream, reaching 100,000 subscribers during that day. She currently have 325 000 subscribers
  12. Himemori Luna (姫森ルーナ) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its fourth generation of VTubers alongside Tsunomaki Watame, Tokoyami Towa, Kiryu Coco and Amane Kanata. Luna has a sweet and innocent personality, although due of her status as the Princess of Candy Kingdom and as the youngest hololive member, she is a bit pampered and always asks for the older hololive members' attention, especially Natsuiro Matsuri's. In recent streams, Luna also showed hints of sadism and yandere personalities traits although it's not that prominent. Being a 0 year old, Luna speaks in a childlike manner that almost resembles a toddler who just learned how to speak. She also often adds verbal tics like Nnnaaaaa~ (んなあああああ~) and Nanora (んなのら) in her words. She also refers to herself in third person. She currently have 332 000 subscribers
  13. Tokoyami Towa (常闇トワ) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its fourth generation of VTubers alongside Tsunomaki Watame, Kiryu Coco, Amane Kanata and Himemori Luna. Despite being a Devil, Towa is a sweet, kind-hearted, down to earth girl, which has caused many of her fans to insist that she is an Angel instead, Towa herself tries to play it off as being irritated and claiming she hates angels. She doesn't truly mean it as she likes Kanata. Her streams are usually wholesome and relaxing. She really enjoys herself while streaming and often get hyped when playing FPSs, but she might rage if she dies in said games. She also doesn't like horror games as she gets scared fairly easy. Towa also likes singing and she is well known for her powerful vocal range. She greets her viewers with "Ohayappi" (おはやっぴー) or "Konyappi" (こんやっぴー) and she says goodbye with "Otsuyappi" (おつやっぴー). She currently have 304 000 subscribers
  14. Amane Kanata (天音かなた) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its fourth generation of VTubers alongside Tsunomaki Watame, Tokoyami Towa, Kiryu Coco and Himemori Luna. Kanata is an angelic denizen currently studying at the Heaven Academy to become a full-fledged angel. She is currently 18 years old. (She specifies that this is her "angel age", but has stated in past streams that this is the same as her human age.)[7] Kanata is extremely sweet, polite, friendly and demure. She is somewhat more quiet and reserved when compared to her contemporaries in hololive's fourth generation, and her sense of humor generally tends to be less crass or vulgar. However, she admits she has a playfully "sadistic" streak to her,[8] which usually manifests in her teasing her audience or playing pranks on her fellow hololive members. She has also admitted that she is markedly shy and that she sometimes tries to conceal this with a "cool facade" when around other people.[9] Kanata has also been noted by viewers as genuinely somewhat innocent and even a little naive, leading to viewers becoming (jokingly) concerned that she may be "corrupted" by other hololive members such as Kiryu Coco or Natsuiro Matsuri. She currently have 450 000 subscribers
  15. Houshou Marine (宝鐘マリン) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its third generation of VTubers under the name of "hololive Fantasy" (ホロライブファンタジー) alongside Usada Pekora, Uruha Rushia, Shiranui Flare, and Shirogane Noel. Marine is a bold, fast-talking girl who often throws caution to the wind, making obscene jokes and playfully mocking both her higher-ups and her viewers. She often struggles to keep her lewdness in check, and openly lusts after fictional female characters. According to her backstory, she loves money, jewels and treasure, and decided to become a VTuber to get money to buy her own ship. As such, Marine is officially a cosplayer and not a real pirate. Though she claims to be 17 years old, her self-described "auntie" voice, lack of physical stamina, and extensive knowledge of 2000-2010 Internet culture indicate that she is almost certainly older than she claims she is. This is supported by other hololive members' habits of teasing her about her age. Her age has become a recurring joke on her channel; for example, on 30 July 2020 (Marine's birthday), she claimed to be turning 17 again for a "second season", to which Himemori Luna states, via a drawing, that she is 27. She greets her viewers with "Ahoy!", a typical pirate greeting. She currently have 716 000 subscribers
