The part with the Fairy King antagonist guy and Asuna was as rapey as a PG-13 show can get, I would say. There were those tentacle monster guys too, when Asuna tried to escape the place. I mean, was them being tentacle monsters really necessary? -_-

SAO has finally gotten around to traps! In addition to loli, incest, rape, I think the fanservice list is pretty comprehensive. But yeah, I agree, that episode was relatively good.

I used to do Brazilian jiu-jitsu, but not as of recently. As a result of that, I exercise regularly, because that's always a good thing. Also video games and anime and stuff. -_-

Immersion is the best way to fix the nooks and crannies of language learning. Therefore, watching TV shows or movies in English may very well be your best option -- they're also enjoyable, of course! Considering that you're on this forum, dubbed anime might also be a favorable alternative, especially considering that the actors in some TV shows and such don't speak very clearly, whereas characters in dubs tend to speak relatively slowly and clearly. I recommend FUNimation dubs to be safe, because some other companies aren't so great. Of course, this would only put you on the listening side of things. I'm sure it would be even better if you were to find a native speaker with whom to converse, but I imagine that would be more complicated.

For a second there I thought you were banning lolis. Don't try to give me heart attacks. -_- I believe the terms you stated are as fair as possible. There's no "perfect" way to make a poll in any situation; everybody has first and second and least favorites, but there's no way to equate their likes and dislikes exactly into poll choices. The two-choice system you mentioned seems reasonable. Some of the other banners in this contest were quite good, but received zero votes. With two votes per person, at least, everything can get a fair amount of credit.

Spice and Wolf is great all-around, but the official English translations (by Yen Press) simply don't show much effort. Anybody could spot the typos scattered about. The writing style isn't necessarily bad; the writer seems to be quite adept, but it's as if they didn't take the time to look over it for revision.

On several occasions, I've made the unfortunate mistake of going back and doing alternative endings to VNs out of curiosity, which happen to be the bad ones more often than not. The most lamentable case of this is probably in Katawa Shoujo: Also, do you guys remember that part in Narcissu that was sad? I remember that part. That was a rather sad part. -_-

2 isn't getting the love it deserves, in my opinion. It looks so... modern, whatwith the colors and shading, as well as the katakana addition. A lot of work clearly went into it.

Just to but in here, I feel like Japanese politicians must be embarrassed to have to deal with the customs of the younger generation. They're all trying to preserve social order and whatnot, while the upcoming generation of legislators has gibibytes of loli tentacle rape on their computers. I just find it funny. -_-

Ah, how did I forget that on my list? Analogue: A Hate Story has a few pleasantly memorable songs, as does the sequel, Hate Plus.

Aah, the soundtracks are the most defining feature of a VN, to me. Katawa Shoujo - The tracks were all unique, and perfectly matched the atmosphere. Different styles, instruments, et cetera created a pleasurable variety. My Girlfriend is the Presient - Most of the tracks only met the bare minimum, but a few were excellent, and listening to them puts me in the respective mood experienced in the game. Rewrite - As expected of Key, this was a quality OST overall. I forget what it's called, but my favorite is the song that always plays after a new day starts. Narcissu (1&2) - I like to replay this soundtrack whenever I want to feel depressed. -.- Over the Rainbow (Niji no Kanata ni) - Being such a short game, there's only ten tracks, but some of them are very much worth listening to. I've recently started Grisaia no Kajitsu, but I don't have an extensive gamut to judge as of yet.

Note to self: If I ever want to commit cyber terrorism against Fuwanovel, post lots of popcorn. I assume that it the final choice would counter-balance the loliness that currently presides, in contrast to my interests. But I'm not in the super secret conspiracy logo group, so whatevs. -.-

I disagree with allowing members to delete their posts. Having years of experience on another IPB forum, it seems like implementing such a thing would lead to more harm than good on a net scale. It simply causes confusion, and there's also the classic Facebook trick of making a controversial comment, waiting for the next person to write a directly critical reply, and then deleting your comment to make it appear that that person aimed it toward somebody else. Of course, such a specific situation would rarely occur, but I'm saying that it's possible to abuse this. If somebody has a truly good reason for which to have a post deleted, it seems like moderators are always available.

The sparkliness of number 2 has secured my vote. Also, the katakana on top is a nice touch.
