  1. Hi there! I'm developing my first ever visual novel called The Cold Case of Noella Bejerot. It's a detective story about a girl named Grace Sinclair who gets kicked out of high school, kicked out of her house, and wanders the streets in search of a home. Things start to look up when she gets offered a job as a detective! The only problem is... how can a girl who faints at the sight of blood solve murder cases? Here's a more detailed version of the story here: Grace Sinclair is a less than stellar student. In fact, she’s flunked out of her high school at 20 years old! That’s not even the worst of her problems. Her dad kicks her out, and now starving and homeless, our hero bravely steals a snack from the convenience store on the other side of town. Just then, a masked man comes in! He holds up the store, waving a gun around and demands for all the money in the register or there’ll be consequences.The police show up and out of luck, Grace is able to help them find out the identity of the robber. The head detective, Delilah Araceli, is so impressed she offers Grace a job. Feeling that this may be her chance to make a true difference in the world, she accepts the job! The only problem is, Grace does NOT have good reasoning skills and on top of that has a condition where she faints at the sight of blood! As you progress through the story, it’s up to Grace to solve cases from homicide to domestic abuse to the legends of the mysterious and murderous serial killer known only as “The Banshee”. All while she’s hiding her secret from her quirky co-workers, who I remind you are DETECTIVES, before she ends up back on the street! She’ll have to solve her hardest case yet when she faces, The Cold Case of Noella Bejerot. You'll meet some interesting characters that I will be posting about next week on my wordpress.   2. Hello everyone! I'm posting this as Director of Sun-Riviera studios, a new studio that is currently creating and trying to successfully fund their first VN: Dawn drop. A bit about our team: As director I am from a animation,3-D modeling and Game design background and as such I have knowledge and experience over what is needed to make a successful game in terms of marketing, content, what works and what doesnt, and most importantly an eye for quality. Roles such as deadlines, writing and approval/decline of assets is handled by myself as well as advertisement and marketing. Our team of artists include a background artist, character designer and a clean up/final artist. Each artist was hand chosen and hired for being excellent at their craft, higher then normal. We have a in-house composer as well who studies music at their university. A programmer who is also a major in his field and a English major for editing. All these in order to assure the highest quality content. This means that both the number of decision points and the number of choices or options that you will find in those decision points may vary according to your previous decisions during the game. TEASER SYNOPSIS The world where the Omega Pattern story happens is seemingly normal, similar to the one we live in. However, genetics and fate mean that a few individuals are born with a kind of Pattern or special brain signal which lets them develop unique and varied psychic skills that are determined by their life experiences, which form their behavior and character. From the shadows, an organization known as Bioagora controls the world according to its own interests thanks to the power and influences that they get, in part, from their Agents. These Agents are people who own the Pattern and have been coerced, bought, forced and even captured against their will to be brainwashed and indoctrinated, so they can faithfully serve the Bioagora. Shaiel (21 years old), a man who possesses the Pattern, has found himself forced to live in secrecy in order to avoid falling into the hands of the Bioagora. However, as time passes, it gets more difficult to escape from a power which is increasing exponentially. Seeking for allies has become an unavoidable, and it seems that the only alternative available are the Celtas; a small and poorly organized group with unorthodox methods, whose plan to face the Agents and restoring an order different to the Bioagora’s seems near impossible. As the rest of the population stay impassive in a gray world, Shaiel will have Shaiel to play his cards right and find out the truth hidden by the Bioagora, the Celtas and himself.   4. Hello, we are Broken Hammer Games. Our current project in development is: All is Fair in Dust and Air. VNdb: https://vndb.org/v21699 We are originally a fan team, turned indie developer who has a contract with Muse Games, the creators of Guns of Icarus. Our VN is based on the Guns of Icarus world. A steampunk/dieselpunk kind of world where airships are the main method of travel. Our story currently spans every nation faction within the world of Guns of Icarus and is expected to clock in past 700,000 word count. Being based within the world of Guns of Icarus, Dust and Air attempts to tell a story based on the pieces of lore that Muse has created. Their world lore is very open and vague, giving us plenty of room to flesh it out with this story. Our story is not canon, but it is within the realm of possibility and Muse could certainly choose to make some of it canon later.   9. Summary: One day, the face of the Earth was changed permanently when it came into contact with a mysterious force known as the “Alpha Nebula”. With it, humans developed various unexplainable abilities, and divided themselves based on those traits. The main factions include: The Tonitrui, the Excedente, the Praecantator, the Permuto, and the Northmanni. All have their own set of unique abilities that came with infamous Alpha Nebula collision, with the exception of the Northmanni who remain largely unchanged. Among these races however, existed a special group of people who managed to retain all the other race’s abilities. They were a very powerful, but small isolated group of people, called “emulators”. Arin Arlento was one of these people, living in a remote village with his grandfather and other emulators. All was going peacefully, until it was attacked by the Northmanni empire, who slaughtered his entire race and kidnapped his childhood friend, Aria. Being the only other survivor, Arin escaped into the Northmanni empire, hiding and plotting his revenge. That is until finding out that Aria is still alive, and is being experimented on by the Northmanni. Resentful of the world that took everything away from him, Arin begins his quest to retrieve his friend, and exact retribution on those who destroyed all that he held dear. It’s one misguided man against the world. Genres:[action, adventure, superpower, psychological, romance, war.] The GUI, done by Trey Fletcher; Structure: the story would be mostly linear as the choices mostly appear during battle and have their instant bad ends attached to it. The common route before each branching point is not very long as it serves to introduce the heroine who you would be branching into. It has an enforced playing order of Alacria->Aniam. Once the reader branches into the four other heroines the main story ends there and it focuses on the specific problems of the heroine. Due to various issues, Episicava would be released in 3 separate volumes as opposed to one whole. Setting: one of the main features of this story is that it is adventure styled. The protagonist and his posse of troubled combat capable girls move about on the various continents to seek new shelter. Each continent represents an ethnicity or fault of human nature. Northmanni- Modern day society. Styled after Japan and America. Fulgur- represents humanity’s scientific progression and the harm it causes. Tribus- represents African tribalism and the cultural implications it puts on its people.   12. No way Darling is a visual novel I've thought of after watching Diabolik Lovers, an anime adaptation of a vampire otome game. I personally found it so awful it was funny. The whole time I thought "Why doesn't the MC do this instead of that?" Why does she act so cutesy and timid instead of sarcastic and sassy? I find this to be a problem in a lot of games honestly... So the initial idea was "Girl surrounded by vampires boys, teases them and makes fun of them." This idea has change of course, and is now more of. "I came to school and it seems everyone around me is a murderer." I've been mulling around with a Virtual Novel idea for about a year now and not done much with it (Besides one year you'll hear). Now, saying that I must add that I did have a dev team about 6 months ago, but we disbanded. Moving on, we (mostly I but eh) finished up to the beta Prolouge, and of course i've revised it more than I can count haha. The main reason for this though is i'm continuing what I started, and looking for people to do this with. The game i've been referring to is called Starry Nights, and follows the main protaganist Tyler as he copes with a devastating car crash that kills his family and seriously injures him to the point where if he moves and or exercises to strongly or with to much force a piece of metal from the crash, that they couldn't get out from surgery due to it being to close to the heart, could sever a tension and cause him to bleed out and die. Whew that was a bit haha. All this is subject to change of course, but that's what I have as of right now. Cut me some slack i'm a one man team, and before it was three.
