Hello everyone! I am planning on starting a translation project of the VN 恋しよっ？ but I am having trouble extracting the scripts. I believe the scripts are in the data7.pack files but I am having trouble extracting them. I also found this http://asmodean.reverse.net/pages/exfp3.html but I have no idea how to use it as my programming skills is close to none. Thanks again for your time! I bought this VN because it had good reviews on Manga Gamer and sounded like something I would enjoy. Unfortunately, those reviews did not mention just how TERRIBLE the Engrish is in it. Seriously, reading it made my face hurt. I tried looking for a patch to fix this. There were other forums that were about this problem, as well as other bugs that exist in the VN, but any links that were provided were dead. Can anyone help me find a patch for this? Thanks.

Hello. I'm translating UI of game. but, I was faced with failure. https://github.com/Inori/FuckGalEngine/tree/master/AdvHD this is Willplus Engine Unpacking tools. I trying translated UI image( .png files) to .pna files. Maybe it works well. but, output image is invisible in game. I guess a problem with _cht.bin. It is contained all .pna files. I've attached a _cht.bin. help the analysis. _cht.bin sorry for my poor english, thank you for reading.

I'd like to get the text off of this pic so I can use it as a signature. The origin is this DeviantArt user, but they last submitted something years and years ago, so I'm pretty much boned in terms of contacting them and asking them to do it. I'd do it myself, but I'm honestly not good enough to do it without it looking weird, and I hated the final product I ended up with(didn't even save it). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey fellas. I need some help coming up with a name for a character. I just randomly felt like writing something a little goofy, and came up with the character: "Kitsune ____" for a short comedy story. Kitsune is, obviously, a kitsune though a little bit of a lazy one. She is extremely intelligent and can be cunning and manipulative, but her usual attitude and behavior is that of a lazy teenage slob. Anyways, I need a last name for Kitsune that has a little bit of a pun in it, that fits. Can really be anything, though preferably something with foxes, animal ears, tails, whatever. (Obviously need a Japanese name/ term.) Thanks in advance.

Hi there. I am wondering if someone has (or can) get the script files for the following game: A Certain Magical and Scientific Ensemble I'm planning to make a fan translation patch (and walkthrough) of this game, while making a Sakurasou No Pet na Kanojo patch. Unfortunatley at this time, I do not have a file script, which will make this a bit difficult, and I am typically busy. I'm trying to find the No DVD patch for the game to get it running but literally everywhere I've looked has been dead links or a download full of viruses. I'm still new to the Visual Novel community and I liked Little Busters enough to try playing Kud Wafter even without an english patch, but man is it a bitch to get running.

So recently, I've been getting into visual novels more, so I decided to get Muv-Luv. I've downloaded it and followed the instructions, but the problem is...the daemon tools that came with it. Every time I open it, it says Updating Virtual Devices. So I thought I should try to download it by itself. It said the same thing. Finally I downloaded a different tool but that doesn't work for Muv-Luv. So I know I didn't say whats wrong in a lot of detail, but do you think you know what's wrong with it? Thanks

Someone made an English preview patch for a game I'm interested in promoting. I was hoping I could get someone to upload a video preview showing the patch in action for an article I'm writing. Video length would be 1-2hrs. This person would have obtain the game (legally or otherwise--this is purely for demo purposes anyway), apply the patch, then hit auto mode and let the video record. Some minor interaction might be required towards the end, but otherwise this would require very little of one's time (assuming this person knows what he/she is doing, which I don't). Ideally this video would be uploaded to YouTube (I can't remember if the segment contains H-scenes or not). Rumor has it that the game contains NTR (though not the portion to be recorded, I think). I'll PM whoever takes the job with the details.

Does anyone have the english translation to the normal endings for Muv Luv Unlimited? The mother daughter scene to be exact. I can't get my game to that point without crashing. Would really like to be able to understand exactly what they're saying. Just the text here if possible would be more than enough Thanks in advance

I notice a certain operation changes of FuwaNovel. Is been quite a while since i take a look on this site, therefore i did like to ask a few question that will likely be very familiar with all the people who always keep up with FuwaNovel updates or operations. Question: before this, i used to downlaod English - VN here. the format is a torrent file. It appear that now; Fuwanovel have change over to become a center of "Information to introduce and selling VN". I am not sure about whether i am correct in my assumption, so I decide to post here to get some guidance from you.Thank you.

Is the other people getting drive load error in playing this visual novel? Is there a way to fix it? I already removed the driver error sign by updating my Microsoft C++ Redistribution but the music in the game still don't work like it's muted. Done fixing everything. Case Closed.

I am currently trying to 100% this game and so far I am at 81% but I am stuck in Episode 4. Here http://imgur.com/7k6f1Dw is my problem. The episode ending is called "Substitute Girlfriend" but I have attempted multiple times and can't seem to get it. I always end up with "Bonfire for Two". I tried google and nothing clear came up. Any advice would be helpful!!!

