  1. Try not to get too frustrated. It can be difficult at first, but later on you'll get used to it.
  2. Yoroshiku! Enjoy your stay.
  3. Words per minute (WPM) 132 Keystrokes 686 (660 | 26) Correct words 127 Wrong words 4 Annoying.. When I made a mistake, it screwed everything up for a bit.
  4. I nominate Steve again. I haven't even finished Chinami's route yet . How much progress did the last group get to?
  5. You likely lack the nodvd patch. You can try finding this patch online, or downloading a hexeditor and manually changing the hex fields necessary. The second one might be difficult without some hacking, since the english version likely has different fields to edit than the JP version.
  6. Yat the undying did not deserve his name, since after his reincarnation he quickly died once more.
  7. Oh well, no use worrying about that now because quests are for pansies who have nothing better to do.
  8. Good luck! Cheering for you and don't be afraid to ask for help. 頑張ってください!
  9. I watched the video, but couldn't really tell what the problem was. The game automatically tries to open in full screen mode I believe, and that may be causing an issue? Not really sure what's happening.
  10. Hm, I'm not sure why a Windows XP would have issues. Just DLed it on vista with no issues. Have you tried redownloading the game? Also regarding the menu, I took a look at it and it's quite simple. Arranged from Top to bottom: Start Gallery [Likely reserved spot for Extras] Game Config Exit ------------- In game config menu, Screen Settings | BGM Window | Fullscreen | Sound Effects Effects | Message Speed (Slow | Fast) On | Off Message Skip | Auto Message Speed (Slow | Fast) Read | All Master Volume | Message Window Opacity [Voice Options] In game bar... Quick Save Quick Load Save Load Game Config Skip Auto Mode Title End Game Hope that helps. Still trying to figure out why the message box would dissapear..... Bah formatting is super bad.... Oh well
  11. Hey guys, we're working on figuring out what's wrong with the text box. It's likely an error with the font, but we're not entirely sure what's causing it. If you guys could post information regarding OS type and your settings, that would help a lot. @lolicat If the menus are untranslated that means the translators chose not to translate them. You could try posting a screencap of the menu here, and someone may translate it, but it likely won't be put in to the game at this point. Edit: Just to make sure, are you running Hadaka_en instead of the normal .exe file?
  12. You could check the advanced power options (found by going to power options->change plan settings->advanced power options) and seeing if there is anything there to change. I actually have the same issue on one of my laptops that has several parts of it broken (and low RAM). I think the shutdown occurs when the maximum processor state is exceeded by whatever you're running. I can't say for sure this is how it works, but my guess is that Running programs -> temperature of laptop goes up while its working harder. Although can run the program when processor is at max output, when cooling policy kicks in and reduces maximum processor speed to prevent overheating, the computer shuts down since the new maximum processor speed is insufficient. If can't change settings in anyway, could try finding a way to reduce the amount of cooling needed(which means the cooling policy will not reduce your processor speed as much. The way I did it was to take out the back cover of the laptop, so the heat could escape. I can't really recommend that though)
  13. Does your laptop have a built in auto-shut down feature? Some laptops will automatically shut down when the temperature reaches a certain point, or for other reasons relating to the hardware.
  14. I can't read it clearly, but it seems to say: graph/main_windowのオーブンに失敗しました which means that graph/main_window has failed to open. Just to make sure, are you opening memoria_en? That's the english version. Also, I believe the graphs are also the image files, so are your files in any way corrupted?
  15. I'm still learning the language at the moment, but if you're super desperate and need someone to do something simple like translate menus or small parts of dialogue I can help with that. I'd avoid translating major parts though, as I constantly have to go back and fix things I've tried translating after I learn more of the language.
  16. Legendary thread. Good luck guys, I'll be cheering for you . Have no written out thoughts to contribute as of right now though.
  17. Seeding on torrents means that you are allowing your network's bandwidth to be used to help share the files with other people. After you finish torrenting, right click the torrent and select'open file location'. This will open the folder with the game. Then drag it to your desktop or something, and open reallive.exe in it to play the game.
  18. Oddly enough, I thought Steins;gate mechanic was brilliant. There is something magical about not knowing what the hell you are doing that borders on how we make choices in real life.
  19. All the big must mentions have been mentioned, but I thought I should point towards Steins;gate when you have time. I'm a science guy, so it was my favorite VN to read. Just a warning, don't talk to people about it before you finish it. It's very spoiler intensive (as all sci-fi is).
  20. I think you missed an s in your name :3, anyway, Hajimemashite Miku. As zoom mentioned, check out the teamspeak server. Zoom actually translated the miku novel, so you should talk more with him ;P.
  21. Granted, then the timer on a supernova that occurred 98,000,000 million years ago destroys this world. I wish I could read a visual novel in Japanese without a dictionary.
  22. I actually enjoyed the last episode quite a bit, until THE LAST 30 SECONDS. That was annoying.
