  1. Thanks. Maybe i'll make a manga review about it someday.
  2. I am in fact actually a fan of the light novel myself. I have read the first 7 books and now on 8th one. And yes the show does skip book 4 and there are some Lawrence's inner monologue they skipped. But i wouldn't call the anime shit. It's art style isn't that shitty. But i have to agree on the other parts.
  3. When we think of anime fighting giant robots, supernatural battles and a lot of BOOBS just comes into our minds. But there are a few unique types anime that are much as charming as the others. . I am your host Bilguun alix and today I will review an anime called Spice and wolf an adventure/romance anime aired in 2008. Plot In the mediaeval century Is a man called Kraft Lawrence, a 25-year-old traveling merchant who peddles various goods from town to town to make a living. One night when stopped at the town of Pasloe, he finds in his wagon a pagan wolf-deity named Holo who is over 600 years old. She appears to be a 15-year-old girl, except for a wolf's tail and ears. She introduces herself as the town's goddess of harvest, who has kept it blessed with good harvests of wheat for many years. Despite her responsibility to watch over the town, she wants to go back to her homeland in the north called Yoitsu; she believes the people have already forsaken her and that she has kept her promise to maintain the good harvests. And that is when our protagonist Lawrence decides to go on an adventure with her. The story of spice and wolf involves economical problems which I like to call “FINANCIAL ADVENTURE”. Holo and Lawrence travel through towns hoping to gain money and information about Yoitsu while getting into trouble in each town. The show’s most unique but bad side is that the anime takes too much time explaining financial problems like trading and marketing. At some point I have to go back and listen to what Lawrence had to say a few more times just to get the picture of it. Also the plot could be sometimes slow due to building up relationship between our two main leads. But regardless there are hardly seems to be any plot hole, it might be pain in the ass in the beginning but things do go smoothly and some of you might be interested in the financial deals. 7.6/10 Characters When you watch the first episode you see Holo sleeping in Lawrence’s wagon totally NAKED, you might think of her as a crappy fan service wolf girl. Now I won’t lie, I too thought that it was rubbish and dropped the show for three months and finally came back to know that she was in fact… the greatest female character in the history of anime. You see Holo’s personality is like a wolf. She is prideful, cunning, clever but she also has soft sides too which makes her both charming and a very interesting character. Lawrence himself is a calculating man but he is also kind. And what makes this show worth to watch is that these characters TALK with each other. That wasn't a joke. They tease each other, they talk about economics, about life, about their past and that actually makes this show golden. We click on the next episode button just to know what they are going to talk about. As for the side characters there were a few characters that had potential like Chloe, Diana, Norah etc. But the main problem about the side characters is that the show just leaves them behind and progresses the story. Well this makes sense since they are travelling but It would be better to know what happened to them. 9.3/10 Animation The animation of spice and wolf is SPLENDID. The graphics of the nature is really good, the animators never slacked off during each scene and the action scenes are cool but they are very very rare and even if you find one it won’t last for 10 seconds. 8.3/10 Sound I have to give gratitude for the first opening theme song. Because that song was really good. Spice and wolf could have gotten a childish theme song but “tabi no tochuu” fits the atmosphere perfectly. Like the show itself, the opening had a calming but swaying melody and at the over word the song really gets you. I MEAN LOOK AT THE LYRICS: If the world we dreamed of exists anywhere, let's go look for it, beyond the wind. The freezing dawn, the parched midday, the trembling night; let's go see what's at their end. As for the ending song it was refreshing and kinda childish unlike the opening. The OST had songs that can make you sad or happy and it truly fits the mediaeval theme. 8.8/10 Personal points I really loved spice and wolf. It was an anime beyond my expectation and I hope more and more people would like it. However the only problem I have with this show is that it stopped on season 2. They didn't finish the stuff they were doing, the show just got stuck on a cliffhanger and it hasn't continued ever since. I too was hoping for a season 3 but when I couldn't find one I raged and almost thrown away my laptop. The reason I’m telling you is that if you are going to watch this show be warned that it doesn't have a conclusive ending. 8.7/10 So with Plot, characters , animation ,sound and my personal enjoyment 7.6 + 9.3 + 8.3 + 8.8 + 8.7 /5 MY FINAL RATING: 8.54/10 Watch it if you like: deep characters, great relationship, economic riddles Don’t watch it if you: hate a lot of conversation, want more action, hate economical talks.
  4. I object sir ay. That is undeniablay false. I do not say gray with an ay. The nayxt person is a "gabehcuod" spelled bayckwords.
  5. Yeah i saw it on the net. But people mostly on the net including myself were introduced the censored version beforehand. But don't worry this review is for the censored version. I would have rated the animation with a 9.2/10 for the uncensored version.
