Hey everyone, Some time ago I created a topic for some tool to extract .pck files from the game "Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk", there someone created a tool, with that I extracted the files but in these there are .bin files. I searched all kinds of methods to decrypt them but none has been feasible. So I was trying to extract the files from the game directory for this game - https://vndb.org/v19083 But when I extract the files from the circled ones, the texts that come up are garbled nonsense. I tried to switch to different encoding but the results remained the same. First of all I went into the game directory and extracted the contents of this file - Then I selected the CODE file to open thinking it will have the coding part - But all it showed was this blasphemy - Then I changed the encoding several times but the results were more or less the same - Does anyone have any idea, how can I hack the script for this game? Hello, I don't have much knowledge in this kind of stuff. I want to try to translate the game in Greek but the font in-game shows symbols when I edit the dialogue. I already extracted the nss.npa with nipa. Also, I think the game uses the font "Tahoma" and "Lucida console". Thanks for your attention.

Hi guys, I'm a inexperienced translator trying to figure out how to extract the script from Astronaut's Nukige "Erect!" and I'm running into some problems (I'm not really good at technical issues). The game files are .gxp which I was able to extract using asmodean's tool, but inside the bincode.gxp is a moacode.mwb file . Using hex editor it's obvious that's where all of the dialogue for the game goes, but I can't figure out how to extract it. I look it up in the old data extraction thread and learn that their later games use the .mwb as a zlib file....I tried using some zlib tools to extract it but it seems like it's not a zlib file in this game. This has been mentioned before by Yasminkov If anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it, thanks.

Hello, I am working on translating a game, but I have been unable to find a tool that can pull the script out of the game itself. The game uses a .pac file format, which doesn't seem to be supported by any of the commonly used tools. I have heard that .pac is an archive format, like .zip, but have been unable to find a tool that can unpackage them, if indeed that is what they are. I've attached a screen grab of the game files in case that helps identifying the format or the engine. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. Hello, first post here I want to try translating a visual novel Honoo no Haramase Oppai Nyuu Doukyuusei ~Oppai mo Haramase! New Class Zen'in Harama-sensation!~ as a hobby project, I'm currently stuck at the point where I need to grab the scene text, I did manage to locate them with Garbro. What tools do I need to extract, edit/translate and export them into the game? I've seen a few post here but the tools and tutorial links are dead, or I didn't look closely enough? Thanks! -
Since I'm playing around with this game right now, and remembered this boob growth mechanics, according to VNDB there's an upper limit however there's one character's max size is still unknown (Megumino Sakon). I've found a few pics on a Chinese forum and they have publish some data on it, the maximum they get is to add 65.15mm to the bust size ,is there any cheat tools to bypass the tedious effort of playing with RNG? Hey friends, I'm doing some amateur translating of an Artemis Engine based VN from Black Lilith and have come across a small hiccup where lines replaced by their english translation are skipped over. For example: 閑静な住宅街にある、少しだけ広めの一軒家。 この世界に存在する、人間以外の知的生命体――エルフ族について研究・考察する学問、エルフ学の権威である霧原龍太郎教授の自宅である。 If I were to replace the first line with anything in english, the game will start the scene at "この世界に存在する、人間以外の知的生命体――エルフ族について研究・考察する学問、エルフ学の権威である霧原龍太郎教授の自宅である。" However, if I were to start the first line with any japanese character (閑, 、), the line would display: "閑 A modest but spacious house in a quiet residential area" or even "、A modest but spacious house in a quiet residential area" before continuing onto "この世界に存在する、人間以外の知的生命体――エルフ族について研究・考察する学問、エルフ学の権威である霧原龍太郎教授の自宅である。" All I've gotten done so far is extracting the scenario files (which come as a .txt) and it looks like the extracted files are used instead of the files in the packed .pfs. I've never tried to edit visual novels before, i'm clearly doing something wrong... Maybe it's about formatting? I'd love it if someone were to point me in the right direction! Hello! I'm looking for help with the game Dynamic Chord feat. apple-polisher (VNDB page). I've already translated to spanish Dynamic Chord reve parfait and I'm working on Liar-S right now, both of which have an older version of the engine (the one with the .wsc file extension). It's a honeybee black otome game that uses the AVDHD engine (a new version of the Will co. engine, it seems). It uses a .ws2 file extension for the script files (these are packed into the Rio.arc file, but I was able to extract them). The problem comes when repacking the text into the .ws2 files and replacing them into the game. So far I've tried 3 different methods: 1) Will Plus Manager (link) this tool lets you edit the ws2 directly (without converting them into a .txt) and then repack them into a .arc. This was my most ‘succesful” attempt, in that it showed the text exactly as expected in-game. However, the game freezes once it reaches the end of the modified file. 2) ahdprc (link) the .txt I get out of the ws2 files lack some dialogue lines. I also couldn’t get it to repack stuff succesfully. When I try to replace the files in the game and open it, I just get an error and a blank text box. I also tried a combination of ahdprc (for the first steps) + Will Plus Manager (for the encrpytion and packing), but with the same result of just using the Will Plus Manager. 3) get_ws2_text (link) this tool can extract the text, but there’s no way to reinsert it. I have been playing around with the idea of translating Ruitomo (Full Voice Edition), and for that I have tried to look around for tools that can help me extract the data files. So far, I have tried: 1. KrkrExtract - managed to extract data.xp3 (archive itself is unencrypted) into the original file structure, but all files seem to be encrypted/gibberish. All .png files cannot be viewed with an image viewer. Opening .ks files with Notepad++ and switching to Shift-JIS encoding does not yield readable text. 2. GarBRO - same result as KrkrExtract 3. Kirikiri Tools (https://github.com/arcusmaximus/KirikiriTools) : does not recognize the .ks files as scrambled script files. 4. VNTextPatch (https://github.com/arcusmaximus/VNTranslationTools) : outputs an Excel file with gibberish text Here's an example of a .ks file I have extracted: Also, maybe this could be a hint, but each .xp3 file in the game folder is associated with a .xp3.sig file. Wondering if this has anything to do with the encryption Would appreciate any help in deciphering the contents of the script, or pointers to the right approach to do so.

