It's been a month since I finished the game, so bear with me if I don't remember it clearly anymore. Okie dokie. Hope that works out. All the other three routes are actually longer than what you got so it's hard to summarize everything that happened. Just note that the entire thing in the Lust route revolves around scandals and whatnot.

I have a bit of a summary in the review, but feel free to ask for more if that's not enough. If you're looking for like an actual detailed summary though... I guess I could try? If you really wanted to be spoiled.

The ending fit the overall themes of AoT by the end, tbh. I really liked how it was handled, and while my friends who were manga readers mention stuff like changes or whatever, ultimately it felt like it made sense given who Eren was. It was satisfying! I hated S4's release sched though LOL

Things related to false advertisements of being similar to Danganronpa or other mystery VNs which led to unfulfilled expectations. In addition to that, it's also priced pretty high relative to other EVNs. Both those combined to form a kind of strong backlash when the game was finally made available in stores (or even before that, I'd imagine). Granted I wasn't really aware of any of that prior to the release, so my opinion about it is secondhand. It's another whole topic outside of what it is as a visual novel, after all.

Review Link Heya! I'm Kosakyun. Last month, I reviewed Dreamloop Games' first visual novel title Inescapable: No Rules, No Rescue for Fuwanovel. If you're familiar with the title, it probably means you caught whiff of whatever drama was happening around its release. While some of the criticisms do make sense given the game's price and just a broader context of the overall situation, it's better if you still play it yourself to get your own opinion regardless, right? So given the opportunity, that's exactly what I did! For a quick look, here are some points I felt were important. Pros: Vibrant cast of characters with their own quirky personalities (sometimes to their detriment) Creative setting for a relationship simulator Cool UI and miscellaneous features (minigames!) Routes with themes that play nicely into the game's setting Mia Cons: It's incredibly slow-burn (felt lika a slog at some point) Limited saves The minigames lack meaning or replayability There is no "Extra" tab for CGs and Music There are no guides and I cannot find my last fucking achievement because the description is so vague I'm curious to see if you guys agree with whatever I said here, so come at me with your worst! Hi there, it's been a while! Today I changed the thread's purpose (or expanded it, technically). I wanted it to better represent how much Alicesoft has expanded its reach both officially and via fan efforts. As a result, the thread now lists officially translated titles and machine translated titles alongside the FanTLs that were already here back then. Of course, these titles are still easily accessible via VNDB but I thought it'd be nice to repurpose what is essentially a dead thread. Hopefully this helps someone out there who's interested in diving into Alicesoft's worlds as a whole. I'll update it every now and then if I come across some new developments. P.S. RIP Galzoo you were a shining beacon of hope but the world wasn't ready to receive you.

If we're specifically talking about lighthearted story VNs with a highschool cast: Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai! Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate Princess Evangile (?) Those are probably some of them that don't directly instantly pander to male audiences with fanservice... maybe. I put Princess Evangile with a (?) because I'm still reading it right now, but it hasn't been too bad so far. For the other recommendations, I'm basically seconding the ones from Key. I don't think you can go wrong with them, and if you happen to not like the first title you'll pick up from them, you probably won't like the others by some default criteria. Have fun trying out everyone's recommendations!

Actually, I asked my friend who's a big Key fan for a list to recommend to you and this is what they sent me based on what you described: Amagi Brilliant Park Charlotte Kino no Tabi (which ever version, I watched the latest one) Little Busters (+ Refrain) Plastic Memories Kamisama no Memochou Kiznaiver ReCreators Rokka no Yuusha Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo Hopefully one of these tickles your fancy!

Probably anything from Key as a first recommendation then, right? Ignoring the VN adaptations, Charlotte and Prima Doll are probably not bad places to start? Though I think Charlotte's probably an easier pick. For non-Key titles, I don't see AnoHana in your list so as a staple, you should probably go for it! It doesn't have action though so... But if you're okay with SoL drama stuff, then that and Your Lie in April should be good picks for emotional friendship stories. As a personal recommendation, I'll throw in Girls' Last Tour too. It's one of my favorites.

What part of Angel Beats are you specifically looking for in another show? Might make it easier to recommend stuff!
