  1. 1) Handle (the one you use or plan to use): cowteats 2) Positions you can fill: translator 3) Types of projects (VNs) preferred: anything that is not nukige, BL or otome. PC games preferred. 4) Availability (edit this one as you get involved in projects): Busy working on a small project 5) (VNs most interested in producing an ftl for: 6) Motivation for joining in on ftl: TBH my own project Sanarara R is stalled indefinitely due to a lack of insertion tools so I'm looking for another project to translate in my free time. 7) Conditions* (any additional conditions, under which you will or won't work): -will only work on a project if the entire text insertion toolchain has been completed, i.e. no technical bottlenecks. -might have a low and invariable translation output due to job -cannot be guaranteed to complete the translation of a whole VN -will only work as a translation checker if all scripts have been translated -Passed JLPT N1, had previous anime fansubbing experience, translated the VN Air (Gao Gao Translations). Would prefer not to take a translation test but not averse to taking one.
  2. I'm also trying to translating a game using the MajiroArcV3.000. I've searched the net and there's no working v3 tool at the moment. You can most likely disassemble the scripts using the MajiroV2 tool (http://vn.i-forge.net/tools/#majiroarc+v1+and+v2+tools) just to translate them, but if you try to put the script back you'll probably meet with crashes at various points in the game.
  3. You say like I'm actually new to this VN translation thing.
  4. I spent a day digging around the net and found tools to extract and insert scripts. It's using MajiroArc v3.000. I can probably start translation but I guess I'm looking for someone who knows simple scripting and also to take over this extract/insert chore. Image insertion is also still a question mark, and so is word wrapping.
  5. Still looking for someone who's willing to help extract the scripts for this game.
  6. The old Sanarara uses the Nscripter engine while the renewal version uses the Majiro engine. But I guess I can still try my luck.
  7. Hey there, I'm a translator and I'm looking for a hacker for Nekoneko Soft's Sanarara R, which seems to be using the Majiro engine. Please help me if you're interested to see this game get translated.
  8. No where in our blog did we say we removed the H-scenes. There is the all-age edition where Key has removed the h-scenes themselves and someone requested for us to making a working patch for that. Your lack of reading comprehension baffles me.
  9. http://gaogaotranslation.wordpress.com/ This is a thread for anyone who played our AIR beta patch and encountered difficulties in running the game. Someone reported that on some computers the game only showed a black screen. Since we can't reproduce the problem, we can't fix the bugs ourselves, so if you encounter such a problem, it'll be appreciated if you come help us solve the problem. Feel free to report any other bugs you've encountered. Script QC are also appreciated but only on the routes not still belonging to the old scripts.
  10. Hi there, I used to translate a bit on the old scripts before real life got me. I hope to help with translation again. I'll be lurking on #vnsociety and #tengutrans, you can find me there. Or just tell me how I should contact you.
