  1. Personally I'm a fan of Type-Moon's works, & Fate/Zero in particular was among my favorites. I use this cuz Berserker is badass, also one of my favorite servant in the Fate series.
  2. I say it's because a lot of people are prejudiced, hypocrites, fanatics, etc... The list goes on really. I usually don't dwell on it because it would just stress me out.
  3. Okay, now I'm having another strange problem. For some reason the movies can't be played, is this a glitch? Even in the extras it won't play, I've even gone full screen mode but it doesn't work. Does anyone know how to fix this? Edit: Nvm, it seems the problem was with my codecs, it's fixed now.
  4. It works! Sucks that I have to redo the rest of Root D though, but it works! Guess no one has a complete save huh... Still, thanks for this hidden gem! Better make a back up from now on just in case... Though if anyone here found or have a complete save, it would be much appreciated (yeah I have this tendency to want complete CG & others in Extras, but some are just too frustrating to try & complete since I'm not a fan of bad ends & some are hard as hell to get). For now, off I go to work on that Grand Ending.
  5. The size is the same, but the data is corrupted... Damn... looks like it really is lost forever... Is there a section around here where people share complete saves? I don't want to restart everything if I have to...
  6. Morality eh? Well I'm the pragmatic type, but even in game my morality is still pretty much the same as irl. I just apply my own logic & reasoning in game as I do irl, maybe that's why I like my stories more realistic & leaning more to the cynical scale, since overly idealistic stories have no appeal to me since it feels like I'm fooling myself. Though in the end I do enjoy what I play for what it is. In terms of morality though, I don't really change in game, especially in online gaming. Generally, I play games to have fun & enjoy the immersion it provides me. Hence why I like high quality plot centered VNs so much.
  7. Hmm... I'd say you're much better off trying with Sekai Project. I know several indie developers that have already had their projects underway & even published. If you know titles like Sunrider: Liberation Day, that's one such example. Also as the others said you have a much higher chance assembling your own team. If you already have the scripts & team set up & are determined to make this work, kickstarter is a good place to get funding if that's what you're looking for. Don't bother with the bigwigs on Japan, you'd have to literally be a shooting star in their eyes to be picked from the thousands upon thousands of writers that's submitting their own application. Hope this helps & good luck with your VN project.
  8. I don't know if this is the right section to ask for this but it seems like it. You see I'm currently reading Root Double Xtend version, but my save was suddenly corrupted. Don't really know what's the cause, I have a feeling it was because my laptop crashed but that doesn't seem to be it. Already made a thread in the tech support but it may be the wrong section since no one's answering. Another weird thing is that it keeps saying corrupted every time I re-open the game even though it's supposed to save upon exit. I tried moving the save & let the game reset, which works fine, but that means all my progress is lost. When I put back my save it displays corrupted. Any way to fix this? I really don't want to start over since I'm pretty far in already & maneuvering through the SSS was a real hassle. If the data is lost for good (hope it's not), would someone be kind enough to share their complete save? If this is not the right section, where do I put it? Thanks in advance & sorry if this is the wrong section, it's just that with the limited time I have recently I don't think I can afford to restart the whole thing, since I also still need to do other stuff as well using my spare time.
  9. Okay... so the save problems been fixed, but I'm having another problem. When I go to extras & play the movies, it won't play at all for some reason. I've even tried it on full screen & still it won't play. Anyone knows how to fix this problem?
  10. If you're willing to wait a bit, you can play Koisaku. My team is currently translating it & it basically meets your written criteria. I'm lead QC & my estimation would be around mid December or slightly later before the next partial release which contains 2 routes. https://vndb.org/v10304 http://koisaku.org/ Other than that, well let's see, here's my recommendation if you haven't read them yet: # ef ~A Fairy Tale of the Two~ (consist of 2 parts: the first tale & the later tale) https://vndb.org/v88 # To Heart 2 (currently partially translated but already have plenty of routes to play, only 3(?) out of 10 heroines left unedited I think. The rest is translated, edited & qc'ed) https://vndb.org/v20 # Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate (currently only have 1 out of 5 routes released. The rest is waiting editing & QC) https://vndb.org/v4028 I could recommend you the others, but over half of my VN collection has either heavy plot, dark setting, or lack of highschool setting. Other than that, a few of them is a bit old, released in around 2006~2008, but are still pretty good, both art & story wise. A few of them are also considered mind-screws. These are not your typical highschool romance, even if several of them have a few cast still in highschool, the plot is too dark to be considered pure romance or your happy slice of life, it's dark slice of life. If you like KEY VN's they got plenty of what you're looking for. If not, well... too bad, since Maeda Jun's creation is a masterpiece imho.
  11. It's best to just wait for the 2nd patch to come out. The team that made the restoration patch is working on it (albeit slowly), but it's worth the wait if it means you can read the VN in it's original glory, not the butchered up version that MoeNovel presented us with. I don't even know what they were thinking (or smoking) when they worked on this, they only need to translate it & instead they completely butcher it for "censoring" purposes. Their translation also looks like crap, it even looks like they didn't even bother to edit any of the scripts -.-
  12. It' pretty hard for me to pin down which one is my favorite. But I do have a few that are on the top of my list. Little Busters!, Grisaia no Kajitsu, Steins;Gate, F/SN, ef A Fairy Tale of the Two. These VN's have great stories, & I really like the plot twists and emotional impact on some of them. As for art and music, a few of them have amazing art/music that left quite an impact on me.
  13. I only consider a VN to be completed after I have read all the routes (including sub-routes). I don't read bad ends unless I accidentally got them. Bad ends aren't fun to read -.-
  14. I see, this VN does have a lot of routes, so that's not surprising I guess considering the length of the VN. Enjoy reading the rest of the routes, refrain is especially touching. Them feels man...
  15. If your still having problems, an easy solution would be to use a complete save from here http://sagaoz.net/savedata/yarawa/42ri.htm Just use ctrl+f then paste this リトルバスターズ!since there are 3 different save files. One for the original, one for the EX version, and one for the perfect edition version which is also compatible with the EX version, minus the H-scenes of course. Since you already completed all the routes, there won't be any problems with spoilers. Just start a new game after you apply the save and follow the choices that lead to rin 2 route. There's a walkthrough you can use here http://tlwiki.org/?title=LB!:Walkthrough The walkthrough contains the guide for all the routes, including bonus routes and also guides for the 3 new additional routes for the EX version. Hope this helps. If you still can't access Rin 2 route after all that then I don't even know what to do anymore, since this is the surefire method.