Hey, I've noticed there's an English patch for the normal version and I've tried to use that with my perfect edition... It obviously didn't work. So I'm hoping someone could help me out to make it compatible, because, really, all the perfect edition adds to the game is newer CGs and more RPG gameplay (cause I really want to be playing an RPG minigame in my eroge...) no new dialogue so surely there must be a way to make it compatible. I am looking for team members wanting to create a VN content focused website. The basic idea is that it would be a mix between a wikipedia and an online magazine. Different sections would be attributed to different kinds of content, be it : News, articles, tips and tools, complete walkthroughs (freely editable), translated VN database, etc. Added to that would be a dynamic member system similiar to MAL keeping track of contrbutions and interests. That would allow easy and automatic recommandation system to be implemented with proper tagging. A team builder system may also be implemented, helping active artists, editors, translators, writers to find projects they may be interested in if they are willing to. I'm looking for some team members to work with me on that project. Is recquired, motivation and a promise to carry the project to an end. I need, people with interesting ideas, programmers for coding help, designers, and later moderators for content checking. Feel free to hit at my door if you are interested. Weekly meetings (on week-ends) will be organized to set objectives and make sure that prior ones were met. If you want more info, PM me.

I'm playing Fate for the first time, in the vnds for Android. For some mysterious reason, all the choices were open, and I selected " stop Saber", what makes me enter the UBW route instead of Fate route (I realized that only yesterday). I also read that is not the right order to play the game. So, I'd need to restart the game for a proper experience or ignore that and finish the route? I'm a bit advanced in the story... So I recently downloaded the game(Koisuru Natsu no Last Reosrt). After installation I ran the game and as you can see the title and the characters are , umm ,aren't japanese. is there any solution,and yes my system locale IS set to japanese.

So I downloaded and installed the visual novel "maji de watashi ni koi shinasai! S" (majikoi S for short). But I get this problem when I start the game : I tried reinstalling the game , it didn't help. If anybody can help out , it's very apriciated!

I wanted to play 空飛ぶ羊と真夏の花 -When girls wish upon a star using ITH and TA but they won't hook and no h code is available anywhere. So as recommended by a user here I used Visual Novel Reader(VNR) and it will hook.As I am very new to VNR there are some things I can't figure even when consulting a guide(http://sakimichi.wordpress.com/2013/01/23/vnreader-advance-features/). Here are my questions 1. How to parse words in VNR. I have installed Edict on VNR and enabled on the preferences to parse but the window wont come out. All I see is the english translation. When I mean with parse pls refer to the picture below where you can another sentence other than from the game system with kanji and romaji on top of it. I want something like that but in addition I want when I mouse over the word there wouls be an individual translation like in Translator Aggregator. 2.How can I replace certain words with another on. For example in Translator Agregator there is a textfile where I can just edit and put the japanese name and its equivalent English name.While in VNR I use Atlas so Atlas did not recognized the character's Name as a name but as a word making the translation weird.

Hello xD I'm playing Konosora https://vndb.org/v9093 and I'm on Asa's route which is my first, after it I plan to go on Yoru's route but I found this other game, https://vndb.org/v10979 and now I want to play Hotaru's route. Here is my doubt, will have some spoiler if I play Hotaru after having played only two route in the first game? I need play the whole game before play the 2nd? Thank you in advance

Hi there recently i tried to play a Ren'py game on my android using the tutorial from the topic "Android Visual Novel[Let's play visual novel on the go!]. I carefully read the instructions step by step but it seems that the Ren'py application on my android can't seem to find the visual novel that i installed on it using the instructions. I have tried rebooting it and reinstalling the visual novel.

If you have the knowledge and the time, then by all means apply for the team. The team will be of 6 members max. We are looking for knowledgeable people who have time and patience to deal with this. Helping others with technical issues is not an easy task and depending on how bad the problem is, it can also be time consuming. Patience is key, good manners and a positive attitude help a lot as well. Below is a list of requirements for applicants. Newly recruited "techers" will be on a week trial period to make sure they are actively helping out people. IMPORTANT: While we require you to have a vast knowledge of computers and troubleshooting skills this does not mean you have to solve ANY AND ALL issues. It is the thought that counts, and even if you cannot solve a problem you won't be called out on that. Lastly, do remember that this is volunteer work. No one will force you to do it, no one has the right to demand help from you and you can quit anytime. REQUIREMENTS: - Have good knowledge of the Windows OS - Have installed VN's and other related software in the past. - Good general knowledge of Visual Novels. - Friendly, positive attitude and patience of steel. OPTIONAL: - Have knowledge of installation packages and patching. - Have helped on technical support in the past -Use of simple language if possible. (Some people have a difficult time following instructions if you indulge too much on technical jargon.) -Step by step instructions is a good approach. Confirming the users actions also helps. -Try your best to help users with what they have on hand. ( Example: Don't recommend third party software unless it's necessary.) As a "techer" you will coordinate your efforts with the other members of the team and in case one cannot come up with a solution, the others will be able to help. Also if another team member knows more about certain field than you, don't be shy and ask them about it or let them handle it. All potential recruits will be evaluated further after being assigned. Those accepted will be notified vía PM a week after probation.
