If you are looking for romance focused VNs, as seen in your examples, I suggest Symphonic Rain for a medium length and Ef A Fairy Tale of the Two for a long length. Kira kira is also ok if you want some music stuff. Da Capo and Da Capo 2 is on the ok-ish side but I won't place it before the three mentioned. If I have to pick only one, Symphonic Rain of course. The only downside is the resolution (640 x 480) of the VN.

If you want something that deals on society and stuff, you can play Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo. Considering the ratings you have to G-senjou, I don't think this is the one you want but I'll put it anyway since I think it's pretty good.

Oh and overall my favorite BGM would be Arietta's theme (Feel the Rain). Idk, it just captures the elegant sorrowful feeling so nicely I always enjoyed hearing it xD
 
I'm going through the soundtrack right now. All heroine themes are wonderful! Even though there's only 19 tracks (with multiple versions of every track) I never got bored of the music~

I'd say Da Capo is the weakest in my recommendations. The others depend on preference.

Ef A fairy tale of the two has an option to remove the H scenes before you start reading.

Pretty much everyone. I visit tumblr and I can feel the rage in each post.

If we are talking of characters, Fal wins for me. If any route works, Al Fine is the winner.

I bought a windows tablet a month ago for around $200. It's pretty cheap for it's price considering I'm not from US. It also has an Intel Atom 3735D, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB storage, Micro SD slot up to 64GB, Office 365 Personal and a detachable keyboard that also serves a case.
 
I have to say, it's pretty good when it comes to VN. I can also use it to do work. I have to say that the purchase is worth it.

I don't really pay that much attention to VAs. Even then, I'll give my thumbs up to Mai Nakahara. Of course there's some sort of bias to the character she voiced.

I just thought he was looking for something sad. Symphonic Rain's last route is pure bliss IMO : >

Answers in bold. As you're done with the VN, I suggest you read the short stories. Sadly, only 3/7 is translated.

My first VN is Clannad. The reason I played it is because I want to see Kotomi's route and I hate the fact that Nagisa is the main heroine.

As for the experience, I really love it and from the VN i learn to love most characters, like Tomoyo and Kyou. I can't remember how many times I laughed because of Sunohara.

After playing Clannad though, I stopped playing VNs since the only reason I played it is for Kotomi. The VN that really bring me into VN reading is Symphonic Rain.
