  1. Hey guys & gals, I'm having trouble converting some character sprites from the visual novel Yahari Game demo Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. When I convert the sprites from GXT to PNG, they end up being 'tiled' so it looks like it needs to be rearranged. I'm no pro at image editing, but when I did it myself there seems to be a lot of tearing. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to properly rearrange the sprites, programs or any other methods? Any tips or tricks will do! Additionally, when I extracted the whole archive for the sprites, it included a small-sized file which may be the data needed to rearrange the layout of the image since it's only a few kilobytes. Here's an example of the sprite. Here is the corresponding layout file (I think).
  2. My shy and completely asocial friend bribed me with cakes to present you with this message: As the message says, it's an online VN creator which doesn't require much time to learn (bonus points for people with basic programming knowledge) and can be played on virtually any device. For now it doesn't have the option to add music or images - but they will be implemented, as soon as we figure out how to avoid keeping zetabytes of data from every user. Feel free to ask any questions either on the subreddit or under this post.
  3. Any idea how to make it look better? Im using Wizards Climber Script. It's soufthouse chara's game. Text files are in utf-8 I quess.
  4. Hello, and greetings... should I say? Well, I'm trying to extract scripts and others stuff from this game >https://vndb.org/v17790 and this >https://vndb.org/v14523 both games use kirikiri 2 as engine, I unpacking both without any problem with the xp3viewer, then I translated some scripts just as test but when I try to repacking with the kikiriki tool this problem appears This error appear in both games as well, I don't know too much about this stuff so if someone know about this error can please help me?
  5. Hello. I'm a new member and this is my first post so I'm extremely sorry if I'm doing something against the guidelines. There's hardly any good yuri eroge visual novels and most people are just stuck with Sono Hana. But here's a VN with not just eroge but actual routes and choices and a plot , to say nothing of the beautiful art but it has remained untranslated since its release several years ago. I had been waiting for someone to come and translate it but I remember reading a while back that there's so few yuri visual novels to go around that any people find gets translated very quickly. So I'm assuming this gem just fell into obscurity after an abandoned translation attempt back in 2014. I figured it'd stay like that unless someone made people notice its existence again so I made this post. Anyone willing to translate Seisai no Resonance? It would be a worthy and very meaningful addition to the fairly short library of yuri visual novels. The few English reviews I could find of Seisai no Resonance are absolutely glowing. I don't mean to sit lazily while others work either. I am very weak in Japanese and have little to no skill with hacking but I'm ready to help in any way I can. Just give me a task and I'll do everything I can to see to it. I'm very good at English and can help with stuff like keeping the writing style, descriptions or dialogue be as beautiful in English as it was in Japanese. If I'm not needed with that, I could try gathering people who are needed with whatever is required. I've been keeping an eye on this VN for quite a while and would hate to see it sunken forever in obscurity. I once again apologize, I know asking for visual novel translations is useless. No translator will dedicate himself/herself to the work if they're not personally interested in it. It requires some serious time and effort after all. But after keeping an eye on this one for so long, I felt I just had to give it a shot, in the hope that perhaps it's just not been translated because people aren't aware it exists. I realize that the visual novel is a niche medium and has few active members in the community, even less so when you focus on a single genre within the already obscure medium, so it's easy for things like SnR to just be forgotten, but I figured it wasn't truly forgotten if even a single person remembered.
  6. I’ve a problem with graphic files in this game. Archives are in .vfs format and the graphic inside are in .agf. I’ve managed to unpack archives with “exvfs.zip” application which automatically converted it into .bmp. I’ve also checked WizadsClimberScriptUtility and ALDExplorer and none of them was able to convert those graphics to editable form. To put the graphics back again to the archives i’m changing the format from explorer level back to .agf and with the use of ALDExplorer2 packing it back to .vfs. And here is the problem, as the files are showing up this way Example 1 Example 2 .VFS Archvie Any ideas how to prevent it? (´。_。`)
  7. I'm trying to translate "eroge h mo game" but I have problems with .ybn files

I can load the motions to the models and make them move to songs and such, but that's about it. This is for a school club. I saw a vocaloid concert two years ago which used netting to make a pseudo hologram and would like to do the concert again this year. So my question is, how should I go about starting this? Thanks~

  13. Hello everyone, as you can see in the title I am trying to find a way how to repack the .ARC files for Tayutama 2. I managed to extract the files from the .ARC archive, I managed to change script lines from JP to EN (just a few sentences for a test), but I could not find ANY way how to repack the files back to .ARC with maintaining the size and archive's information. Every tool I could find was just for extracting... Unfortunately I could not find ANY repacker that supports Tayutama 2 on google... Is there anyone who has any experience in programming and could try to make a repacker for this game? Is it even possible? Thank you for your answers, Aki
