Another update, and this time we have 32 out of 37 script files for Yuzuki's route along with her 9 out of 10 sex scenes were translated. No much to say that at least we almost have all of Ginharu sex scenes translated, and that's all for the update.

TLDR: Biman2.5 will be translated by another TL group, the game will be a collab, I am the TLC and some remnants of our team are joining in. Nothing else will be mentioned until release unless we deem it as necessary collectively and progress will start soon. My next project(finally) will be Biman4.

Lets see, lets see... Another six-month break between posts. Wow I'm really attached to this place.
Ahem... Good day Granbluers, and Happy Holidays for all us. The best season of Blueland is already past us but I hope you guys are keeping the fun in this journey.
In my case I've returned to play in a regular basis. Not bad for someone that almost stopped.

For this recollection, firstly a image gallery of the main points and below then a more detailed approach:

    (Does someone took guesses?)

    1 ) Holiday Mahira:
A spark made at last year's Xmas day (with help of 190 free rolls); As expected, only 9 SSR; ...BUT got 4 new characters: H.Anthuria, H.Arulumaya, H.Metera and Shion; ...and another F* Zeus. 4th one.
    2 ) Fediel:
    19th bad spark at Shindala's release; A not welcome 13 SSR, with 10 Gold Moons; Only Fediel and Cidala are worth mentioning;
    3 ) Shitori and Pholia:
Two Perpetuity Rings for two waifus.
    4 ) Song and Sarasa:
    More Eternals trancendence, with Song at lv120 and Sarasa at lv130; Speaking of, Esser and Nio are both at lv130 too;
    5 ) Alliah:
Another spark, a hard decision between Kayano Alliah or Kayano Yuni; A pretty good 26 SSR haul, even with half being Gold Moons; Newcomers: Baal, Filene, S.Illnott, Lich, Emo Sandy; Curiously got Wilnas (Summon), and after Wilnas (Grand) with freebies.
    6 ) Caim:
    Pretty obvious right?
    7 ) Damascus Knife:
Self-explanatory. Got it as a birthday present; It's Fire element. Choose it because dagger classes are my favorites after Apsara. No, I don't have Gae Bulg.
    8 ) Dark Opus:
Just a shameful display of my incomplete Opus collection. 4/6 ULBs with shameless help of Ascendant Prayer and 8th Granblue anniversary gift.

My, my, what a write-up. I give myself a 4/10 points. Too long for nothing.
For anyone that still comes here... you too are attached to this place . I salute you.
See you again on Genshin Impact next post.

Kosakyun reacted to HataVNI in Venus Blood Gaia Localization Kickstarter ends today and achieves 5th stretch goal
After searching far and wide in the forum and being unable to find a post on Venus Blood Gaia Localization Project, I just decided to make my own. So apparently the third (or fourth?) kickstarter project by the famed eroge company @Ninetail has been announced, went through its funding phase with high success and will end today. The game is basically another of the Venus Blood Eroge, that have already met big success in the west before hand and still have a multitude of titles that are yet to be localized. So far there have been localized "Venus Blood Frontier", "Venus Blood HOLLOW" (which was originally Hypno) and now Venus Blood Gaia.
VenusBlood GAIA English Localization Project by Ninetail — Kickstarter

Here is the kicker. Unfortunately, I'm too stupid for these games. I tried Venus Blood Frontier Intl with the base tutorial and I never got along with the mechanics and succumbed to the damage taken when using a night unit in broad daylight and vice versa. Unfortunately S-RPGs that are more complicated than Kamidori or Eiyu Senki GOLD seem simply not be made for me. But there are surely a ton of ppl who love this game series, given the incredible response that each of the kickstarter projects have gotten.

If you guys are interested in taking a look at this game and read a review that goes indepth into its mechanics before it is released, then I recommend you the old 2015 review by user @sanahtlig. The same applies to other games of the series.

Venus Blood Gaia: Taking strategy eroge to the next level (non-adult mirror) - Sanahtlig's Corner - Fuwanovel Forums

I hope everyone who acquires this game will enjoy it. The variety of characters is impeccable and due to the stretch goals they consistently meet there is also bonus content, that the original JP version did not have back in the day.

