Nope, no need to do that. It's not a sequel or something like that.
The plus side for new player is, you still don't know the ending yet (duh), which is not the same with people who play P5 before, even with P5R new ending.

On the side note, almost half of my FL filled with Maou Nobu, lucky them. I'm not rolling for the banner tho, saving my sq for the next summer event (rumors said okita summer will appear this year)

Hmm...I've been wondering, what you guys prefer (or more lucky) for gacha pulls, one roll or ten roll? Since the rate is the same.
In my case, my ssr comes from 10 roll, while 1 roll (as far as I remember) got me only Jalter last year.
