  1. Yeah, that's what I meant. But mmk, no worries if you don't.
  2. If you're going to parse it I can add Narration in for you if it makes it easier?
  3. There were a tonne more than that. Went through all of them though and added all the names. Narration lines are left nameless, since it seemed a bit weird to list them as "Narration." Same download link as before, so try downloading again.
  4. Mmm yeah that's not immediately obvious, in regards to names. Is there a character list anywhere?
  5. Alright, I went through, and here: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/myonl5e05v0aqxo/SnowSakura.rar Like I said though, I can't guarantee 100% accuracy that every single string is in there since I didn't fully decompile the script or anything, just did a very quick basic check. I've looked through a bunch of them randomly and can't see any missing, so I hope they're nearly all ok. If you find some messed up or missing though, yeah, sorry. Hopefully someone else can do them all properly.
  6. They do, but it's an annoying format that's pretty difficult to automatically extract without putting a bunch of time in to map out the format, which I don't think I want to do... :x
  7. Don't feel too bad. It's funny though, the more it learnt from humans, the more ugly it got, and our response to its humanness was to kill it because of how ugly it became.
  8. From that last screenshot, why not list the full filepath, since it's defaulting to system32 where the game obviously isn't?
  9. Madou Koukaku was absolutely fine. Gameplay isn't just the combat and nothing else, you had the base-building, unit production (and creation) and resource balancing aspect to it as well, and a decent degree of open-ness in which way you proceeded through the countries and what you did with them. It had a branching story from that, which is great. The things Eushully games have been sorely fucking lacking which ruins them are a linear story with no alternatives. Arterial was pretty godlike in that respect because the routes branched early and were very very different. As far as I can see, this thread is for best VNs with gameplay, not "best gameplay VNs." You need to rank the whole thing, and as a whole, Madou Koukaku was pretty good. Eushully's recent games have been very linear in their story. La DEA and Rhapsody both were, Rhapsody horribly so. Sankai no Yubiwa is looking like the same thing, and hate to break it to ya, but the combat is even less involved, less refined and gives you much less control than Madou Koukaku did. If you thought Madou Koukaku's combat was bad, enjoy their new game m8. This'll be 2 shit games in a row from Eushully, it's not boding well for them.
  10. Well when has America ever cared about seeing violence? I don't really think that'll be any issue, so much so that I didn't think about it. I assume just getting on Steam is the point,, how it's rated makes no difference. They can get on there with excessive violence (which it doesn't even have anywhere close to, just a few scenes in a long story), but they won't get on there with graphic sex, especially the nudity of the kids.
  11. Was away for a whole, and then from the title I thought this was a kickstarter for a new game from the actual devs, but no, RIP. That page is laggy fuck for me too, ugh. The original Japanese version is fucking amazing though. Never seen a VN paced so well, to be that long without actually getting boring. There's almost always story development going on in some form. One of very few VNs I didn't get bored with. I wasn't expecting to be too interested in the age its set, and wasn't expecting much from the looks of it, but it turned out to be fantastic. How it ties into reality is really well-done too. If it gets more people reading it, that's a good thing. About the censoring though; there's almost no 18+ content in the whole thing. As I recall there's only 1 sex scene in each of the 5 chapters, and they're pretty long routes. There is some rare occasional nudity when the protag is with his younger sisters, which only happens at the start of every chapter (bar 1). That could be censored without much loss, and the sex scenes could really be removed entirely and you wouldn't lose very much at all. It feels like they were just put in for the sake of it, like they felt it needed it, when it really didn't. So on that front, you don't really need to worry. If you wanted the game for the sex, don't bother, there's almost nothing there to see to begin with. This is an actual story-driven VN, not a game focused on sex. (but has weird shit like this NSFW : http://i.imgur.com/vmcP9en.jpg)
  12. Oh interesting, VNDB doesn't list her as a character.
  13. Nope, Russia and EU were last. Australia was one of the first I did. I still don't know how you can possibly get your troops counts that high without cheating. That's many many trillions of gold... Did you cheat it?
  14. As I said, everyone else is done besides her, so yes Copernicus is done. There are no events left besides the last one of the story, some shambler floors and that floating island thingy.
  15. I've maxed every character's affection, but I'm missing a single heart on Galileo. Did I miss it? How do you unlock it? :|
  16. Well I assumed the game were pretty much the same, just with a few bits added. http://i.imgur.com/p9oxdfS.jpg Her. Note that she goes first and one-shot my Yoshitsune (and pretty much everyone else as well) so I'm down 1 char before I can even do anything.
  17. 60? What? You can only use like 6 per battle, and 9 or something total. I'm only upping like 10 at best. It's gold though. I'm not in the EU chapter though, I'm at the end of the game, I don't know when the Atlas fight unlocked, but you knew the fight, so it's that one.
  18. Atlas? I just blitzed her with triple gunners. She's kinda easy if you don't drag the battle too long. Regarding the dragons, don't go for attribute bonus damage in the beginning as hitting the enemy with their weakness refills their brave faster, you barely get any brave and they can use their skills more often. Poke them with non-weakness hits so you can refill your Brave gauge and not theirs. Also, use the Wait command sparringly to adjust turn orders. You don't have to attack if you don't want to. But I can't not drag it out, she has like 38K and I only hit for 700-1K, she can fill her own gauge with normal attacks (which also one-shot me). I don't do that in the beginning with dragons, they still wreck me.
  19. So I'm stuck on some fights, like Da Vinci's one where you need to fight that robot construct, I forget its name. It one-shots my whole group though with it's ridiculous hit-all flamethrower thing. I'm really struggling at the dragons as well. Any tips for these hard fights? Still looking for stronger/better heroes to use in general. Also not sure how to really up them past 9Kish troops, because the cost is so crazy high.
  20. I haven't played the original, just gold, but from what I've seen from people who've played both, the story in gold is almost non-existent and bad in comparison.
  21. You need to beat the game in X turns for some achievements. I think it's under 100 for the hardest one? Maybe it's for the true end? I dunno, it's something like that. I got Gold when it came out, still haven't finished it, and I'm still terrible at the combat. Some 200 turns in, using all my actions every turn to view the events of every girl and do all the battles, and still not done with them, and still stuck on many battles.