Hello. I've been ripping sprites from Visual Novels for a bit, but I'm still new to it. I haven't ripped sprites from ps4 before so I'm confused. Opening the .pkg and .cpk files was relatively easy, so I didn't have any issues with that. However, the files are from ID00000 to ID01867. And that's only the character files. I have no idea what files those are as it doesn't say, so I have no idea what to do atm. Here are how the files look: I'd really, really appreciate some help. I've been trying for some time now and nothing.

Recently I've been attempting to figure out how to patch Rejet games on PC. I learned how to access and edit the scripts using AnimED and everything was going well until it came to repacking the files back into their original .rpd format and replacing the game's scenario.rpd for the game to run again. I was using Bad Medicine as a test and whenever I attempted to run the game with the edited .rpd it would stay stuck on a black screen after getting past the MC naming screen. I know AnimED is partially abandoned at this point but otherwise it had worked well and I'm unsure if I'm just missing some extra step. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone, I'm currently trying to translate an older EAGLS novel made by OLE-M: Oppai no Ouja 48 https://vndb.org/v3356 I managed to extract the .pak files using arc_unpacker but from what more I tried, game needs repacking of translated Script files and this is what I'm having issues with. Found a tool online called HSHINTAI_decrypt which is supposed to be for EAGLS but whenever I use it I get an array out of bounds exception: System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array. at scriptthingy.ScriptFile.TryToFindDataFileKey(Byte[] dataFile, List`1 FileOffsets, Int32 keyLength, Byte[]& outputKey) I tried using it on other games made with EAGLES like https://vndb.org/v1802 but it didn't work for that either. https://vndb.org/v8082 seems to work though so I'm thinking it probably has something to do with the games using an older version of the engine which the tool is not compatible with. Any ideeas ? Thanks

Sorry for the duplicate post, the other one was posted in the wrong forum. This is the VN https://vndb.org/v15802 The game have ".dat" format file. This is the entire folder structure of the game. AnimED method doesn't work. Extractdata method can only extract the SE.dat (sound effect). Many thanks in advance!!

As the title suggests, I'm having trouble going about starting my own personal Visual Novel project. I have experience playing Little Busters and I am truly inspired by how much content is in the game. My only question is how they manage to include different and unique content in each route and each different choice you make. I was wondering if someone could explain a strategy that is used prior to writing the script that could help me manage a flowchart well. Thanks!

I am creating my own Visual Novel, but I am wondering - what kind of art style should I peak. My love for anime and manga is out of the roof, but I am not sure if i want to create a game in its style. I was planning more of a semi-realistic approach...What do you think?

when I open the "scenario.arc" (arc_conv https://github.com/3licie/majiro-tools ) many ".mjo" files are opened, I pass those files to "notepad ++" and I put "condification / character set / japanese / shift-jis" and I see the text in japanese and everything opens perfectly. The problem is that when I edit the text and open the game, it sends me an error and the game dies. I would like you to help me to fix this please.
