I didn't really plan on announcing this so early in time, but after discussing it with my team, we've decided that there's hardly any point in keeping it a secret seeing as how far things have progressed by now. Quite on the contrary, it may even waste time of others who could possibly decide to work on this title. It is also for that we can use the chance to fill the last 1-2 team slots.   Anyhow, that's enough with the foreword. As the title already implies, our team is going to pick up Irotoridori no Sekai. This is not some sort of spontaneous decision, but has been in planning for quite a while. Actually, I've been wanting to translate IroSeka even before I read SakuSaku. The reason I didn't is simply because I wanted to accumulate a game's worth of experience before I tackled this one so that the best possible translation is achieved.   This project will have no impact on the SakuSaku progress whatsoever, all time I'm going to put into this - albeit it won't be all that much until I'm done with SakuSaku - is going to be extra time taken from my free time. SakuSaku translation is estimated to finish within the next two months.   As is customary, I'll start posting weekly updates once I finish SakuSaku Translation. I'll put up a project page as soon as I find the time to do some custom design and stuff.   Game Info

Hmm ok, but let's not start talking about legal aspects here, I had a lot of these discussions on other forums already...
 
Btw, I counted about half of the lines. Alice's route seems to be the shortest with about 10k, Natsuha's has 11.5k and Sumi's even more but I have not counted it completely yet.
I will update the original post with a status table when I have all the lines. If anyone else would help with the translation this would be appreciated, it is really a lot.

By "typical community standards", we're all pedophiles.  Popular eroge are typically what you'd call "teen dramas" with hardcore pornography as dessert.  Those flat-chested characters?  They're children.  Those big eyes and high-pitched voices?  Clearly depictions of children.  Unless all you play are games like Starless, you're as guilty as the rest of the us--it's only a matter of degree.

Description:
This is the sequel to Monobeno, with after stories for Sumi, Alice, Natsuha, and a pre-story for Hishakaku. It also rewrites parts of Sumi and Alice’s route which seem like bad ends for Natsuha, and adds a toggle for certain CGs. Upon players’ requests, the H scenes are more numerous and intense.

Monobeno original Story:
Sawai Tooru and his younger sister Natsuha venture back to their rural home town Monobeno – their first visit in six years. Here they reunite with their childhood friend Alice (a girl who labels herself as Tooru’s fiancee), and a Yamori Youkai in the form of a small child.

After their nostalgic reunion it was not long before the town readies itself for the night of Himemiya Ryuu Shichi Seisai. During the festival, the Monobeno’s ancient, ‘Face Dance’ was being performed when Natsuha suddenly collapsed and was rushed home. The next night, Natsuha’s body turned into that of an adult’s and her lower body bled for the first time. Tooru, fearing for his imouto’s life hastened in his search of a cure…

Senior Executive Fiddle estimates the release date to be 2/14/15 in celebration of Valentine's Day. The board iterates that this date is in the past, citing incidentally that he sucks at estimating things, but his optimism only increases.
 
Results are conclusively inconclusive.

The first patch technically works, but it uses pretty much raw MoeNovel translation, which is absolutely awful. You can read it if you don't mind nonsensical lines, out-of-context BS, killed jokes, occasional gibberish and such.
But if you'd prefer an actually translated version, I'd recommend tossing KonoSora on the shelf for a year or so and waiting for the Retranslation patch.

Oh boy Sachi ... and yes same for me : 18+ or no buy.

INTRODUCTION
Hi there! This was originally a thread titled "Alicesoft Titles - Translation Updates" that I made back in 2014. I initially dedicated this thread to monitoring the progress of well-known Alice Soft fan translation projects (FanTL) that were proliferating during the time. Fast forward almost 10 years later in 2023—the visual novel scene is more alive than it's ever been in international spaces with most titles being easily accessible in mainstream storefronts like Steam. A lot of titles have been picked up by numerous publishing companies, both old and new, and games previously thought to be in JP-only jail are now just one purchase away to read in English. Some even have multiple language options on release!
Alice Soft is one of many eroge companies that have decided to seek opportunities for sales in today's Western market. With around 40 years of experience being in the eroge market, it's no understatement to say that the company is one of the bigger names in the industry today. Their series that have long been loved by their Japanese audience are now being made available to a bigger international market that will experience their stories and fall in love with them as well. And hopefully, the number of these series will only continue to increase as the years pass by.
To sort of pay homage to this expansion, I thought it'd be better to turn this FanTL dedicated thread into one that neatly organizes both official and FanTL releases for Fuwanovel's users. May people someday stumble upon this thread and find their next game to obsess about in the numerous Alice Soft titles that are now available in English.
