    Hearthstone

Well, this thread sure is rather ded lel. Anyways, I've been playing dragon priest since it became a thing, and have recently crafted ysera to perfect it. Needless to say, it's preeeeeeeeeeeetty good in the current super aggro meta, and doesn't do too bad against control either. I've mainly been climbing with that and freeze mage and it's been working out pretty well. I'm also surprised that not more people are playing dragon priest considering it's only real counter, handlock, is almost non-existent. imo it's the best thing to play atm, I favour it over secret pally because it's not as faggoty doesn't get hard countered by freeze mage which is rather popular atm.
  2. Heh, surprisingly enough I have that problem myself... What makes it surprising in my case is that I've had a rather strong relationship with my sister since we were small. Of course, the fact that we're very close in age (she's one year older) and that I more or less had no other friends when I was younger helps a lot, and makes my case considerably different from yours. The main reason for us two growing apart is that our interests have differentiated widely, we both use to read the same novels, watch the same movies/ anime and talk all day about them and stuff happening in our lives. Now we watch and read very different stuff, and both our lives are basically just studying for uni so there's really not much to talk about. I have tried to connect again, but ended up failing spectacularly. I tried to make her watch madok magica thinking she'd love it, and apparently she really disliked it (note: most girls hate madoka for some reason, not sure why :c). After that I tried a few others, the only one she really liked was FMAB, at which point I had understood that she liked fast paced stuff (like AoT) which I rarely watch anymore, and so again we ran out of things to do together. As for your case, I simply recommend you do the same thing. Watching anime with someone else feels very different from watching it on your own, so be prepared. I'd also recommend you not rewatch something for her sake as you'll then greatly notice the effect of her judgement of the show on you. Pick something that she'd probably like and that you can enjoy too, preferably family friendly (Summer Wars/ Ghibli movies work wonders) I hope she has better taste than my sister Basically this, do it
  3. Well, for one they look kinda nice. It's hard to be too critical considering these are just sketches, but I can definitely say they're an improvement from how they use to look. Looking forward for that demo!
  4. Well, I finally got around to playing this... And I must say, 'twas a very sweet read. The story is touching, the characters are very likable (I was very surprised that you got me to like Mion), the music suitable and the art satisfying. The plot twists in particular are very surprising, and came as quite a shock. It still felt a bit too short tho, and a sequel would be nice A few of the endings also felt pretty meh in comparison to the first and the last (the first being the one with the blue girl). Other than that I have no real complaints. Good job, invertmouse! Looking forward to reading more of your games and seeing what you make in the future
  5. That video is pretty damn old... Yet still entertaining As for waifus, I don't personally really get the concept that much. So you're waifu is basically the most anime/VN/LN/Manga girl you like, nice. What I don't understand is the unnecessary comparison between the waifu relationship and the regular romantic relationship. They're so different that discussions that go along the lines of "My waifu is better than any irl girl!" seem pathetically childish and pointless... That said, Kurugaya is best waifu
  6. Eh, can you bring examples of these VNs with a lot of bullying? I haven't read much, but I don't recall any out-of-the-ordinary bullying.
  7. I didn't know Rooke can shitpost too Well, people naturally use that which is easier to use. In this case, I'd rather use my phone GPS than a map, and one pleb who doesn't know how to use a GPS ain't gonna change my mind
  8. Dude, your formatting... Can a mod fix that please? It just hurts my eyes so much Also, when you cop/paste from a site, try at least give a link to it. And put what was copied in quotation marks, and any words you personally want to add outside. Crediting the author is also nice. 9. So you finally did it eh. Does a complete noob have a chance of joining, and how many hours does a game usually take? I have no idea about this game at all, but I've heard enough about DND to be interested in trying it
  10. Chihaya is a pretty likable character, it's just that her route really didn't focus on here, and she ended up getting the least characterization out of all the main heroines by far. Hence it's understandable why she might be considered the least liked heroine by most, including myself. I don't dislike her though, honestly I like all of Rewrite's heroines, she'd just be the last on my least
  11. Dude, did you see the game Stray cat did recently? The one about finding information about members. No prizes or anything, but 26 people joined and I think we all had a fun time.
  12. Because there are better podcasts jk One thing I would like to point out is that, while you're not the only one who does stuff on the forum, you're probably the only one who does the kind of things you do. They are at the end, luxuries. Not all forums have giveaways or forum games or community podcasts, and you happen to be the only one here, aside from that one time Rose did one, who does it. You seem to be expecting other people to start doing these activities or for them to renew their interest in your new ones. Alright, time for a bit of brutal honesty: They're not as good. Your old activities had more interaction for us, mainly the games. I don't think most people here would prefer watching you dance over playing the games you created, like the card game thing or the riddles thing. A bit more organization of the games would also be nice, I recall the other team not making a move and you not doing anything about it for like weeks until both sides got bored. Maybe brain storm new ideas and make a poll to see which one people want more? How about asking people what podcast topic they would prefer to talk about? But if you chat on the TS all day and then decide to do a fitness training stream out of the blue, don't expect staggering results. There's a lot you can do Ren. You have great potential, and while people might be lazy and guilty, you have to realize you can be just as lazy and guilty. I don't mean to hurt you, but by this point I don't think anything but brutal truth can make a difference. Peace out man.
  13. I'm just stating what I think the real problem is, I'm not complaining at all. I do check here from time to time, I don't come here because I'm forced to or anything. You seem to be upset Shu, but all I'm saying is what I think is the truth. Can you think of a solution?
  14. And that's what I do, I just don't do it on the forums. It's like talking with your friends outside of school. If that's all you went to school for, then why go there if you can hang out with them in a cafe? It just feels unnecessary
  15. I say the reality is that people are focusing into groups. This is especially true for anyone who comes to FSG (the Fuwa Skype Group), where you then go to smaller groups for specific games and activities. The Hearthstone group over there is probably more active than this entire forum. And I'm not really sure if that's a bad thing of a good thing. Why talk on the forum when I can talk on Skype with the same people for direct replies? If I feel like talking about VNs, I talk to the main group, if I feel like singing I go to the Karaoke group, and if I feel like listening to people talk Japanese for some reason I go to the Japanese group. This means the forums ends up kinda ded, but I don't think there's anything to do about it. People want convenience, and if the most convenient way for me to talk is on Skype or the TS or whatever small chat group you belong to, then that's that.
  16. Considering Rewrite's exceptional nature, I doubt they're going to take the normal VN anime approach by animating one route and just kinda making everything else happen (Example: Clannad). I do hope they take a Higurashi like approach, animating every route at a time. I know this will likely mean it's gonna take quite a lot of time, but Goddamn it it's friggin Rewrite guys, don't mess this up (also whydahell do we not have any Rewrite emote. I demand justice be done to best VN of all time!)
  17. I find it very surprising that it has not been mentioned yet, but doesn't Fate/Stay Night fit that description perfectly? Most of the sex in there is like "We must have sex because we need mana", which is ridiculous and many people find it to be one of the worst elements of the Visual Novel, but if it's exactly what you're looking for I can think of no better example
  18. I thought the most important thing Konami ever did and still does is print muh YuGiOh cards
  19. Rewrite Rewrite Rewrite Rewrite Rewrite Rewrite Rewrite Rewrite Rewrite Rewrite
  20. I haven't done this in a while WELCOME TO FUWA I hope you find what you're looking for Nao, and have fun
  21. After another long gap, we have 2 new episodes! First off, a good old F/SN review:- And the ever so controversial topic, H-scenes!
