I've always enjoyed the basic text emoticon, but I have yet to find one that is visually pleasing in the same way.

There ain't enough Christmas round these parts. The most Christmasy thing I've seen is that background of the main page that I fear shall crash my browser.
 
Therefore, it's time to get into the Christmas mood (if you know what I mean (I actually mean Christmas mood (how could that even be construed as sexual; I even said "Christmas" (jeez, y'all gotta get your minds out of the gutter)))) with some Santa hats!

Note that:
If your avatar is a gif, it'll obviously be a lot harder to edit, so I'll have to be in a good mood. If you write me a poem about penguins in iambic tetrameter, however, I'll definitely do it. If you want another Santa hat that isn't in the image above (because you don't think my Google image clipart is good enough, you persnicketer), then feel free to post it. I'll have to do editing and stuff, though, so I'd prefer that you choose from the above list. Santa hats don't exactly go perfectly with all avatars, usually because whatever person or thing the avatar contains is too close to the top. For example, see that the hat in mine is slightly cut off. I'll still do my best, however. Don't worry about saving your avatars. I'll save all of your original avatars and then post them another topic after Christmas, assuming that I don't hold them hostage in order to make you swear the pledge to the Oxford comma.

-disregards life in order to obtain even more S;G-related feels- I find it amazing how everything took such a dark turn in episode 3. Once the semester break comes I'll finally be able to finish the rest of episode 4 and catch up completely on top of that~!

Katawa Shoujo's OST is my favorite by far out of the VNs I have played. In fact, it is one of my favorite works in general. I listen to it all the time and not only does it soothe me, but it fills me with similar emotions to when I played KS... Idk if it makes me want to dance, cry, or fall in love... or some combination of the three :3

Based on a true story? Wow! I've begun reading the first few chapters and I'm already thoroughly enjoying it. I love the character names. They're great! I'm also liking the free-hand art style the artist has.

...Ah, yes, the four scenes in a row in Touko's route were excellently spaced. This is the game where I learned my limit on the number of h-scenes I can take in a row. It is, believe it or not, four. Especially if one is a rape scene. I also figured out a pet peeve of mine, which is having consensual sex right after noncon stuff. Again, who knew?

Hmm, that's odd. I have the exact same screenshot in my KS folder.



Oh and don't worry, it's not like I like Lilly or anything. I just accidentally clicked the screenshot button a lot of times when she was just so happen on the screen. Yep, not at all.

Obligatory addition to the thread: through Ayakashibito thus far, I've really enjoyed how unmanly Soushichi is in the conventional sense. Often times in otaku media the protag has unheard of intellect or some other crazy trait and they seem to "strong-arm" the heroine of choice into falling for them in the odd chance she didn't fall for him simply because he's nice (ugh). Soushichi readily accepts his weaknesses and is conscientious of his actions. His character is human. I can relate to his thoughts and feelings much better than the superhuman protags that somehow pass off as "normal people."
 
I've already spoiled the end of S3 of Legend of Korra for myself, for example, even though I'm stalled at around the halfway mark (not that the spoiler was very surprising).
 



 
Although Kyousuke fit into that "superhuman" protag category I mentioned above, I still thoroughly enjoyed his character. It was the moments that he was the weakest that made me respond the most to his character. While bad end Kyousuke always turned out to be a huge prick, he'd always let his softer side out near the end of routes otherwise. The comedic duo he formed with Haru was outstanding and Kyousuke x Mizuha was so cute I nearly hnnng'd to death.
