  2. Title Kuro to Kin no Akanai Kagi. Original title 黒と金の開かない鍵。 Aliases The gold and black keys that cannot open, KuroKin Length Medium (10 - 30 hours) Developer little cheese Publishers little cheese Description Katagiri Kanade is a hikikomori who spent her days lazing off in her room. Her specialty is her broad imagination which often leads to various wild delusions. One night a weird cowboy guy appeared in her dream, saying that he’s her heart’s hero. Due to his encouragement, Kanade decided to try and go have a haircut the next day. It was then when she met a mysterious guy who cut her hair in the park, giving her courage to resume her school days. Right after her haircut, Kanade was nanpa‘d by a guy who turned out to be her former classmate, Sudou Yukio. Kanade used to like him back then, and he was happy to meet her again. Kanade lives with her non blood-related brother, Sonomura Ikuto. Despite Ikuto’s warning, Kanade went looking for the mysterious guy who cut her hair the next day. She found him in the park, where he introduced himself as Hasui Tomoomi. He’s a professional hairdresser and owns a salon named Azalea nearby. Since Kanade was absent from school for so long, her homeroom teacher, Konno Chihiro, offered to help her with her studies. Having these guys around her, what will happen to Kanade’s life from now on? VNDB: https://vndb.org/v4106 I can provide the ISO for anyone who can help extract the script ;v; I've tried to extract it but failed.

  4. Hello Fuwa, On behalf of the unnamed translation team that worked on the short game, Guilty Crown Lost Christmas, we are finally able to present to you an English patch for the game. The actual translation and editing has been completed a while ago, however technical issues that led to a very long delay. We can finally release for your viewing pleasure. Let me credit the wonderful people who made this possible: Hacker: lolgc Translator: Aiden K., Crysis99 Editing: Crysis99, Andrew Siu The patch can be found here, just extract the files into the installation folder and replace any existing files. If you still encounter any bugs, technical issues, or horrible grammar then contact lolgc over at his website. Enjoy.
  5. Yo everyone. how are you all doing? to cut to the chase,I need help for starting a vn translation. my experience in vn reading is about two years.(this would make most of you guys my senpai) and my experience in vn translation is zero... but I want to have one game translated. so now is the time to introduce you to the visual novel I want to translate. http://initial-soft.com/saikoro/ サイコロジック・ラブコメディ English version:Psycho logic Love Comedy introduction: when you get away from the happiness,we enter into a loop. somewhere, sometime ,not here, not now. a boy with amnesia, Hirakase Haruki, meets a girl with the same circumstances.and they share a certain secret between themselves. and immediately, they lose consciousness. when they wake up,they have been returned to a few days ago. academy district, surrounded by high lengthened walls, boys and girls with special abilities, the assigned duty to Haruki and Yuika, with all the happenings that occur one after another, adaption to the school life continues. after some time.the two begin to take action as the coworkers that share a secret.and they find out that the "happiness" of Haruki and the loop of the world are directly connected to each other. why they have lost their memory....? why this world is in such a loop....? and...........where lies the happiness......? ok. as it shows I will be acting as one of the translators...the introduction above is my translating work.the original text is in the developer's website link above. this game is about 1.5 GB and has only three ending. I don't know about you guys but I really love this psychological VNs... and first of all I need someone too hack the game and extract the script.no need to translate the menu cuz options are mostly english or easy to understand. anyway I'm done with the topic and I'll answer to anyone who have questions or are interested in joining the project.