Kosakyun reacted to MadTRJR in Looking for staff to help translate, and edit Yosuga no Sora/Haruka na Sora. Plus other misc. roles. (Update Nov/16. Progress made. Need translators still)
To those who have followed us in the past, the project has been pretty silent for awhile, I know. Truth is we have been making massive progress behind the scenes and just haven't been updating the blog. There will be an absolutely massive release by the end of the year, with lots of progress. But we still need help! You could even help just by letting others know! Maybe you have a friend who is a translator?
Haruka na Sora is mostly translated, with Yahiro and Sora's route on pace to be done within a month. Kozue (Class Rep) just started work, but we might need someone else to TL her. She's much nicer in the VN I swear! Yosuga no Sora is already 'translated' but we need to double check the translation of Nao and Akira (yes Akira again. The first TLC ended up being sloppy). We have someone for Nao, but we do need someone for Akira, who is the 2nd most popular girl! We also need a Translation check for the nearly finished Yahiro's route (Sora is fine, and we'll skip straight to the editing phase).
There is also this fan VN we are gonna work on, called Haruka no Yosuga. It's a Yaoi VN about trap Haru . We could use a translator for that. It's relatively small as it's fan made, but it has very high production value (might as well have been made by Sphere lol).
Then there are various misc. roles. Including some non-VN stuff (we have expanded the scope of the project to just 'translate everything Yosuga no Sora related'.). And oh boy have we found a treasure trove of YnS content to work on. It's all doable even with just our current staff, but we definitely want to speed up the release.
There's also some non-English YnS projects we have partnered up with, if you wanna hear about them. They're the real deal and all of them have made pretty big progress. So even if you can't help with the English project, there are other languages that could use your help.
If all of that doesn't sound like jobs for you, we also are just looking for people to help us spruce of the YnS community (we have the wiki, the subreddit and the discord server).
    Our subreddit
Our discord server (this is also where we host the patch. HnS patch will be publicly available very very soon).
Lemme know if you wanna help out! Or want more info. There's a lot I left out.

    Greetings fellow creatives,

If anyone is interested, I was recently asked to do an interview for a website called Exilian. Hopefully my answers were entertaining and (somewhat) intelligent…lol. Here’s a link if anyone wants to check it out:

That said, this week’s cool new textures are on the following pages:

    TXR – BRICK - Seamless
    Some really interesting brick textures.
    https://soundimage.org/txr-brick-seamless/

    TXR – ROCK/STONE – Seamless
Some new stone textures that could be used for old roads, paths, castles, etc. Some have grass between the stones, too.

More music is on its way as well as some cool new city ambient sounds.

    Keep being creative!

Yeah, but like masturbation, it can get out of hand. I really ought to get back to my studies, buuuut I still have energy left. And golden apples.
    ....fuck.
Never watched I-Can't-Believe-It's-Not-Evangelion. Mako's square in the I-don't-give-a-fuck camp. Card games on motorcycles was fucking dumb. The show was leagues better than the movies purely on the virtue of not having the worst CGI I've seen since Digimon. I thought that Your Name was consistently good and handled the tone shift well, while the emotional payoff at the end of A Silent Voice felt badly executed to me. I love Ueno, from her design to her personality, and Kawai's a total hypocrite. I don't have an opinion on the loli stuff, though I would love to see a study about whether attraction to different archetypes of lolis (i.e. age groups) correspond to attraction different archetypes of child ages, to see if it's the same or maybe a sort of "all pedos like lolis, but not all who like lolis are pedos". Absolutely Mirai Nikki and Elfen Lied are shallow garbage, especially the latter, with all style and no substance. The entirety of SAO S1 is hot garbage outside of the animation and soundtrack, and people are way too fucking lenient on the pre-Alfheim arc, which is also utter shit. IIRC, Clannad keeps developing Nagisa, her relationship with Tomoya, or Tomoya's feelings towards Nagisa during every single arc, so while it's a sort of mish-mash, it knows where its going.  I can't remember anything from Angel Beats! except the monster-whatever band's good songs and the last scene of the singer, the blonde guy falling backwards out a window, and the part of the ending that completely ruined the scene for me, which was the fact that for whatever fucking reason the girl ended up in the afterlife way before the MC despite dying a good while later. Both Near and Mello can go eat a bag of dicks, and Light did not deserve to lose because someone under him fucked up. I did find Cowboy Bebop dull, dreary and uninteresting, but I can't remember Spike at all, so I dunno about him, though I did like Edward. I just made up the shit about Code Geass up, because though I do think it's a little ridiculous that everything just wraps up all fine and dandy after the ending, I can't remember the show well enough to know how it dealt with idealism generally.
All anime are cartoons, but not all cartoons are anime.