  6. One of the anime hypes in 2014 was a show called "tokyo ghoul" a dark fantasy story set in japan. It's an anime that makes the watchers shout YES and fall off their chairs. My name is bilguun alix and today i'm going to review TOKYO GHOUL. Plot In an alternate version of Tokyo Mysterious creatures called Ghouls are devouring humans. Our main protagonist Kaneki encounters a beautiful girl named Rize but soon turns out that the girl was not actually human but a ghoul and she tries to eat him. However due to an accident he got saved but is extremely wounded. After recovering, Kaneki discovers that somehow he underwent a surgery that transformed him into a half-ghoul which means he must consume human flesh to survive. He is then taken in by the ghouls who manage the coffee shop "Anteiku", who teach him to deal with his new life. Now a plot of any dark fantasy anime is determined by how well the story world is shown as well is what over arcing storyline is trying to accomplish. In my opinion the world of ghouls is researched poorly. There are so many questions such as: why can they drink nothing but coffee? Since when did ghouls actually appear? Also the story it self just happens to be going on it’s own without any goal until the end. Things just happen and Kaneki just seems to be the part of it. And at times things seems to be a bit too rushed and unbalanced. They were like “Screw the logic we need more fighting”. And the show never actually gave us a solid ending. Now I’m not an idiot, I clearly know that the second season is going to start soon enough. But the first season should have stand on it’s own but it seems rather a kick starter for the second season. 6.4/10 Characters Now the sad part of this show is that the villains are one dimensional. The crazy old man from the “We hunt your ghouls” company a.k.a doves, Rize, Jason, Tsukiyama the hyperactive ghouls, they don’t have a redeeming quality other than being crazy and well…gay. As for the less crazy ones there are a few good characters that I want to point out. When I first saw kaneki I thought he was just some typical teenager with a typical bitchiness but my thoughts were changed Literally 180 degrees at episode 11 and 12. I just didn’t realize how deep he was until then. Another character I liked was Touka who is badass but also a kind person. I wish the show developed her more. Also there is Amon who is badass as well. And we saw some development in him as well as his back story of how he become one of the doves. He might be the best character of this series and I hope he will show up more in the second season. Overall I do think the show could have shown more back story especially for the villains cause from what I heard things were very different in the manga. And I wish Tsukiyama too would get a less crazy side because he was FUCKING ANNOYING. 5.5/10 Animation One of the Good sides of Tokyo ghoul is that it has rather dark but wonderful art style. The kagunes truly look amazing and the fighting scenes are very well drawn without any laziness The animation from the final episode was absolutely terrific and I wish that the fighting scene was bit long. But however there is a problem with the censorship. Tokyo ghoul of course have a lot of bloody moments but the censoring company went over board and censored everything from blood to a… harmless leg. It’s as if they are just trying to censor everything they see. 9/10 Sound The opening song for Tokyo ghoul was… how should I put it… EPIC. The song matched the show almost perfectly showing us what ghouls think of themselves and what they feel. And it was an amazing mix of guitar.piano, drum and violin. When I watched the whole series I NEVER skipped the opening song and that tells something. As for the soundtrack there were some good music during the fight scenes but not much in non action scenes. 9.2/10 Personal points To tell you the truth I really enjoyed watching this anime. Is it interesting?- yes, is it addictive?-yes, is it enjoyable?-yes. It was truly a great experience and I never got bored watching an episode. However aside from badass battles and spectacular opening theme the show does have a lot of flaws and you probably won’t be seeing any paced character developments. But regardless it was a great anime and I am currently waiting the second season so I could jump into action once again 8.3/10 So with Plot, character, animation, sound and my personal enjoyment 6.4 + 5.5 + 9 + 9.2 + 8.3 /5 MY FINAL RATING: 7.68/10 Watch it if you like: greatly animated fights, Gore. And don’t watch it if you hate: gore, want more intellectual experience, soild ending.
  7. Amazing. I love games like zero escape. And i am really glad that you guys understand and decided to give funding for it. 50 of the money is actually fitting. PEOPLE Don't complain about it, after all games do not make themselves. But i don't know if this kind of money making is possible. However will help as many ways as i can. Wish you a good luck.
  8. A lot of you must have watched death note and some of you may or may note be satisfied with the ending. The show asks us a question. "is killing bad people good or bad?" "is changing the society through law is impossible or possible?" And who did you vote for? KIRA or L,M,N. For myself when i first watched this anime i actually was a kira fan. The things he did have very good effect and i've also thought that a little bit of punishment would tighten the law. But after watching the anime over and over again. I become quite confused. Light wanted to create a new world, but that was his secondary objective. His main objective was to HAVE FUN. Then can we really say he is the guy of justice? Wouldn't it be better if we tried to change the world using the right ways to do so? This thought made me switch from Kira's to L's side. Now i don't want a rage battle between L and KIRA worshipers, i just wanted to know what you guys think. That is all.
  9. L's theme is badass. One of the reasons i love death note is that it has amazing soundtracks. And i also have to mention Near's theme too. IT'S BEAST.
