I read the manga and I instantly loved it because of the simple, and well built characters. But after hearing that it will be turn into anime, it gave me both excitement and anxiety. Excited because I'm able to see the characters moving with voices. But I'm also anxious because I don't know if they will split different stories per heroine route or they will make it as one. And also nowadays, companies are focusing fanservice that results to sacrificing details on screening time. Today, I was able to watch "episode 00"/"teaser-episode" of Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata which is produce by A-1 pictures which is known for Fairy Tale, Ao No Exorcist, and Sword Art Online. The animation is very good but as expected fanservices everywhere (which I deem unnecessary and hindrance to story development as I mentioned earlier). Ironically they also talk about this issue in the prologue part of the said episode. But hey it's still a teaser of the anime. So what are your thoughts?

I think this issue is a matter of a person's perspective. There are three types of viewers and creators in this world (readers or audience, and writers,mangaka,animator), the deep thinker, the shallow thinker, and the escapist. Deep thinker wants a masterpiece that tickles their minds. They incorporate different facts from their experience. Even if you say that there are deep thinkers who goes beyond these facts, they still acknowledge these facts and perhaps they just expounded them or contradicted them. In short they always want their brain constantly working. These people are privilage enough to have a decent backround (mainly education and perharps food, shelter, psychology, family and etc). They are genius but rare. The shallow thinker, in contrast, refuse to use their head to comprehend something infront of him/her. They are just relying on their "pleasure" which is just a primitive instinct.... In short, "look, BO*BS!!!" or "look, P*NIS!", they say. They are the "deprived". They perhaps lack of education, nourishment, psychological health, and etc.. Because of this, they are regressed as an "animal" instead of being an ordinary human or something great. Unfortunately, they are a lot of them out there. Note, it doesn't restrict to financially poor. And lastly the escapist. They are the ones who just want to escape from the rough reality. They don't want to use their minds too much but still their train of thought is still grounded by their basic human experience. In other words, they just want to relax and unwind as an ordinary person. They are basically ordinary humans who are healthy in every aspect. They make, watch, or read things as a coping mechanism to maintain their healthy well being. So my point is we can't condemn people because they are stupid. But we can assess why they are like that. Can somebody recommend me a manga or anime with a weak protagonist with harem? I prefer that the genre is slice-of-life with bearable humor (not overboarding/over-acting) and not dragging. Though, I accept action genre or protagonist becomes stronger in the end. But if it is difficult to find an anime/manga like that, you can recommend me a weak protagonist with romantic comedy genre. Hope is one of the unique characteristics attributed to human beings. Yah, I really hope the patch will come out this year. But according to my unreliable calculation base on gut feeling which is always end up to be accurate, 85% chance that this patch will be done next year since there are still adjustments to be made if ever Azanger will be able to start the patching after Christmas. Unless if they will release a "beta patch" wherein there are still minor bugs. Well, I prefer quality so I urge the team to take your time... XD

Won't you people kindly put some progress updates about the patching? I know there are a lot of things to do in patching like adjusting the text length to fit the dialogue box and etc. At least can you tell how far you're done whether in percentage or in words (problems encountered, accomplishments, or summary). This is to give a clue to the people who wait about the progress. I'm really confident that you guys can translate the routes completely very soon, because how Dowolf works speedily and Ouraibaa's very decent QC'ing. However, Azengar is busy in his real life and I understand it very well. Well, reality is a bitter sweet entity.

Hooray for kosuna for 99% completion (I honestly have doubts) and dowolf for reaching 50% in Miyako route! However, I guess the full translation patch will be a christmas present (n.b. Christmas season last until the month of January). Though take your time so that you won't sacrifice the quality. XD

All aboard to majikoi S translation as this translation group is nearing to their project completion!!! Though, it will take years. But if Dowolf will be generous enough to translate, it will just take months... XD

So this is what I gather so far: 1. VN soundtrack should not be misleading (sum's up most of the criteria of having a great soundtrack) 2. The song genre should be fitting with the VN's genre. 3. The video should be good and matched with the song a. Gives information regarding the game without spoiling to much b. Good scene transition that is timed with the beat of the song c. Video theme should be the same with the theme of the song c. Preferably good graphics and animation 4. It is rather subjective on the player/audience (kinda ambiguous at the moment) 5. Something to do with sound frequency (scientific hypothesis that needs to be verified) How about using these criteria to these two opening music videos: A. Hoshizora no Memoria (which is stale for my taste even though this VN is one of my favorite) B. Little Busters Ex (one of my favorite opening music video) So what are your thoughts or findings? XD