Kosakyun reacted to Fred the Barber in Western Visual Novel Publishers Often Release Games at a Loss Due to Piracy (ft. words from CEO of Sol Press, Xeviax)
You folks are talking about a mass move by Japanese VN developers toward mobage like it's a hypothetical, but from what I understand, it's pretty much a fait accompli. A large number of VN developers have already tried (and/or are currently trying) their hand at mobage. You just haven't heard much about it here since they've all have failed miserably thus far, aside from Type-Moon. So it's a bit late to be worried about that coming to suck away the attention paid to VNs—we're already in that boat.
To bring this somewhat back on topic... VN loc companies are similarly looking all around for ways to stay/become profitable. There are only two real strategies I've seen almost all of them employing, at this point: China, and console releases. For China: if you have a license for a worldwide release, why not sell to a market that actually has consistently shown they're willing to pay for VNs, enough to fund a localization effort? It's certainly profitable. For console: Switch ports seem to be profitable, maybe? Though I don't have as clear a picture on that, and there aren't a lot of data points yet. But you can look at lackluster games like Root Letter getting huge sales numbers on consoles and realize, oh yeah, there's probably something there if you play your cards right.
Now, neither of those is going to do the vast majority of people on this board much good, since we're mostly 1) not Chinese readers and 2) looking for 18+ content. As long as English 18+ release sales remain low (for whatever reasons, including but not limited to high rates of piracy), the only hope most of us have is that the VN loc companies both expand in some way that lets them make money (China, console, and/or some other means) and continue to subsidize English versions with 18+ content from those profits out of pure passion for it. That is effectively what they're doing today. Denpasoft, JAST USA, and Nekonyan are all on the China boat (Nekonyan through the Hikari Field partnership), leaving only MangaGamer in the lurch. Denpasoft and MangaGamer, at least, are both doing the non-PC thing, though MangaGamer is taking a galaxy-brain approach where they vomited up a buggy android app and then promptly forgot about it. I'd say if MangaGamer doesn't get in on the Chinese market in some way within the next year or so, I'll eat my hat, except they're so slow-moving that maybe they'll just keep trickling away dollars forever...
Anyway, subsidizing 18+ English releases like this is honestly both risky (all kinds of legal exposure they could easily avoid by just, not doing it) and bad business (because it's throwing away money with no hope of return), but all these companies are doing it anyway. And yet somehow a lot of the vocal members of the VN community treat all of them as some evil enemy, most of the time. Sigh.

Either way, I think thinking about the perpetrator's motives is ultimately irrelevant. Whatever it was, it doesn't justify what they did to the studio, nor to the families that are grieving for the loss of their loved ones. Useless to talk about it, and pretty insulting to those that have died.
Prayers out for those suffering from loss.
If you ever want to help them monetarily too, you can opt to buy from their online shop instead so that they directly receive the money. It would be helpful if you buy products that do not need packaging as well to not burden their employees with the work. This guy lays out the process for doing it.

Some people are saying stuff like "no because high school sucked / wasn't particularly meaningful", but isn't that actually one of the main reasons it's such a popular setting on manga/anime/VNs? People who couldn't experience it fully get to live the student life through the characters in stories where those years are meaningful for them. And for those who are nostalgic for high school, it helps them relive it. I mean, this is one of the main reasons the high school setting is like, a cornerstone of anime.
Personally, I'm generally nostalgic, but mostly for life at that age in general, not just school. Like, being excited by tons of random stuff, hanging out with friends for days on their/my house, playing games 24/7, etc.

Ahahahahahaha, you're not wrong about that.
I recently graduated college, so I've began thinking that without classes and stuff, it feels really weird reading the stories of people who are supposedly "in the height of their youth" and stuff being in high school and stuff. Consuming stories like these makes me think back to my time in high school and makes me ask myself, "Why are their experiences so colorful and stuff when I just toiled over my 12 hour schedule and bulky assignments?" I sorta realized the answer to that at some point, but I find myself still wondering about that every now and then.
In a way, it makes me feel lonely and sorta sad that I didn't make as much of my time back then like what these people are doing in these stories. But the feelings don't stop there. If anything, loneliness that comes up from memories of high school almost always comes up with vague nostalgia for me, regardless of being able to directly relate with the events in the story or not. I guess it's because more than 'making use of my experiences to the highest extent', I've began to realize that at some point in time I've worked as hard as they have for a certain goal, bantered with my friends so much that it made my stomach hurt, and grieved over something that I deem trivial these days. And that makes me feel good even if just a little, knowing that at some point, I was also living my own kind of story to the utmost extent that I can manage to. The loneliness ceases to come from not being able to live life to the fullest, instead coming from a sort of yearning for those times that have passed.
But hey, I also use it as leverage to launch myself forward! If I haven't managed to do my best for the days that have already passed, then I'll do it for the coming days in the future! If I did live my days to the fullest ever since those times, then I'll continue doing so, even if the days currently feel stagnant! If it happened in the past, then I'm sure I can make it happen again. HS settings do make you yearn for those colorful experiences, but they also remind you that you can have those experiences, even as early as high school! Better late than never, you know!
I hope you find these stories to be ones that remind you of good memories as you gain more years on you.

In my case, I have a chronic disease (it's not life-threatening if taken the proper care, dun worry) so I couldn't go to school like, 50% of the time, and when I could go, I'd left sooner than everyone else, and because of so, I didn't have any friends at all, be it in or outside of school, so back at the time I'd wish that I could have friends and fun in school like the MC of the VNs I play.
But yeah, I did stop playing some VNs or watching school animes because I didn't want to feel sad, nowadays I don't really care that much, because for the reason that I didn't get to go to school that much, I can now see things differently of "normal people".
Although nowadays I still suffer a bit from the disease, my health is much better, I changed the things I eat and joined a Gym, I'm aiming to become a Chef btw.
