It's basic zlib compression with a little Kirikiri header. Here's a very simple Python script that'll work with the 1 file you gave: https://pastebin.com/s1w1kY3p

What tool are you using to do the scripts? You mentioned me in the first post (SaintLouisX) so I wonder if you're using my one. If so I can have a look with a copy of the script and a save for it.

I only tested this with their newest game, and it requires python 3. Run extract.py in the game's base folder to extract all the archives, the game script should be in FGN_TADD as a txt file. Edit the script however, and put compress.py in that folder and run it. It'll make the new script, and a new archive from the files in that folder, which you can use in-game.
Unfortunately it looks like the game just takes all ascii text as commands, and doesn't actually print it at all:

There may be some in-built way around that in their format though, I'm not sure. You'll have to play around with it I guess.

It won't always be 9C though. You'll also find 01 for no compression and DA for best.

Standard load address for Windows exes is 0x00400000, so you just add it on. 0x10000000 for DLLs. Maaaaany games will use random layouts though and not load there at all, that's just the default/preferred, and in that case any absolute addresses will be in the wrong place unless you get really lucky, so it's not reliable at all unless you know the game doesn't use it.

Really no tools could do this one? Strange, it was a super simple one.

To use it, put it in the same folder as the .xp3s, hold shift and right-click in the folder and choose "Open command window here." Use "extract.exe -e data.xp3" to extract, and "extract.exe -c data" to compile back a folder. Replace the "data" part with whatever archive/folder you want to extract/compile.
After extracting data.xp3 for the scenario files, put them all in a folder called sys_patch or sys_patch2 if you have the patch. Probably best to give the patch with your own so you know everyone has it. So you have all the files like sys_patch2\4月6日.ks, and then compile sys_patch2. The game will use that as the latest archive (as long as sys_patch.xp3 exists, if not, it'll ignore sys_patch2.xp3), and so you only need to give out the files you change.
I haven't tested it on any of the lc2_ archives, cause I don't have them. They shouldn't be any different though (I hope).

A lot probably, but you'll need to at least find where it creates the font with something like CreateFont or CreateFontIndirect and modify the arguments to support whatever character set you want. If changing that to a specific font and characters still show up as ?, then you'll just have to follow with what the game does to render the text and see if it's throwing out characters at certain ranges. You'll find the reason it crashes at non multiples of 2 somewhere there too.

I wish they'd stop using "there's no use."
Certainly mechanical. The characters are lacking some personality, especially Suguha. From the Japanese there's no way way he'd say "According to your information" and certainly wouldn't refer to a girl he liked and got rejected by as "Miss." No one does that in English... "I was rejected by Miss Sophie." Sounds like a fucking teacher, not a classmate.
Oh well, there is no use. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Hopefully they'll get settled into the writing as it goes along and it'll improve over time.

They're actually required to throw it out and not read it. There have been massive legal problems, with people sending in scripts, then a movie maybe resembling the script coming out, and then the studio getting sued by the person who sent the script in, saying that they stole it. So no producer or movie maker in Hollywood will even look at your script, because it creates a liable mess, just by reading it.

Oop, found a mistake, referring to Asano as a "he." Twice.
They've removed a lot of stuff even partially relating to 18+, which is pretty interesting. Like Yanagisawa asking Hinako to come to the club room, because he doesn't have money for a hotel. They didn't cut the audio though. You still get the implication anyway with the lines coming after I think, so maybe it was superfluous. Also they removed a couple lines referring to Christmas as being a night that lovers spend together. That one was excusable to me though, because we usually associate it with family instead.

I put the mangled name into http://freaka.freehostia.com/charset2.php and then searched for some of that hex in the script.noa itself to find the original name. Found it, and coped it into http://freaka.freehostia.com/charset.php and it displays correctly as UTF-8.

    frc is absolutely right.
She's saying that women(/girls if you prefer) just want to see that you know you made a mistake.
顔しる just means "to make a face." The のって here just means "things like," so "a face like you made a mistake." More literally it says like "don't apologise, doing a 'my mistake' face is ok, for girls," with the more fluent meaning above.

Well it says that "people who believe in wishes in this age are stupid." Everyone can interpret it differently as to why, that's sorta the point of philosophical and poetic language isn't it? he's replying to something/someone though and we don't have the whole rest of the scene/story to judge exactly why he's like that. It's pretty much just exposition on the character and how they think about life. Seems like they're maybe expressing faithlessness, hopelessness, and maybe just tired with life in some aspect. There's no reason to dream, no reason to reach for the stars, your dreams won't come true. There's no magic or miracles in the world etc etc etc. Like Parallel Pain said, it depends on the character and story, it all shapes how you'd interpret that line for that character.

He's just following on the meaning. They're stupid because they still have wishes in this age. In a previous age they wouldn't be stupid you assume, otherwise you wouldn't specify "this age." So, useful in previous ages, not this age -> "outdated."

I found an issue with it just after, caused by exactly what I said I think. Went back and re-did it, should be pretty solid now. It did end up pushing "making," of the first page onto the next, but that's not really a down-side. I found some lines where words were still cut in half, and those are fixed. Updated the download link.

kDays is made by the same guy (or people) who made alpharom. Shame it's required, but the original exe is encrypted/compressed, meaning I can't edit it. Hell, I can't even debug or look at any of it. I cant edit the exe without a properly decrypted/decompressed version that I can save stuff to.

Well luckily I had it figured out before you linked me the scripts, was just a pain to test as I had to edit the string in memory  (and find one big enough so it wouldn't crash to begin with). The game doesn't use any VWF so that's not supported, so if you have other exe hacks that add in VWF or something then this won't work too well.

Looks fine to me, but as with everything like this, it needs testing. One thing that *may* cause problems, is that I just skip trying to wrap on non-ascii characters, just because otherwise it breaks the original entirely. You've left non-ascii in as the opening/closing speech marks and triple dots etc, so the line counting maaaaay go out in some places because of that. I don't know if it'd actually make a visible difference anywhere though.

    Here's the patch: https://www.mediafire.com/?4c8i5yr5384zi7n
The kdays dll is required, since it's part of the crack... The exe doesn't need you to run it through AlphaRom or anything, just run it as is.
