  1. I think i might have found a translator in the wild, at least i think.

So ar i have not found any mention of his translations on nay update posts.

That or i am simply blind.

He is currently translating Do S na Onee-san wa Suki Desu ka?

Which suffice to say is not in the usual repertoire of translated novels we get.

The guy has already translated 3 novels and is working on the fourth.

the bekant series, good depth at 80 cm, and height adjustable. Not to expensive either.

I would suggest to go for one that is at least 160cm long because you do want desk space.

Other than that, it really comes down to preference, whether you want a straight one or a corner one.

But know that the corner of the ikea desks does not give you much extra space so a simple straight one might be best.

of course this is all one the basis that it fits in the room you want to put it in.

Invest in a DXRacer chair with a lumbar and neck pillow. They are expensive, but absolutely worth it.

Rahter than a dx racer go for a vertagear triigger 350 with the nek rest.

as for the desk, yeah that looks to me like pretty uncomfortable position. you might want to look at a height adjustable one withy a bit more depth to it.

The ones from ikea seem decent.

But if you really want to go all out, i would look for a used office desk, cheap high and usually bhigh quality.

this is the one i have, cost me less than 170 euro. (about 200 dollar, i think)

Size is 160*180*80 but the maximum depth is more like 130

As of late, my laptop's keyboard has some keys which, after the computer turns on or wakes up, stop working temporarily.

I have no idea why this happens, but I have figured out what seems to be a relatively stable fix: I simply spam the keyboard keys, including those which do not function, and they start to after a couple seconds.
    Strange.

    try reinstalling the drivers.

I, admittedly, have always claimed not to like music all that much, up until the point where I realised what I really liked seemed to be OSTs.
That out of the way, Girls' Last Tour OST was one I absolutely adored. Starting with the first scene in the first episode:

way to revive a long dead topic :).

  6. Good thing i have everything spread out over about 6 different HDD/SDD's

Sucks though, i once accidently formatted my 1tb hdd with all of my vn's.

managed to get it back by downloading some recovery software.

Took all night tough and the file order was a mess.

Did manage to get around 90% working fine again. the rest i restored of an old backup full of zip files.

So I finished watching https://myanimelist.net/anime/5781/Isekai_no_Seikishi_Monogatari Tenchi muyo war on geminar. I didn't notice it was yet another part of the massive Tenchi muyo universe until I started watching it. It was an odd show which started as a very serious mecha show and then spent then next 6 episodes in pure harem comedy land. After that it went back to progressively more serious mecha while maintaining the harem comedy components. It was good fun, mostly during the earlier harem moments in fact, and the fact that Tenchi was ridiculously overpowered while remaining very modest was stupid fun. I didn't expect any harem or romance resolution so I only viewed it as a comedy and to that end it was a success. The serious aspects didn't really hold much dramatic tension for me but that didn't worry me much nor interfere with me enjoying it. Shows that hold dramatic tension for me are ones I simply cannot stop watching and with Tenchi I could watch one (double length) episode and then go to bed not really caring what happened next. One thing that bugged me a little was that everything looked blurry; I couldn't tell if that was original or a BD encode issue or what but I kept feeling like everything was slightly out of focus. It was still well worth seeing and entertaining overall, 7/10.

@kyrt I'll eventually be checking out your revised list shows next from the rom &/or com perspective but I still have a few other shows I started that I never finished that I should probably return to first, and my source of shows (ahem) disappeared recently so it'll be a lot harder to source them now.

    thx for the feedback.

And like you said the series is a bit of a odd show in more than one sense of the word.

If your still looking for series here is another possiblity but this one is on the long side Saiunkoki Monogatari.

As for your ahem source of shows try your source name with the word .si behind it. They managed to salvage it. and a certain fansubbing group with the letters H and S is also supporting it.

I didn't mind that character towards the end either. On the other hand none of the antagonists have grown much on me. Alice being the unintentional antagonist is doing dumb shit on a Darkness aka Lalatina level, only without it being funny. I'm not sure they could have made her much stupider.

Yeah, she is in my eyes probably the least likable character.

Then again we haven not had much backstory for any of the antagonists either so there really has not been much of a chance for the characters to grow on people.

Well, at least the last scene of Re:Creators 8 kinda saved this plot point, cuz oh boy is the MC ruining it. It's also a bit boring that the antagonist works on a classical dumb notion, but oh well.

Funny, i still disagree with you on there.

And personally i consider him hiding what he found still a very reasonable reaction.
Seeing as how he clearly does not feel part of the ground and from the looks of it is might also be suffering from depression.

Why the hell i would tell half of to the pink blob i just cant figure out, might be bacuse to him she is an outsider and has nothing to do with him.

    Spoiler

Although i'm not so sure about the death in episode nine at first i considered her to be a pretty annoying character but she kinda grew on me.
