If I can tolerate waiting for both Amayui Castle Meister (progress unknown but not dead) and Gin'iro, Haruka (on Hiatus atm due to Trip being burned out) to finish being translated then I'll gladly wait for Aiyoku no Eustia to finish translating.
Goes to show Stormwolf being negative in this thread was entirely unnecessary, no one agreed to his negative stance to begin with.

Absolutely stoked. If this comes out during winter break this year, it'll be a real treat for us during the holidays. If it doesn't the wait will be a little more painful, but with the amount of care you're putting in, all will be worth it. Congrats!

It is done. The translation is officially 100% done 😃
Progress will now move on to post-translation, where there's TLC and QC to be done. I'm hoping to finish everything else and release the patch by end 2020 (unlikely, but hey, you never know). If not, then at least get the TLC done by end 2020. So do refer to the TLC tab of the sheet for progress on the TLC.
I will save my translation remarks for after the patch is fully released. For now though, rejoice that the translation is done! Yay!

And you're just the typical fangirl when you're not busy picking on people or just acting like some shitbag in general. Just shut up, ok? I'll never see eye to eye with someone like you.

It's not about being negative anymore. It's a fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me situation. Don't be the guy who gets fooled twice or more. This happens more or less with every big fan translation nowadays.

Do you have to be so negative? I doubt any official translation group will pick it up, I doubt August the developer would allow it.
While it is true the translation and editing is almost done the TLC part will still take a while, it's only at 54.65% and only up to Licia at 14.20% done.
Don't expect it to be done this year.

The visual novel is 10 to 30 hours long according to vndb, there appears to be only 3 h-scenes per route.
imho it's a very good visual novel, already rated it a 10 on vndb.

Eushully has no interest in ever releasing their games to the west and I doubt that will ever change.

Honestly Japanese local emulator is never necessary (I don't use it and never will and it doesn't always work), just make sure you have Japanese fonts installed and your non-unicode language is set to Japanese and you shouldn't ever have issues running any visual novel.  Don't listen to anyone who tells you to use Japanese local emulator.

A bunch of people in my groups dropped the VN because of (or at least dismissed) Kasumi. They don't like her generic backstory, because it seems very contrived.

I just finished the route and now I'm laughing my ass off. PRANKED.

They no longer do that (that annoying and completely unnecessary popup is gone when rating a 10 or 1) and I always ignored it anyways as it is the users choice what they rate not VNDB choice.

Trust no one but yourself.  In the end, your thoughts and experiences regarding playing a particular Eroge/Visual Novel is what truly matters.
Don't let the majority's opinion cloud your better judgement. Just avoid reading those lousy review scores and play the Eroges/Visual Novels that interests you straight away!
If you'll only follow the crowd, you're no different from the livestock that roams the endless horizon of the Internet.
Learn to decide for yourself and everything will follow...

Grisaia no Kajitsu isn't rated a 2/10 or anything close to a 2/10. Ergo, the scores cannot be trusted.

Taste is always subjective. I may love something that others think is trash and vice versa, and my scores would reflect that. I, for example, don't like G-senjou no Maou and gave it a 7, while many consider it a masterpiece.
Of course, if there are hundreds of low scores, something is not right with that game - but even that is not certain, as low scores can be due to anything, a poor story, bad characters, it being LGBT [yeah, there are people who would give low scores just because of that], etc.
I think the best way to find out if a VN is good is by reading it yourself, at least the beginning. If that's not possible, look for in depth reviews where the author justifies their scores. What I also do is to see who is the author of the VN and if I like what they write.

Shaun reacted to Dergonu in Koiken Otome Revive TL Project
Hi folks, long time no see. With the recent announcement finally out of the way, I can talk about the future of this project, and the reason it has been somewhat dead for a while. As I start to move into official translation work, I can no longer continue working on fan translations, sadly. Not only do they take time out of my day that I could be spending doing official TL work, but they also put me in a bit of an awkward position, due to the legal grey area fan translations are in. It would be a shame to get in trouble, possily lose a job etc because of my involvement in fan translation. As such, I'll discontinue my translation work on this and other fan TL projects I am involved in.

So, what happens next? Well, I still have the scripts and tools, so if you're interested in taking over the translation, I'd gladly send over the scripts with the current progress. Just send me a PM and we'll talk.
For now I'll just leave the project like this, and wait to see if anyone wants to step in and take over. But, if no one does, I'll just go ahead and pronounce it dead. It is indeed a shame that it came to this, but I have to prioritize my future. Thanks for understanding.