  14. Hello everyone! Last year i made my first VN translation to my language (hungarian) and lot of people liked it. This year, i want start a bigger project with my favorite VN the Akatsuki no Goei. I want translate the Trinity Edition, , because it has better pictures. But i can't find working. unpack-repack tools. The file is .xp3, but i think it's protected, because with all tools what i used, just give me unreadable script files. I plan make an english translation too. I really hope that someone can help with this! Laczy90
  15. I extracted Scene.pck but now I can not repack it.The file is from a SiglusEngine game. What should I do? I tried the tool that I've found ,but it errors."createpck.exe has stopped working"
  16. Hello! Well my problem is that I want to create a patch for a game (Kirikiri) and what happens is that they are all files distributed in 2 .xp3 one called '' data.xp3 '' (text files .ks .tjs / weight Little 8BM so I have no problem in packaging everything) and the other file called '' gamedata.xp3 '' (weighs almost 500mb and inside there are many folders of which I just want to edit some but in doing so and separately packaging the game does not Opens me and I see a blue window) The thing is that in other VN has similar files (large in BM) but have separated some folders that are also in that file and the VN is well. EJ: gamedata.xp3 - bgimage - fgimage - Sound - etc... All those files containing the '' gamedata.xp3 '' are in the form of bgimage.xp3 fgimage.xp3 etc ... outside of '' gamedata.xp3 '' and the VN works fine, but when I try to do that myself Gives an error. I just want help so that does not happen PS, excuse my bad English PD2: sorry if I did not understand PD3: thanks for your attention
  17. i try to translate karehana, but unfortunately kirikiri doesnt suport word wrap by default... i tried trick from this website, https://lv1translator.wordpress.com/2014/05/15/word-wrapping-code-upload/ by copying & modify the code from mainwindow.tjs file, but it seem didnt work... (PS: this image is just a test)
  18. I just want to increase a font size of a VN. However, upon extracting the .xp3 file, I can't find any .tff file. I tried to increase any value that say fontsize in many .tjs files and .ks files but it just does not work. Can somebody tell me where the font data is located at, or how to increase font size? Scenario folder: System folder:
  19. Basically, the error is like below. I have no idea how to fix it, I tried another tool named Sanoba and got the exact MemoryError. Does anyone has some experience with this, please share with me. Solution: Use something else, aka bundled tool with Kirikiri.
  20. The game has been around for a little while, and eventually a team of translators decided to take it on, but, we haven't heard from any of them since :S so it bit the dust really quick. The concept is really interesting to say the least. All the dialogue and narration of the game is at http://wiki.yuriproject.net/limit_panic they are for anyone to pick up so we have Yuri Project's permission I hope this makes the job easy, of course, is someone is willing to translate it in the first place, I would be so grateful you have no idea, I'm just gonna leave it here in case someone is interested ok? Ok.
  21. Hi guys, I'm italian I want to translate nekopara vol 1. in italian How can I extract all the files nekopara's file .xp3 ? In particular, I want to extract the file "data.xp3"
  22. I was wondering how I would go about making a custom boot up file / application file (that runs the game basically) due to that the startup file was infected with a virus (bad reason, I know). I can't boot the game and is left with all the files. So I was wondering how I would make a custom file instead that runs the game files. (sorry for bad English) the game in question this time is Little Busters! EX but I wonder if the same guideline for making these kinds of files stays somewhat relevant.
  23. Title Kuro to Kin no Akanai Kagi. Original title 黒と金の開かない鍵。 Aliases The gold and black keys that cannot open, KuroKin Length Medium (10 - 30 hours) Developer little cheese Publishers little cheese Description Katagiri Kanade is a hikikomori who spent her days lazing off in her room. Her specialty is her broad imagination which often leads to various wild delusions. One night a weird cowboy guy appeared in her dream, saying that he’s her heart’s hero. Due to his encouragement, Kanade decided to try and go have a haircut the next day. It was then when she met a mysterious guy who cut her hair in the park, giving her courage to resume her school days. Right after her haircut, Kanade was nanpa‘d by a guy who turned out to be her former classmate, Sudou Yukio. Kanade used to like him back then, and he was happy to meet her again. Kanade lives with her non blood-related brother, Sonomura Ikuto. Despite Ikuto’s warning, Kanade went looking for the mysterious guy who cut her hair the next day. She found him in the park, where he introduced himself as Hasui Tomoomi. He’s a professional hairdresser and owns a salon named Azalea nearby. Since Kanade was absent from school for so long, her homeroom teacher, Konno Chihiro, offered to help her with her studies. Having these guys around her, what will happen to Kanade’s life from now on? VNDB: https://vndb.org/v4106 I can provide the ISO for anyone who can help extract the script ;v; I've tried to extract it but failed.
  24. I'm going to translate Aiyoku no Eustia from where the partial patch by Yandere Translations finished. I've run into a technical difficulty dumping the games scripts and could use some helping working through it: -I extracted the arc files using "arc unpacker 0.2.1", this worked fine as far as I can tell (images extracted this way look fine). -When I then try to dump the extracted scripts (with names like "aiy00010", and no file extensions) using the "bgi script tools" found on tlwiki.org, I receive an error from python: "Error: 'cp932' codec can't decode byte 0xf1 in position 1: illegal multibyte sequence." -I have tried changing the code page of the console window I use to launch the python script to no avail. Relevant details: Windows 7 64bit; Python 3.5; Japanese system locale; Console run as administrator.
  25. err I'm new to this but...... I've started working on the translations for the game (By hacking the scripts out), but I don't know how to continue to make a patch at all.
