That's basically why I got involved.  They needed someone willing to do this.  That person needs to be able to translate as well; large parts of the script are shaky, especially the stuff translated early.
Well, nobody else seemed interested.  And I want to play SKM.  I had been planning to wait for Nocturnal Illusion (my other project) to release first, so people would have a feel for my skill level other than my say-so; but it didn't work out that way.  (A good thing, too; I got involved with SKM 18 months ago or so.)

the bekant series, good depth at 80 cm, and height adjustable. Not to expensive either.
I would suggest to go for one that is at least 160cm long because you do want desk space.
Other than that, it really comes down to preference, whether you want a straight one or a corner one.
But know that the corner of the ikea desks does not give you much extra space so a simple straight one might be best.
of course this is all one the basis that it fits in the room you want to put it in.

Rahter than a dx racer go for a vertagear triigger 350 with the nek rest.


 
as for the desk, yeah that looks to me like pretty uncomfortable position. you might want to look at a height adjustable one withy a bit more depth to it.
The ones from ikea seem decent.
But if you really want to go all out, i would look for a used office desk, cheap high and usually bhigh quality.
this is the one i have, cost me less than 170 euro. (about 200 dollar, i think)
Size is 160*180*80 but the maximum depth is more like 130

 
 

Okay, it's the first of the month (for a sufficiently large value of 'first of the month').  Time for an update!
About 4400 lines were transledited in a month.  I decided to change things up a bit and focus on character routes for awhile.  Makes a nice change of pace from working on the main story, and I'm quite a bit farther in the main story than in the side routes; the main story is about 63% done, where the side routes are about 35% done.

Rest assred I a dly pressing all keys. It's the keyboard which fails e. I a probably going to reinstall said drivers one ore tie, as a teporary soltion, and then trobleshoot in search of a ore permanent one.
inigae: Can yo tell which keys are alfnctioning? st be aware that beyond the ones featred in these short few sentences, there is one ore, a nber. It wold ordinarily stop e fro sing '/'. Soeties they do work, for soe strange reason.

the First season is quite good and the characters are nice.
 
I forgot to mention one series which does fit the bill but is mostly a comedy and slice of life series.
It is however my go to series for when i dont know what to watch and just need an episode or something to watch during dinner. Q

I thank you for your recommendations. Honestly, they're quite consistent. They're all things I really think I won't like.
To start with, I tried watching Fullmetal Alchemist. Apparently I watched about half of it, but I couldn't keep watching. It's too dark a show for me.
This is also one of the concerns I have with your other recommendations.
Keeping in mind the I dislike dark stories, shounen, and that action does nothing for me, I see nothing in those recommendations that would lead me to like it. This could change once  I start something, the problem is starting. Stuff like Youjo Senki hooked me in with its historical setting, and stuff like Psycho-Pass hooked me in with the cute girl protagonist, but most of these don't quite have anything like that.
From the synopsis'... I'll consider Hellsing Ultimate and Guilty Crown. If I like either of them I might try some of these others. It'd be good if my horizons expanded a little.
It does look that way, yes. But, chances are, I'll only consider reading it in a few years. Oh, well.

Okay, everything that has been edited is now properly accounted for in the tools.  Here is the current project status (all of these are edited percentages):

Over the course of my time on this project I transitioned, basically, from translating the remaining h-scenes into being a transleditor.  Nobody else was willing to do it, and the script needs some serious whipping into shape.  Also, I was much more haphazard in my editing before.  I would simply edit parts of files that clearly needed it as I happened to stumble across them.  This is reflected in the editing percentages, which are haphazard and show a lot of minor work mostly spread across the whole project, while a few files were very heavily edited.  For example, the majority of what is "edited" in Go happens to be the parts of Non's h-scenes that I translated (which mostly required only minor touching up).
Then the tools were ready.  And with the tools came nice stats.  With the stats, a good look at the state of the script.  I hadn't realized exactly how big the script was.  It's more than a hundred thousand lines! No, I'm not going anywhere.  Don't panic.  (And put this fish in your ear.  Trust me.)
But it does mean a change in approach.  As many of you probably know, the game is split into three routes (and one final bonus route, Kan), one for each of the three factions Shoku, Gi, and Go.  From now on, we are doing one route at a time.  First up is Shoku.  It's the longest, and it's the one our translator has decided to focus on finishing the h-scenes for.
This doesn't really mean much. The editing percentages for other routes just won't move for awhile.  No, it's not your imagination.  Yes, it's on purpose.

So I finished watching https://myanimelist.net/anime/5781/Isekai_no_Seikishi_Monogatari Tenchi muyo war on geminar. I didn't notice it was yet another part of the massive Tenchi muyo universe until I started watching it. It was an odd show which started as a very serious mecha show and then spent then next 6 episodes in pure harem comedy land. After that it went back to progressively more serious mecha while maintaining the harem comedy components. It was good fun, mostly during the earlier harem moments in fact, and the fact that Tenchi was ridiculously overpowered while remaining very modest was stupid fun. I didn't expect any harem or romance resolution so I only viewed it as a comedy and to that end it was a success. The serious aspects didn't really hold much dramatic tension for me but that didn't worry me much nor interfere with me enjoying it. Shows that hold dramatic tension for me are ones I simply cannot stop watching and with Tenchi I could watch one (double length) episode and then go to bed not really caring what happened next. One thing that bugged me a little was that everything looked blurry; I couldn't tell if that was original or a BD encode issue or what but I kept feeling like everything was slightly out of focus. It was still well worth seeing and entertaining overall, 7/10.
@kyrt I'll eventually be checking out your revised list shows next from the rom &/or com perspective but I still have a few other shows I started that I never finished that I should probably return to first, and my source of shows (ahem) disappeared recently so it'll be a lot harder to source them now.
