You should probably save a lot, that reduces headaches. I remember a moment during the last case, when I was ten minutes ahead of the script and therefore always used the wrong evidence, despite being right. And yeah, I was really pissed about that. I won't tell you if your concern is warranted or not, but that case is really good. Enjoy the read! Be wary of post-KS depression. Many people lost weeks worth of sleep after completing their favorite route(s).

I completed my third route in Grisaia no Kajitsu. So far, none could hold up to the writing of Makina's. I'm a bit upset, that neither Michiru nor Sachi go into Yuuji's character that much. I probably would not have understood a bunch of situations, references or remarks, if I hadn't read Makina's route before. Michiru's good epilogue was just the sweetest thing, though. I grinned like an idiot for atleast thirty minutes straight. Because of what I've read here on the board, I'm saving Amane for last and probably start with Yumiko either later today or tomorrow.

Can't argue with logic (or script reading?). The CG-, Gallery- and Bustshot- modes rank the girls as follows: Mare, Asuho, Komomo, Kosame, Isuzu, Chinami and ****. It's safe to assume, that this chain will serve as the tiebreaker. I don't know why I care so much about this entire thing, but I'm satisfied now. Thanks for putting up with my pointless curiosity.

If you encounter further or other crashes, don't re-download the game twenty times (like I did). Instead, just restart your PC. That might sound weird, but it works for some reason. I still have a lot of problems with error messages (especially while I'm skipping) and rebooting somehow helps. I don't know if that is a common problem, but I thought it can't hurt to leave a post. Just in case.

The pacing of Shizune's route is really slow and the big stretches of nothingness are a bit too long for some people to enjoy. (I asked myself if the relationship was still going on or not at some point, because nothing happens for a really long time.) I still enjoyed the read, but the script couldn't hold up to the other routes. The same goes for her character; I do like Shizune, but not as much as the other four girls.

Well, think about someone like Phoenix Wright. I highly doubt the Ace Attorney series would've been as successful, if Mr. Wright had a normal haircut and his grade school backstory didn't exist. I also highly doubt Trials and Tribulations would've hit home that well without his college past. Phoenix Wright feels like a real person to the audience and his human character connects you to the plot and it's protagonist. That is enough for millions of fans to immerse themselves into his character, even though he is not the same person as you. Immersion can be achieved through different means and in no way is your view on it wrong. It's just different.