  7. Introduction Hello, Fuwanovel. I am Nandemonai. Yes, the same Nandemonai from the PP/Jast forums, and the Mangagamer forums (back when they had forums). A few years ago, I found out that the NI Renewal version is a thing, with improved gfx and voice acting. Since Nocturnal Illusion is still my favorite game translated in the early years, I was interested. I have some Japanese skills, so I thought I'd try my hand at translating the updated scenes. This wasn't possible for two reasons. 1) The remake breaks the scenes up into completely different file structure than the original; and 2) The original translation is just terrible. Mostly unusable, and basically unsalvagable. I'd known it wasn't very good, but was still surprised at just how "not good" it really was. Long story short, I decided to re-translate the entire game from scratch. That was in 2011. I finished up the translation some time ago. Unfortunately, the coders I was relying on to reinsert the translation seem to have dropped off the face of the earth. The Team 6/26/2016 Thanks to Ryechu for agreeing to be an editor! 7/10/2016 A (belated) thanks to Mad Pierre mnakamura for agreeing to do the port. Well, to be honest? Right now (6/19/2016) there is no "team", there's just me. However, I did not reach this point all by myself. I would like to thank Kagami-sensei for generously assisting me in translating various lines that were giving me trouble. Kagami has touched < 1% of the lines of the game, but they're all the hard lines. Thank you very much. I would like to thank the folks over at vilevn.org - BaSF, Fenris, and kile. Without their assistance, this effort would have gone nowhere. They showed me how to extract the text from the original Nocturnal Illusion. They extracted the text from the remake (which involved finding existing tools, and then fixing bugs in them when they didn't work right). They sadly seem to have vanished. The last communication I had from them was in 2014, where they hoped to have a new version of vile ready "in a few months". Thank you guys very much for all the hard work. Progress Translation: 100% Editing: 50% Let's break this out. Initial editing pass: (by me) 100% Second pass (by Ryechu Darklord Rooke): 24.9% 71.0% Last updated: 07/04/2018 Coding: Need Humanity (0%) This project is now recruiting. I need coders capable of getting the remade script inserted into something that runs on modern Windows. Also, while I did a second pass of the translation and edited on the way, it probably needs real editors. Update: In the rollback, an edit to this post got lost. Ryechu and Darklord Rooke have agreed to edit this, and Mad Pierre mnakamura has agreed to port the game to an engine he is working on. Misc Q. Didn't you say the translation is at 100%? Why 99%? A. Yes, but there are a few minor nits that - since I'm creating this page anyway - I might as well try to crowdsource some picks for. More details to follow when I have time to post them. As it turns out, I was able to figure these out myself. Q. What about licensing? Doesn't Peter Payne have Nocturnal lllusion? A. Indeed he does, and I approached him about an official release. He informed me he hasn't got rights to the remake. (I presume the original contract is somehow still good, but the remake needs rights that can't be gotten because the company hasn't existed in 15 years. But Peter didn't say.) Peter did say a fan patch was okay with him.

  9. Hi I don't often sing up to forums but FuwalNovel helped me a lot So, we're a french team and we're tanslating some BL games : Togainu no Chi, DMMD, Sleepover, Bacchikoi, Omerta, ... some of them are already done. But if i come here today it's because we're losing too much time with big projects like Togainu no Chi, DMMD, ... The engine of those game doesn't accept our french specials chars (é, è, à, ç, ù, « », ...) due the SHIFT-JIS. We tried to encode the scripts in UTF-8 but it doesn't run after. And we don't even know how to compile the scripts. I can extract but that's all i can do with those engine... So, to make those games in French, we wanted to make them with Ren'py, it means to re-make the whole game in Ren'py... It takes so much time... If i'm here it's to try to find someone who knows how we can do to use those chars. I know it's possible to replace those chars in the font (ie : ☆ = é) but i don't like this solution because our scripts will look like : "J'ai aim☆" it too weird x) A french guy has done Saya no Uta (it's quite the same engine for Togainu no Chi and DMMD) in 2010 but his website is down and i found an email address but i'm always waiting for an answer since 2012 Yes... I'm trying to find a solution since 2012... Thank you in advance !
