  1. What's the problem with the ending? Aside from the wedding scene, it was the only good moment of the route.
  2. Hm... I don't think Steins;Gate routes should be measured like normal routes. All of them were short (Suzuha was the shortest, but still...) and they were kind of different. They wouldn't have a value outside of the VN as a whole. This is bad, but at least it had focus in Sakuya, instead of having almost no focus and wasting time with useless stuff (*cough*Ageha's route from Konosora*cough*)
  3. I didn't dislike Terra Route because it was bittersweet, it's because it didn't add much to Rewrite. They could've explored the characters a lot more, but instead they just chose a big route to "end" the plot and to give us a little more information about Guardian. It was just too superficial for me. It wasn't better than Shizuru's route. I think you mean "claim it was worse than Shizuru's route", right? Shziuru's route was A LOT better than Terra. It was my second favorite route from Rewrite. (Lucia's is my all-time favorite route). Shizuru's route had good romance, good drama, and it didn't lack focus. It had nothing wrong.
  4. I think my 4th worst route would be Terra Route from Rewrite, also because it was a true route and it still managed to be the worst route of Rewrite. (All the others were a lot better).
  5. My top three from the worst to the least bad: 1. Ageha's route from Konosora: The heroine almost never appeared (always running and making short appearances). Other characters appeared too much with no relation to the focus of the route (if it really had any focus). Pointless conversations and too much of the glider (seriously, i hate when the plot takes too much from the routes if it's a character-driven story. The plot was already explored in the common route, WHY does it have to steal so much time from the heroines' routes?!). Almost no "real" romance and mostly ichaicha. This route had basically everything I hate in a route. 2. Chisato's route from Koichoco: Okay, there was ichaicha, but I didn't have problem with it, since there was some good romance too. The two main problems were the high amount of pointless conversation unrelated to the route focus and too much of the plot. The heroine's problem was known by the protagonist since the beginning (and I consider this a bad thing because there's no "revelation" part that I like) and it ended in the middle of the route, with just a little epilogue in the end about it. All the rest was plot-related. Oh, and I can't forget about the forced and unnatural drama. 3. Kotori's route from Konosora: Basically, the same thing of Ageha's route, but the heroine had more appearances and those flaws were not so intense as they were in Ageha's.
  6. Always. But I don't read multiple routes at the same time (didn't know people did this). I watch multiple animes at the same time, multiple tv series, read multiple books, multiple books and so on. VNs same thing.
  7. Hm... I wonder what Heikiru/Hikaru route will be like, because Heikiru felt like the main heroine, even if it was Anzu. Seriously, almost all the plot there was in the common route was about her (but Anzu got some too, and the other heroines nothing? They completely ignored the others), even some character development was around her. She's like a central piece because she and her parting were the trigger of most of the main events.
  8. I can handle it. Despite all the pervertedness and comedy in the common route, i still like it a lot. Did you read it using Machine Translators? Don't like 'em because I like to play full-screen.
  9. I've just finished Clover Day's common route. I've got to say it really impressed me. It was short (just 3 days) and this can be good or bad (depending of the quality of the routes), as it leaves more space to the routes. There were a lot of flashbacks and it had a nostalgic mood. There were also a lot of heartwarming moments. This common route is different from other common routes, because there is a lot of "important" stuff happening, not just hints. The soundtrack was really good: while there was no song that I LOVED, there was hardly any song that annoyed me. The heroines were good too (there wasn't a single one I can say I disliked, but also there wasn't one that I fell in love with). And the protagonist... I don't know what to say (he kind of had a good character development, but at the same time he was REALLY REALLY perverted and he was also a complete jerk sometimes). But there were two flaws: all the characters, except the teacher were perverted. Yes, all of them. And this really got on my nerves. And another flaw: excessive comedy. It can be good for people who like it, but I'm not really a fan of comedy. I'm really looking forward to the routes. I hope they're really good, because this game definitely has potential. I'm just afraid because there was no romance in the common route, so this means all the slow and introductory part will be in the routes. But if they handle it well... Also, there was no "real" plot, so it's kind of good, because it means it won't get in the middle of the heroines' routes. I'll be anxiously waiting for Yakusoku Translations to release another patch. And I recommend it for all those who like to read partial patches.
