The only female that plays this game that I know on a personal level is my cousin because I was able to corrupt her into playing it.

On a more serious note though, most of the people that play the Hatsune Miku games are men in my experience. I wouldn't say that it's only for girls and women because it seems like it's marketed more towards the male audience. I mean.... Have you seen some of those outfits?
Of course, females and other genders like to play games just like any other person that calls themselves a gamer. Gaming is for ALL genders.

Yeah. If you ask a Mod nicely, you might be able to recover your old account.
Kaguya tried to help me recover my 2013 account, but we came to the conclusion that it got deleted when Fuwa did frequent rollbacks.

JLPT is short for Japanese Language Proficiency Test. It has 5 levels, starting with the easiest at N5 and going up to the hardest N1.
You can think of it as the European A1-C2 levels if you wish. The only difference here is that JLPT is about literacy more than anything and it has predetermined kanji and vocabulary for each level (you can see the list here here) whereas the European levels are a more broad evaluation of your skills in all the fields.

I recommend the list that Clephas made, if you're OK with it being an eroge.

JRPG has a ton of vocabulary you can learn and is completely free. Mechanics are simple: destroy monsters by typing the readings of the kanji/word above their head. However, once the game determines you've learned a word, it won't show you the reading again, thus forcing you to remember. Each area has harder and harder kanji, up to JLPT N1.
I have fun playing it when I'm bored.

Okay, well, playing some untranslated VNs might help, so I'll list those too.
If I were to recommend something like DC3 it'd be:
Grisaia no Kajitsu (Must play for anyone.) Osananajimi no Daitouryou (More or less a guilty pleasure of my own.) Suzumiya Haruhi no Tsuisou (Played on PSP and I loved it because Yuki is bae.) Sumaga (Not sure how the community feels about it, but I liked it. English TL soon by TLWiki + JAST USA.) Sumaga Special (My favorite out of the two.) Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai! (Liked it, but never played the second game.) Katawa Shoujo (Let the  rain because I suggested a non-Japanese VN.) Angel Beats! (Kaguya Approved!) Kurano-kunichi no Futago Jijou (Surprisingly good for a nukige IMO. Also, it's Flutterz Approved!) Subarashiki Hibi ~Furenzoku Sonzai~ (Obligatory Sca-JI recommendation, courtesy of Ayana. Ayana Approved! Warning: Futanari) Tsui no Sora (Alternate version of SubaHibi. I played this out of curiosity and liked it. Ayana Approval Pending! Warning: Futanari) Rewrite (It's meh, but it IS in English for PC. PSP and PS Vita, you're kinda fucked, frankly put.) Planetarian ~Chiisana Hoshi no Yume~ (Widely accepted as a must-play here on Fuwa.) Furifure (aka Free Friends. Give it a try, you might like the twist.) Deputopia (A Valkyria work that ISN'T entirely focused on assaulting women. It's a meh nukige, but it'll get you into chubby women.) Motto! Debutopia (A follow up game to 'Debutopia', but with more heroines. Warning: Chubby Fetishism) Your Diary + (I played the PSP version, but the PC version has H-scenes. Pseudo-moeblob artstyle?) School Days (Just don't lose your head. Enough said.) Summer Days (Alternate universe prequel to 'School Days', but better than it, IMO.) Shiny Days ('Summer Days' reboot with an added heroine, basically.) Island Days (A meh follow up to 'School Days', that is if you actually survive.   Only available on 3DS, but worth the pickup if cheap. VN+Tower Defense essentially.) Strip Battle Days 2 (No idea why it's called 2 when there isn't a first one. Fan-service galore. Alternate universe.) Cross Days (Stalled on this one, but it's an interactive movie, if you want to venture into that realm. Also, yes, there is h-scenes, even on the PSP version.) Cross+Channel (Thought it was meh, but it suits your criteria.) Maikuro ~Ore ga Watashi de Boku ga Atashi de~ (Body swap VN, but it's pretty nice.) X-Change Alternative 2 ~Kimi no Hitomi ni Utsuru no Kimi~ (^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^) That's all I have to recommend. Sorry, but I don't have a good recollection of the year that the games were made. Some are old, but some are new.
    Additional Recommendations:
Shuffle! (8/10. Beings from other dimensions. Must-play.) Really? Really! (Sequel to 'Shuffle!' No idea why it's Japanese name is 'リアリ? リアリ!', I personally think it should just be 'ほんとに?ほんとに!'
I'm not sure how much of the community would agree with my recommendations, but these are just my personal tastes. Feel free to take my two cents with a grain of  .

D.S. -Dal Segno- (From the same company, it's in a island with some cheap magical powers like DaCapo and is pretty easy to read).
Amairo * Islenauts (Through i rate this as the worst recent Yuzusoft title, it's again a flying island with cheap magical events, but with much more focus on moe).
Koiiro Soramoyou and Minamijuujisei Renka (Novels from the time that Studio Ryokucha remembers how to make a good charage, easy difficulty level and a good cast of characters).
Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai and Fortune Arterial (Charages with supernatural plots, high productions values, but somehow August shit the bed in the ends and the stucture of Daitoshokan is pretty weird).
I tried only recommend easy titles to read so a beginner will not have much difficult reading these with some assistance.

Perhaps my recommendations here were not quite similar to Da Capo 3, but if you want translated one I could recommend Noble Works and Koiken Otome there. Or maybe you could try Dracu Riot and Koichoco as well. Hope it'll be help

I've watched waaaay too much Jim Sterling lets plays. When I saw the title of the thread I thought Steam threw up an asset flip in which you play as a white trash neo-nazi shooting up anyone that showed too much diversity and this was going to be discussion on whether or not such a thing was acceptable.
I suppose my favorite FPS would be either Bioshock or Bioshock Infinite cause fuck playing with human beings.

Rose Guns Days for a big one. Story starts off right from the first line, never slows down too much.
Also all of nitroplus' short stories. Saya no Uta, Kikokugai, Hanachirasu, Phenomeno. Those are even better, though they're a lot shorter (all of them can be completed in 1 to 5 hours)

Read the WN. Rem is without doubt the "main character" of arc 3, but Emilia certainly took back the main heroine spot on arc 4 and 5. Her character got more developed later on. Well, I still love both of them, though.
And about alternate ending; there is actually one where Subaru eloped with Rem on that one scene. Again, just check out the WN - the author actually wrote one. It's very heartwarming, and Rem certainly attained her well-deserved happiness.

No, no, no. I'm talking pre-production of Clannad. Yukine was intended to have a romantic route with Tomoya, but it was convoluted and confusing so it was dropped in favor of the gang and family sub-route instead. Which I would have preferred having a romance route with Yukine because she is best gril in Clannad. Out of the main heroines though, I'd have to say my favorite route is Kotomi.

Well, other than Clannad (which I haven't finished btw, but saw the anime) we also have Little Busters, which also has a pretty shitty ending. It feels like Maeda just doesn't know how to end his stories. Well, recently I started to get a feeling that he doesn't even know how to write a proper story, without fully relying on 'feels'.