  16. Shirogane Noel (白銀ノエル) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its third generation of VTubers under the name of "hololive Fantasy" (ホロライブファンタジー) alongside Usada Pekora, Uruha Rushia, Shiranui Flare, and Houshou Marine. Noel is a clumsy but mostly wholesome knight, with a more girlish voice than her appearance would suggest (though she can pull out a mature older sister voice if the occasion calls for it). Her character archetype is best described as having more muscle than brains; she often streams video games, but is rarely seen actually doing well in them. Noel's thirst for Shiranui Flare is arguably matched only by Natsuiro Matsuri's thirst for girls in general. She gets jealous if Flare so much as interacts with someone else, and since Flare is somewhat of a chick magnet, this happens very often. She currently have 588 000 subscribers
  17. Shiranui Flare (不知火フレア) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its third generation of VTubers under the name of "hololive Fantasy" (ホロライブファンタジー) alongside Usada Pekora, Uruha Rushia, Shirogane Noel, and Houshou Marine. Flare is a kind and extremely humble individual, almost to a fault. Her kindness is vouched for most often by the other hololive Fantasy members, which has resulted in her so-called 'harem,' with Pekora being an exception. However, out of the four members in hololive Fantasy, it remains to be Noel who is the most blatant in her affection. Other hololive members, like Sora, have expressed their admiration for Flare because of her versatile voice and mature aura. However, although Flare is known to be cool and aloof at first glance, she is actually quite childish and girly, which comes out the most in her horror streams and when she is drunk. She has also expressed her want to be more confident in herself in the hololive Fantasy 1st Anniversary stream. She currently have 332 000 subscribers
  18. Inugami Korone (戌神ころね) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of a group of VTubers inside called as hololive Gamers (ホロライブゲーマーズ) alongside Shirakami Fubuki, Ookami Mio, and Nekomata Okayu. Korone has a sweet and goofy personality comparable to that of an actual dog. She often kisses other hololive members for no reason, and has a high-pitched laugh that resembles a train whistle or flute. Like most dogs, Korone is fiercely loyal, specifically to Nekomata Okayu. The two are rarely seen apart, and the pair is known as "OkaKoro". While her activities are usually wholesome, Korone can also be unintentionally terrifying at times; for example, she accidentally revealed that she had searched for torture/execution methods in her mobile browser history, laughed joyfully while using a chainsaw in Doom, and was completely unfazed by a scene in Heavy Rain where the protagonist (under Korone's control) was forced to cut off his own finger. However, it does not seem that Korone is violent by nature; rather, it seems like she is too innocent to understand the implications of what she is actually doing. Fandom may earn an affiliate commission on sales made from links on this page. Korone has a fondness for retro games, especially those that are more niche (or even poorly-made). She gets a lot of amusement from the strangeness in these games, often laughing at how absurd they can be. Korone's greeting her viewers with "Yubi! Yubi!" which originated from her desire to have her own unique greeting. During her first stream with the other members of hololive Gamers Korone noticed that she was the only one out of the group that didn't have her own greeting. She joked about possibly greeting her viewers by asking for their fingers, after which they would reply "Yubi! Yubi!" in return. Her battle cry when playing games is "Horayo!" She currently have 963 000 subscribers
  19. Nekomata Okayu (猫又おかゆ) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of a group of VTubers inside called as hololive Gamers (ホロライブゲーマーズ) alongside Shirakami Fubuki, Ookami Mio, and Inugami Korone. Okayu is typically very relaxed, free-spirited, and also somewhat of a playboy. She sometimes flirts openly with other hololive members just to see their reactions and is also known for impulsively swiping food. She never denies her wrongdoings and was handed a guilty verdict in several "Okayu Court" cases, after which she obediently served her sentence. Despite her laid-back personality, Okayu can get very emotional when playing games to the point that she can break down into tears during emotional moments in the story. This happened most notably when she finished: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, where she cried on stream after beating the game for a few minutes and needed a moment to compose herself. Fandom may earn an affiliate commission on sales made from links on this page. She greets her viewers with "Mogu! Mogu!" She currently have 591 000 subscribers