  10. Have you tried Nekopara? Not exactly what you're looking for, but there's still animation.
  11. So, I extracted the CGs from Clover Day's (ALcot) using xp3viewer. Just extracted them, didn't convert or anything. The extension of the files is .png. But then I just substituted some images with others(.png too) to remove the H-content. I tried to repack the folder using kirikiri2, but when I put the new file on the game's folder no image showed up when it was supposed to, just a black screen.. (And I'm talking about the ones I did not substitute). When I tried to extract the images with kirikiri2, they got corrupted. Maybe the same thing happened when repacking... What should I do? I tried xp3tools, but same thing happened. Update: I tried extracting the new .xp3 file I created and it seems like it was really corrupted. The files won't open anywhere.
  12. Problem solved. I used xp3viewer. Maefdown, you should add this to the data extraction thread.
  13. What's popular in anime right now? Animes have a lot of genres, each season we have a lot of different animes with different plots and styles. I don't get exactly what you mean.
  14. I'm trying to extract a .xp3 file using kirikiri2, but whenever I try to do this, a window pops up on command prompt and it says: "Invalid startup configuration" I have tried using xp3tools and Crass but those two gave me error messages.
  15. It's not like I hate ichaicha in its essence. It's because if the ichaicha isn't with a girl I REALLY like, I will find it boring. I like the ichaicha in Asa/Yoru route in Konosora, for example. Because I loved Yoru and I liked Asa.
  16. It's a nakige. I want to try something different: I was looking for a charage preferably.
  17. Do the ichaicha episodes outnumber the really important eps? Also, what makes it so good for you?
  18. Does the ichaicha get in the middle of the routes' focus? If the ichaicha doesn't take too much time from the route and doesn't prevent the route from being focused on the heroines' problems, I can accept it. No, I haven't. I'll take a look, thank you. But I have read very few VNs: Rewrite Little Busters! Steins;Gate If My Heart Had Wings Only these four. I played Chisato's route from Koichoco too(it is a good example of a route that really wasted lots of its time with useless stuff, but I'll wait for the translation of the other routes to see if they can be better) .
  19. 1- it has to been fully translated, or currently being translated with a partial patch out 2- no nukiges. It doesn't matter if it''s all ages or 18+, since I know how to remove the H-content with certain softwares. 3- not Key (I love Key, but want to try something different) Now for the special requirements: -Things the heroines' routes (if there are routes) must not have: too much ichaicha or useless talk unrelated to the heroine and her problems. (Like what Kotori's route in Konosora did). Notice that I don't mean it has to have little romance. I like "romantic" romance (such as confessions in the beach, romantic hugs and kisses with a stunning background, etc. ), but not too much ichaicha romance (such as the couple eating ice cream, playing games with all that lovey-dovey talk) -Things the heroines' routes (if there are routes) must have: focus on the heroine's problem or the plot (when it's a plot-focused VN). While I like romance, I don't like if the route reduces the focus on the heroine's problem to give place to useless conversation or other stuff unrelated to the heroine. For example, the routes of Little Busters! don't lose focus and almost every scene is related to the heroine. -It can be a moege, but preferably a drama-heavy story.
  20. HBO does nudity, but it's not porn. Sex in VNs is in a whole different degree.
  21. I don't think Steins;Gate had bad art, but I think they wasted some CGs. They put CGs in moments that didn't need them and didn't use them for the ones that required this. For example, that pic of Kurisu soaked, instead of putting that CG, why not put a CG of her fixing Okabe's clothes? It would add much more impact to the moment. This is my complain about Steins;Gate art.
