  1. I like my tomatoes cooked too. I can be your waifu. Which also reminds me. I like my steaks well-done.
  2. Summer Part 1 banner in FGO NA has been nice to me. For the event, pretty fun. I find myself growing to like Helena more in every damn scene she appears in. It's so dangerous when they feature characters in events because it's hard to not end up liking them by the end, especially if they're part of your party for the duration of the story. Agh. Thank god for all-Berserker enemy nodes. Easiest to farm.
  3. Pretty much this! Not just the good things though. First heartbreaks, first failures, and other 'firsts' come into mind and make you treasure those memories even more.
  4. Either way, I think thinking about the perpetrator's motives is ultimately irrelevant. Whatever it was, it doesn't justify what they did to the studio, nor to the families that are grieving for the loss of their loved ones. Useless to talk about it, and pretty insulting to those that have died. Prayers out for those suffering from loss. If you ever want to help them monetarily too, you can opt to buy from their online shop instead so that they directly receive the money. It would be helpful if you buy products that do not need packaging as well to not burden their employees with the work. This guy lays out the process for doing it.
  5. Ahahahahahaha, you're not wrong about that. I recently graduated college, so I've began thinking that without classes and stuff, it feels really weird reading the stories of people who are supposedly "in the height of their youth" and stuff being in high school and stuff. Consuming stories like these makes me think back to my time in high school and makes me ask myself, "Why are their experiences so colorful and stuff when I just toiled over my 12 hour schedule and bulky assignments?" I sorta realized the answer to that at some point, but I find myself still wondering about that every now and then. In a way, it makes me feel lonely and sorta sad that I didn't make as much of my time back then like what these people are doing in these stories. But the feelings don't stop there. If anything, loneliness that comes up from memories of high school almost always comes up with vague nostalgia for me, regardless of being able to directly relate with the events in the story or not. I guess it's because more than 'making use of my experiences to the highest extent', I've began to realize that at some point in time I've worked as hard as they have for a certain goal, bantered with my friends so much that it made my stomach hurt, and grieved over something that I deem trivial these days. And that makes me feel good even if just a little, knowing that at some point, I was also living my own kind of story to the utmost extent that I can manage to. The loneliness ceases to come from not being able to live life to the fullest, instead coming from a sort of yearning for those times that have passed. But hey, I also use it as leverage to launch myself forward! If I haven't managed to do my best for the days that have already passed, then I'll do it for the coming days in the future! If I did live my days to the fullest ever since those times, then I'll continue doing so, even if the days currently feel stagnant! If it happened in the past, then I'm sure I can make it happen again. HS settings do make you yearn for those colorful experiences, but they also remind you that you can have those experiences, even as early as high school! Better late than never, you know! I hope you find these stories to be ones that remind you of good memories as you gain more years on you.
  6. Rolled the GSSR, got Proto Arthur. Well, at least he's new and limited! Did purely Tamamo-Kiyohime buildings last year, so I'll try doing the other two options for each project this year! It'll be fun looking at the end product for the islands, hehe.
  7. Started playing KoiChoco. Was initially interested in it because of how beautiful the art was, but was a bit weirded out with the combination of themes in its title. I've been reading for around three hours, so I haven't gone far enough to really get into depth with any of the story elements. Yaoi sticks.
  8. Ah yeah. Goddamnit I haven't gotten to reading that too. All these ghosts haunting me. What a scary time...
  9. I am pleasantly surprised considering this and the releases you're excited for. I don't remember you being invested in the series prior to my disappearance, so seeing you all giddy for these titles now is a damn good surprise. I'll take your word for it and try out Funbag Fantasy. You're a casual pleb that likes giving them money for cute SoL games, after all. As for the announcements, decently happy with them. Wish I could read more propeller works though. But with how you guys are talking about Tokyo Babel's performance.... ugh. Hopefully how the wind blows changes eventually. But yes, mostly excited about the Rance games! Getting a confirmation of the remake opens up the possibility of 03 getting a project, and honestly I've been wanting to play it ever since the release! Rance III is probably one of the settings I like better in the series, so to see it in all its glory as it fits in the current canon is gonna be a good treat! Also the scenes, I guess.
  10. YESSSSS IT ONLY TOOK ME A YEAR AND 185 ROLLS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH SHE'S FINALLY HOME!!!!! Yeah. That rogue Gudako sure was an accurate representation of the majority of players. I especially liked the responses we could give in the game. Really reminds me of Riyo's comics.
