Why does having or not having yuri make or brake a war anime, im confused?

Same for me My recommendations tend to be from 10-20 years ago. Personal favorite recommendations include: Crest/Banner of the stars. Mostly for the characters which are all pretty unique and none really fall into any stereo type. Desert Punk, Best comedy i have ever had the pleasure of watching. (And has arguably the worlds best dub, its actually better than the original japanese dub) Your under Arrest and Patlabor, for those just grab a episode and enjoy. Tenchi Muyo Ryo Ohki for harems series. Aria for those i just need to relax moments. Birdy the mighty decode Full metal panic. I personally refuse to recommend things like trigun, cowboy bebop and those other massivly popular old shows. Mostly because you get those recommended every time one asks for recommendations. In the mean time i finally found why i got that nostalic feeling from the first episode of Izetta, its from series like valkyria chronicle, Allison and Lillia (well the first 13 episodes before the time skip it falls flat after that), Dantallion no shoka, kiddy grade, pumpkin scissors and gosick.

Well, i would not say everything was better before because that is simply not true. But where 6-7 years ago I would enjoy about 15 of the shows each season that is now down to 6-7 each season. meanwhile the amount of shows each season has gone up drastically, and i swear the more shows we get each season the lower the overall quality seems so get. We have also had a drastic increase of otaku pandering shows the last 2-3 years. At least that is how it seems to me.

Yep, about the only one i was really looking forward to and it was a strait A all the way through. Although i must say i got some nostalgia vibes from the first episode, cant quite put my finger on what the exact cause is tough or to which series the feeling is referring. Think we can rename the fall topic to Shuumatsu no Isella and some other non important fall anime? But I am kind of concerned, the director is not exactly known for his stellar series.

its not like there are no series that i'm looking foward to, but there are only 9 series i even consider checking out. And generally about half of them fail so its gonna be a calm season for me. The series im looking forward to is the second season of gundam iron blooded orphans, vivid strike, and izetta: the last witch. But two of those are second seasons and not really new so to speak.

So has anybody else been following macross Delta? Personally i would say its good but not quite as good as frontier although the music migt actually have been better. Also, im honestly not impressed by next seasons lineup, it seems like there is no real standout show.

My answer to the first interesting event: I don't think your common sense is wrong, i also consider those kind of things kind of the norm in anime. But that does not mean i find them any less disturbing in real life, the first example anyway. The second one, well its not my problem but theirs if two cousins want to fall in love and F*ck each other i don't see much of a problem. I mean i aint religious and don't consider myself a good enough (read arrogant) person to determine that it is wrong to do so and besides its not my fucking problem and they aint harming anybody with it unlike the first example. (would probably still consider it mildly disturbing, but again nobody gets harmed or hurt in any way shape or form) As to the second event, I don't think you are insensitive, i just think your mother is having a bit of a midlife crisis and has some troubles with her hormones. (which in turn is making her gullible) My mother also had troubles with her hormones, at least that is what she says. I just think she is a bit of a idiot and lacking in common sense, but that is a entirely different story. She tended to get irrationaly angry at the smallest things ans somehow came to expect that we were able to somehow magically determine when she needed help. And when we could not magically determine she needed help she would explode, mostly against my dad and me. For some reason never against my little brother, which kind of makes sense as has never in his life done anything in the household. And the big stinker was if you asked if she needed help she would also get mad, because she thought you thought she could not do something or was dumb or something along those lines anyway. Naturally i dont take kindly to being verbally abused without reason and would get mad myself, at which point she would usually burst into tears....... Great so now its my fault..... Anyhow, i think it is better to remain ''insensitive'' because you might just save your mom from getting scammed, or you know using common sense and realizing that reiki is mostly bullshit.

true that, altough my personal opinion is that subara would have been better off if he was a little more like kanta from desert punk. And by that i mean, I disliked subaru as a character and i truly wish he was not so dislikeable. He was in more than one way the worst thing about the show, and in some ways also the best i just don't think the good about subaru made up for the bad. (not as a person but as a character) Meanwhile kanta, well he is just as much of a dick, but in his case you just love to hate him. And that means there is no bad thing about his character despite well and truly hating him.

My point was people were not going back far enough, and i never watched .Hack//sign. Did attempt it but i did not like it, i did watch the vision of escaflone. Anyhow, if i remember both of these have a very different story compared to the current overused trope, which as far as i can see is based of ZnT. And yeah Jun is a massive fanboy of the series. Much like i would not be able to give a unbiased opinion of Crest/Banner of the stars or Desert Punk.
