  7. I see, so it lets you modify other files but not the text... Here's a different option: 1) Make a copy of the (extracted) scenario folder. 2) Modify the text files in that folder. 3) Now repack the entire scenario folder as a xp3 file and name it scenario.xp3. 4) Replace the scenario.xp3 file in the game folder. Also, if you still have the patch with the translated files, delete it. If that doesn't work, send me a PM.
  8. Hmm, so the game already has a file named patch.xp3 in the directory? If so, try renaming the new patch (the one with the translated files) patch2.xp3.

  10. Hello! I'm looking for help with the game Dynamic Chord feat. apple-polisher (VNDB page). I've already translated to spanish Dynamic Chord reve parfait and I'm working on Liar-S right now, both of which have an older version of the engine (the one with the .wsc file extension). It's a honeybee black otome game that uses the AVDHD engine (a new version of the Will co. engine, it seems). It uses a .ws2 file extension for the script files (these are packed into the Rio.arc file, but I was able to extract them). The problem comes when repacking the text into the .ws2 files and replacing them into the game. So far I've tried 3 different methods: 1) Will Plus Manager (link) this tool lets you edit the ws2 directly (without converting them into a .txt) and then repack them into a .arc. This was my most ‘succesful” attempt, in that it showed the text exactly as expected in-game. However, the game freezes once it reaches the end of the modified file. 2) ahdprc (link) the .txt I get out of the ws2 files lack some dialogue lines. I also couldn’t get it to repack stuff succesfully. When I try to replace the files in the game and open it, I just get an error and a blank text box. I also tried a combination of ahdprc (for the first steps) + Will Plus Manager (for the encrpytion and packing), but with the same result of just using the Will Plus Manager. 3) get_ws2_text (link) this tool can extract the text, but there’s no way to reinsert it.   12. @kkjjwwo Hi! Are you still having problems with the font? I might be able to help, which game are you trying to translate? In my experience, depending on the game you might have to modify one of the following files: the pf.dat or the .exe of the game.   13. @miinna Did you save before replacing the script or after? I saved after replacing the script and I could load normally.
  14. @miinna That's great! That's weird... That doesn't happen to me. In which part of the game does it happen? Is it in a scene included in the edited .spt?
  15. @miinna Hi, I think I know how to solve your problem. MIO uses a different version of the SystemNNN engine. To reinsert MIO's game script files, you only need to change position of the ### from beside the lines to under the lines and then use the gsspt tool. For example: The first lines of the _sub01.txt file look like this when you extract them: For the patch to work, this lines should look like this: I tried inserting the files like that and it worked just fine. However, this causes an error when using the tool with the map.spt files which so far I haven't been able to figure out (or at least that's what happens with Clover Toshokan no Juunintachi and Koutarichou Jinyoutan). I haven't played Souten no Kanata's full version though, so I don't know if it has a map.spt file. If it doesn't, then you should be able to insert all the edited files just fine. Hope this helps! P.S: if someone knows how to solve the map.spt problem or knows about a different tool, then I'd like to hear about it :).
  16. The game's Clover Toshokan no Juunintachi, which was developed and published by MIO. I played it a couple of months ago and thought it would be a short, fun project to translate to spanish. A friend sent me a link to an old tool that extracted/inserted Gore Screaming Show scripts, the one that can be found in the TLWiki: http://tlwiki.org/index.php?title=Gore_Screaming_Show (where it says 'Last updated dumper/reinserter'). The tool converted the .spt files to .txt ones and I could open and edit them just fine. However, if I reconvert the .txt files to .spt ones with the same tools and replace them in the game's folder, the game freezes when it reaches the replaced script. It doesn't work even if I haven't edited the script.   21. Well, it hasn't been long since I've started translating japanese otomes to spanish, and so far I've managed to extract and insert text from PC ones... I don't know the first thing about how to do the same with PSP ones, but I'd truly like to translate this games: Shinobi, Koi Utsutsu Glass Heart Princess I'd be really grateful if someone could extract/compress the script files (and if possible, the menu images, etc that I'd need to edit) for me .