  11. Praise the Lord for more Rance announcements! I don't mind waiting (as long as it doesn't reach Sumaga levels of waiting), so news like this always excite me! Can't believe we'd be at this point where most of the titles have translations. Arunaru and Maria really were the saviors! ...Might give Funbag Fantasy a try, just because the artist commented on how it could be the next Rance or something. It better be that good, because my only experience prior to reading the visual novels related to it is its H-OVA. All the other announcements, I'll read someday... When I get a stable source of income....
  12. Holy shit. I can't believe it. This thing that I've been waiting for throughout my entire secondary and tertiary years of education will actually get released. I can't believe it. I was waiting for it to become the next Tsukihime remake.
  13. N-Nooooo don't be scared.... I-It's not too bad!

Welcome! (or more appropriately, welcome back?) Let's try and revive ourselves along with the forum.
  15. Not to mention the obviously strong opinions that kinda makes standpoints obvious here. Scary, scary. Confession: My N3 JLPT exam is in 3 days, and I haven't progressed in the kanji because I totally forgot about it.
  16. Dun wanna put in effort opening a JP game and not finish the things to read there.
  17. Goddamn. If anything, both of you sound like luckerdogs to me. I'm still at 6 SSRs after a year. 1 limited (Ishtar), 2 GSSRs.
  18. Huh. I forgot to post about it, but I finished Hate Plus. What can I say, @Mr Poltroon was right. That's hella good. Better than the first game. It was interesting how screwed-up things that led to the first game were. Also played the two LoveKami games on Steam.
  19. I think they're both worth giving a try. If your main gripe is the game assets itself (from what I'm assuming via NVL writing style and backgrounds), there's a mod out there made by fans that transfers the PS3 assets to the Steam game to essentially port the PS3 game experience. It's by 07th mod, and they're really easy to look up. Just type 07th mod, and their homepage should come up. That's why I follow up this recommendation too. Holding off on reading both though until CH8 is out for Steam.
  20. Oh. I didn't know we had a topic for Granblue Fantasy. If ever some of you are interested, I'm recruiting people in HL who want to do minimum effort in GW for the most rewards. 15 mil quota on prelims, then 8.5mil per round for easy tier A and 250mil tier valor badges kind of slacc. Add me up too!
  21. Maybe you can try applying for those in the Translation Projects section under Development Boards. You can also try to start a project of your own there if you'd like!
  22. I'm still praying to the Lord that the entire ~What a Beautiful~ series from Liarsoft gets translated. Souten no Celenaria when. Also Alicesoft's Daiakuji and Atlach-Nacha. And Pastel Chime. Someday.
  23. Welcome, welcome! I'll look forward to the unveiling of your project!
  24. Nah that's Kugimiya Rie, the tsundere queen. She also has other prominent roles like Louise from Zero no Tsukaima, Shana from Shakugan no Shana, and Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. For those who play Granblue Fantasy, she also voices Vyrn and Vampy. For my favorites, gotta be Hanazawa Kana. I'm a sucker for her moe roles, particularly those of Onodera Kosaki from Nisekoi and Sengoku Nadeko from the Monogatari Series. Because of her famous roles, she's being given a lot of roles per season, so I understand if people say they're kinda sick of seeing her in every damn seiyuu casting. I would too, if I was watching seasonal shows. Another would be Sakamoto Maaya. To be honest, I kinda started noticing her after I began to like the characters she voiced in Granblue Fantasy (Arulumaya and Dark Angel Olivia), but her roles in different anime are pretty good too. I really liked her portrayal of Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club and Oshino Shinobu from the Monogatari Series. For male VAs, definitely Takehito Koyasu. Can't go wrong with Dio Brando's VA. Also noticed he voiced Excalibur from Soul Eater too? Goddamn that's beautiful. I like how his voice flows. So manly. Jun Fukayama is excellent too. I like the kind of characters he voices (Lelouch from Code Geass, Joker from P5) and how different they are in contrast with his character in Granblue Fantasy (Quatre). Can't begin to imagine what kind of vocal cord shredding happens when he shouts his lines. Not too familiar with VAs in eroges, tbh. I didn't take notice of them too much. I find it fascinating that some of them (like Kadowaki Mai and Asakawa Yuu) can be found in a number of games though lol. Looking forward to playing more eroges with Kadowaki Mai in them.
