  1. Being Russian myself, I must say I'm curious about it. I think I'll check it out.
  2. Try these ones: Canvas 2 - Housen Elis Kazoku Keikaku - Takayashiki Matsuri Kono Oozora ni Tsubasa wo Hirogete - Habane Kotori Osananajimi wa Daitouryou: My girlfriend is the President - Ezekiel
  3. Thank you, mate. My intro actually reflects some of my thoughts about the actual "reality", if by "reality" you mean the world outside of PC. Perhaps I haven't told many people about my views, mainly because I don't like answering the questions no one's asking, but as I said - these are my honest thoughts. And don't worry, you didn't sound mean at all. Honesty is a great thing. I think I got what you're saying. You've got that right, I do enjoy some "heavy thinking". Philosophy, society, relationships, that kind of things. So thanks for the suggestions, I'm going to check them out once I'm finished with the VN I'm currently reading. I'll check it out, thanks. Thanks! I'm already enjoying my stay here!
  4. Hi from newbie to newbie. Welcome and enjoy your stay. Your English's pretty good, so don't worry about it.
  5. I'll let you know when I need a servant. But I'm not planning to have any for at least 50 years from now. Thanks for the welcome!
  6. That's not a problem. I realized that a key to every learning is good motivation and the lack of stress. The latter usually shows up after forcing yourself to study more than you can, leading to the decrease of the former. At least, that's what happened to many times already. That's why I'm studying slowly but steadily. I'll finish Kana first, then see about grammar and Kanji afterwards. I'll keep RtK in mind. Thanks for the suggestion.
  7. What makes any soundtrack great? It has to be related to the context of the video. Depending on the context of it, instruments and voice and vary. Heavy metal riffs wouldn't go well a video about romantic high school relationship. On the contrary, a gentle melody on piano would do just fine. I'm not sure in the selection of the instruments you should use for one or other genre, but generally it's better to have slower, gentler music in the context of love and other passionate feelings, while it's better to accompany some action with some energetic music. It doesn't have to be heavy metal, it can be a mix of techno and dance. As for the structure of the song, it has to be as simpler as possible. An intro, a "main" part and a conclusion work the best. I'm not sure how do they actually trigger emotions, but if I had to guess I'd say that some audio frequencies combined with proper video content make your brain react in a pleasant manner, making you feel full of energy or anxious. It's just a guess.
  8. Is the topic still active? The thread's definitely interesting. I've started learning Japanese not so long ago myself and I decided to start with Hiragana, which I was done with in a week or so. I was planning to learn Katakana after that, and then gradually learn Kanji while learning new words and phrases. But if that's not the most efficient way of learning it, I'd be glad to change it.
  9. I see. Makes sense. Thanks, captain! I'll check for it later, don't feel like discussing metal at the moment.
  10. Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm afraid I haven't read as much as you think I have. I've only finished two visual novels, and I can't say I've read many books in my life. But I'd be happy to discuss whatever you feel like discussing. I doubt I'll be able to keep up with all the stuff here, the forum's rather large. But I'll probably be online quite often. I'm planning to be. I hope so too. Thanks again. Rather than enjoying my labels, I'd say I prefer to put them on me myself before the others start putting them on me. It doesn't always help, but it sometimes it does, so it's worth a try. Thanks, I hope so too. See ya. Thanks! Where can I get a drink? I don't think you should welcome me if you don't feel like it. Thanks! That's great. Seriously. Rather than following the general flow you expressed your honest opinion. There aren't many people on the Internet like you nowadays. At least, I haven't seen many. Perhaps we will, perhaps we won't. To make a forecast now without knowing anything about each other would be dumb. Anyways, thanks. I'll do my best. Maybe. What is it you might ask? Hi there. I'm not sure what made you all like it, but I'm glad I was able to put some of you in a better mood. Thanks for the bombardment.
  11. Hi and thanks. Thanks! Probably Grisaia no Kajitsu. Thanks! We'll see about that. Thanks, mate! I guess that's natural for someone who's never heard of the terms. In short, a determinist is someone who believes that any event that ever happened is predetermined. It can only occur the way it occurs. This goes for the human choices as well. As for the moral nihilists, these are people who think that nothing is intrinsically right or wrong. They are just concepts created by man. I like some of the symphonic metal as well, especially Nightwish and Epica. As for the instrumental metal, I'm not aware of many bands playing it myself. I love Animals as Leaders, and the instrumental album of Periphery sounds great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmfzWpp0hMc You're welcome and thanks again!