  20. Ookami Mio (大神ミオ) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of a group of VTubers inside called as hololive Gamers (ホロライブゲーマーズ) alongside Shirakami Fubuki, Nekomata Okayu, and Inugami Korone. Mio is frequently described by fans and other hololivers as being mature, responsible and level-headed when compared to her peers. In the holo no graffiti animated shorts Mio is frequently seen playing the part of the "straight-man", reacting comparatively like a real person would to her coworkers' absurd shenanigans or the onset of surreal situations. Mio is also regarded as being exceptionally kind, even among the already enormously friendly hololive staff, with both fans and peers frequently seeking her personal advice. This friendly and wise persona has earned her the popular nickname "Mio-mama". Despite these mature traits, however, Mio is frequently touted as one of the biggest scaredy-cats in hololive. Among hololive's roster Mio is one of the most susceptible to horror movies or the scares in horror-themed games. This aspect of her personality is also supported by the holo no graffiti animated shorts, with Mio being revealed to be extremely easily frightened by ghost-stories, being completely unwilling to remain alone in the dark and becoming almost catatonic when scared. She has stated that she sometimes has to suppress her more wild, wolf-like instincts and compulsions. These compulsions have included things like outright eating her coworkers Tsunomaki Watame (a sheep girl) and Nekomata Okayu (a cat girl). She usually acts as the tsukkomi (straight man) during collaborations, by pointing out the ridiculousness of whatever other members are saying or doing. She has a silly habit of saying "shuba shuba shuba" to express excitement or contentment. Subaru has a stereotypical tomboyish appearance, accentuated by her short hair, and her baseball fan attires, with a red with white cap turned backwards, a white and yellow-striped jersey, acompanied by a blue pea whistle, white and red shorts, a pair of thigh high socks, one white and the other red, and a pair of white tennis shoes with yellow laces. she has tied to her left hip a yellow hollow plastic bat (used in chants during baseball games) with a yellow piece of fabric. 24. Murasaki Shion (紫咲シオン) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its second generation of VTubers alongside Minato Aqua, Nakiri Ayame, Yuzuki Choco, and Oozora Subaru. Shion is a smug, cheeky brat ("kusogaki") who speaks bluntly without the usual politeness/consideration associated with the Japanese language, and flirts shamelessly with other hololive members. She wants to be seen as an adult, but thanks to her childish appearance and mannerisms, all attempts by Shion to appear adult-like end up looking very silly. She has a friendly rivalry with Minato Aqua, and the two can often be seen playing petty and mostly harmless pranks on each other. One of her most iconic cries is her guttural scream of "NEEEEEEE". This was most famously uttered by Shion after Natsuiro Matsuri revealed that Shion's wet sneezing sounds were heard by Matsuri's listeners in one of her livestreams. She currently have 444 000 subscribers.
  25. Minato Aqua (湊あくあ) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its second generation of VTubers alongside Murasaki Shion, Nakiri Ayame, Yuzuki Choco, and Oozora Subaru. Aqua is a bumbling airhead who somehow manages to become the victim of every joke she gets involved in. She is also childish and prone to throwing tantrums, smashing her keyboard, and hyperventilating when things don't go as planned (which is most of the time). She enjoys playing pranks and causing mischief, but it almost always backfires because of a combination of poor planning and bad luck. To make matters worse, Aqua makes no attempt to avoid embarrassing situations, to the point at which many wonder if she might actually be masochistic. She has asked other hololive members, including Uruha Rushia, to bully her on several occasions. However, while Aqua appears to be an incompetent crybaby, she is deceptively skilled at highly technical video games like Sekiro, Dark Souls, Apex Legends (Diamond rank),and League of Legends (Diamond rank). She is also a prolific streamer, with a record of five streams in a single day. According to other hololive members, Aqua is kind and responsible but extremely introverted while off-camera, and only opens up while streaming. She currently have 752 000 subrscribers.
