Do this, and set the game to fullscreen. Then, get the program "dxwnd" this allows you to run fullscreen games in a virtual window. Now, just add Kamidori to dxwnd, click "No Banner", click "desktop center" under Position, and set your preferred window size at "Window initial position&size". I would recommend 1600x900. Lastly, go to the Video Tab, set "Window style" to "thick frame", set "Window size & position" to "free", Then, under "screen resolution" click "initial resolution" and set it to the same resolution you chose for the initial resolution.

Ok, now I have played the game some, finished Ayame's route, halfway through Yuuki's, and this game has a very tangible sense of foreboding for me. I am the kind of person who quits a route on the off chance that it might not turn out well. This is why I am hesitant to play through Chiho's and Rinka's route. So, If someone could spoil those routes and more importantly their conclusions to me, I would be very grateful.

OK, this probably already counts as necro but I am going to post here anyways. First, Instructions for how to extract majikoi files. 1. The program we are going to need is exchpac. Download it here. 2. The .zip contains a lot of stuff but for this we only need exchpac.cpp, exchpac.exe and zlib1.dll. Put these three in a new folder and delete the rest. 3. Copy the file that you want to extract into a new folder. In this case it is the Se.pac. It will be called Se2.pac if you are using A-2 files. 4. Drag Se.pac onto exchpac.exe. This will extract the contents of Se.pac into the folder it is currently located in. 5. Now you need to find the file you want. If you extracted the A-2 file the Ringtone will be se_272.ogg. Additional Notes: Bgm.pac contains the OST. Effect.pac contains among other things the animated video sequences.

My two interpretations where ether time travel (The flying "Orbs" also kinda remind me of the time travel sequence in "Tales of Phantasia") and second that the ten years where just an illusion to see if Hiyori´s soul would remain pure (though that is pretty much impossible seen from the evidence)