  10. I'm no translator but I'm looking to expand this project and break its chains out of Hongfire because things are going slow and Full translation with the current team seems impossible so since no one will make this project known i figured Id spread the word. 13. Hello everyone! I am planning on starting a translation project of the VN 恋しよっ? but I am having trouble extracting the scripts. I believe the scripts are in the data7.pack files but I am having trouble extracting them. I also found this http://asmodean.reverse.net/pages/exfp3.html but I have no idea how to use it as my programming skills is close to none. Thanks again for your time! Any help is appreciated! -Vongalaxy
  14. Hey there, Firstly I'm not associated with any of the other groups that have been translating this game, but I'd like to say that I have posted a preliminary English patch of Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/lzema5cz6ogh51y It is by no means supposed to replace the work that the other groups have been doing, and I strongly urge you to get their's when it comes out, they worked with a team so it is very likely to be less rough around the edges, and also they have some cool bonus material. But if you know that you can't wait for their version to be uploaded, there is already a version at the above link See the README for installation instructions. *NOTE: THIS IS A PATCH, IT REQUIRES A JAPANESE COPY OF THE GAME TO WORK [Edit]: Kinda just realised that I mistranslated some of the character's names. I uploaded an update to the same link as above in which the names are fixed. [Double-edit]: Sorry for the shameless self-promo, but I edited the third Japanese trailer for corpse party with my English version which can be found on Youtube here: https://youtu.be/c62M1AEFQT0 with some subtitles edited in real quick. But it's not like I want you to watch it or anything...Baka! [Triple-edit]: People'll still be able to post here, and I'll still read it, but I finally got a website set up, so I'll be posting my progress on what I'm doing next with this translation over there, seeing how the patch needs more than a little ironing out. I didn't want to be a click-baitor or misleading, but I'm also going to change the name of the thread to be more google-friendly... My website, which will be updated with explanations on what is happening with the project can be found here: http://gumiislife.wix.com/hikikomorihonyaku
  15. Arcana is a rather old game from 2000 by Ciel, and seems relatively obscure, although it has some very beautiful (if brutally censored) artwork from Tony Taka. I plan to do a complete conversion of the entire game from its own internal engine to Ren'py, and am making reasonable progress as far as that goes. I'm also trying to translate the game to English obviously, and while I do know some Japanese I don't know anywhere near enough to do this sort of thing properly. The project is thus in need of translators, translation checkers, and editors. I should be cut out for most of the programming work required, but I hear the game supposedly has some card battles too, and we'll see if that needs to be reverse engineered from the code too. Would also be nice if someone could undo the damage the censors did to Tony's work, but I think that can wait. Anyone interested in participating, please post your interest here or PM me. Thanks!
  16. Ok, like tittle say it Natsuiro High School translation project All info about it uploaded here: http://tlwiki.org/index.php?title=Natsuiro_High_School About Story Translation All scripts uploaded on tlwiki (BUT i don't translate it on tlwiki, it's easy to do on my pc) Who want to help me or have something to discuss post here) And if somebody would help with translation some of images it would be great! If someone intrusted in joining, then write here or p.m. me
  17. Boku no Hitori Sensou / My own private war - latest VN from Looseboy - scenario writer for Devil on a G-String and Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo. You can read review by Clephas here. https://vndb.org/v15797 What is done so far: well, I "adapted" game for unicode, so no need to change your locale anymore. Then, I changed the output from that vertical to normal horizontal (you can see in the image below), also translated top menu and MOST of it ALL, lo and behold - PROLOGUE (1st part of it) in GLORIOUS GOOGLE TRANSLATE!!! Obv I can do more, fix imperfections like word wrapping, change border, other stuff, but... no reason for that right now How to use - just download patch and put in the installation directory, where you have wa.exe, this will do the trick! Enjoy! Btw, if someone REALLY want to translate the game - then I need translator and editor and maybe image editor, if first two would be found. Feel free to contact me.
  18. Description ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Progress Translation: 32977/32977 Translation Check - 32977/32977 Editing: 32977/32977 Image editing: 100% Hacking: 100% Who's working on this at the moment? Translation: Chifuyu-chan Editing: Mimosa Hacking: anonymous Project Website Big thanks to everyone who helped us along the way! Scripts are now 100% edited and currently being inserted into the game. Please do buy the game if possible! It has been a long road due to time constraints and real life hurdles, but it has finally been completed. Don’t get your hopes up though, since I am the only person inserting the scripts manually as my editor (@mimosa) finally left after doing an exceptional job. Still, it may take a while for me to release it because of a stubborn personal reason. This would be my first and last visual novel project and I want it to be near perfect, free of bugs and errors, because I would never look back on this project again and that may leave you guys hanging. With that said, me and some testers I choose on discord will play the game thoroughly so that we would be free of those things. I cannot promise any dates since I only do this in my free time because of my work, but rest assured that it will be finished and we’ll have Kururu ease our hearts.
