Figured you might get a kick out of this vid, I'm a fan of the guys style of analysis.

(Goes to crack his fingers - remembers too late that two just recently healed from being broken)

*Glances through some threads*

Nope, still a minefield out there , think I'll go play Trials of Cold Steel~

"Final Fantasy: Justin Bieber edition"

"and they did make an 'offer' to give us a grossly inadequate sum of money to hand over everything we've done and walk away, after being told at the very beginning that doing so was completely out of the question." -Aroduc
You know, I've always wonder if FanTLs were being under-compensated - and while the value of a TL project is ultimately up to the one working on it, I see at least my suspicions are not utterly groundless. Wonder how many take the offer out of pure ignorance/just felt intimidated?

(don't mind me, this is my new way to vent without actually starting shit with people)

Belated happy new year, man! Have seen you around here or on Twitter from long while, hope you're doing alright out there~
Wishing you the best

Bleh, I need a button that let's me turn off my higher thought processes.
Overthinking sucks.

I must lack a sense of humor. I find it a turn-off, and refuse to purchase games with titles such as "funbag fantasy" or, "please bang my wife".
I'm sorry, I realize it's cute and gets a giggle, but it's also really sad. It's like.... self mockery? It comes across as mocking the very work in question (even if it deserves it, that should be the job of the consumer, not the publisher)
Plus, it just sounds stupid and embarrassing "So, I just finished reading "Please bang my wife"". said no one ever.

I'm done with Fuwa for a while, place is getting toxic - at least the threads I happen to read Some people are just antagonistic by nature, and I'm really close to snapping at them, if I'm not already on their ignore list.
If you need me, or just wanna shoot the breeze, catch me on Twitter~
-
aye almost the same for me, feels like 95% of all recent threads/topics are only about enabling circlejerking or they are most pointless to begin with aka those zillions of favourite/worst novel threads. not to mention some dudes and gals non being capable of contributing sth in a constructive manner. twitter is by no means the holy grail, but at least it gives one the possibility of blocking those unwanted, btw. the variety fuwa starts lacking by now is still a little more present.
anyway dont let it get to you, you are you, and that´s what counts.

looking forward to the eventual release of the 18+ version of Grisaia (3rd chap) - then my kickstarter investment will have paid off and I can unfollow SP/Denpa, which can only seem to acquire lowbudget stuff, or sucker Fan TL teams into selling their efforts for faaar less than they are worth.
People like to say the VN scene is booming - but it isn't, it reeeally isn't. It's basically an echo chamber of indie devs stroking each other off, trying to convince themselves their work is successful and relevant. And SP encourages that mentality, which only breeds more lowbudget works, saturating the market further with fan-fiction level writing. If you think even half those "devs" have an education beyond highschool, you're sadly mistaken.
You can argue education is irrelevant- but I would counter that higher education tests a person on more than just knowledge - it tests self-discipline, professionalism, and dedication.
All the "bigger" stuff that SP has announced? I doubt we will see it within the next 5 - 10 years. Basically Jast 2.0. But who knows? Time will tell~ SP might just collapse in on itself and all those acquired projects will turn into a puff of smoke.
I'm just feeling cranky tonight So that's my random bitch for the time being.

Never been good at dealing with arrogant assholes - I tend to want to fight back on instinct.
Just gotta be the bigger man and walk it off, esp. because I'm almost 10 years older then the little prick.
-
Ok, I gotta say it - while I personally don't have any "real" issue with Sekai Project (at least not like some do), There are a handful of people that are clearly blatant shills when it comes to them - I don't know if they work for/work with - or hope to - but it's just embarrassing to read.
At least pretend you can have a unbiast stance, holy fuck. The world won't end by looking at something from another perspective beyond your masters' domain.
Everyone wants to either completely attack, or completely defend SP - me? I'll just sit in the middle and defend/attack when I see the need for either, using my functioning brain like a merc.

Playing Vampire the Masquerade: Bloondlines for the first time. HOW HAVE I NOT PLATED THIS UNTIL NOW??
This game is amazing, even if it is dated. Playing a Malkavien amd loving the quirks that go with it.

Sigh, kinda bored - wishing there was some new H-jrpg out and in english (something like Kamidori). In the mood for sexytime mixed with actual gameplay, but I've played everything that I know of that already meets that criteria. (Rance, bible black, little witch - even Kingdom, lol.)
Meh, maybe I'll just ditch the sexytime aspect and buy Andromeda or something~

somedays, you just want to light a box full of puppies on fire
(disclaimer, no puppies will be/have been harmed)

uuuuggghhh.... Ordered "The big breakfast" this morning (2 eggs, 2 slices of ham, 4 strips of bacon, 2 sausages, Hashbrowns, and toast), and had the bright idea I could also handle an order of hotcakes (3 giant ones at that)...
I've always been a underweight guy - but holy hell I think I just grew another foot in all directions
never again~

While the article is six months old - it's good to keep tabs on serious events from time to time.
People try to play it down, but it really is going to be a long-term, serious issue - that could make or break Japan as a country. If another severe earthquake were to hit Fukushima - no telling just what the aftereffects would be. (though that's more just fearmongering on my part)
I can only pray that the increased random mid-life deaths in the last few years is unrelated.

Wizards 1st rule: "People are stupid." -Zeddicus
(Terry Goodkind series)
Man, haven't read that stuff in almost 15-20 years, I should see if I can get it on CD/digital

note to self, ahoge and ahegao are two very different things - boy did I ever learn that fast.

Gross. Pretty obnoxious for a April fools joke
