There is no real problem with the fonts it's just the Japanese Supplemental Fonts aren't pre-installed when you install or upgrade to Windows 10, they have to be manually installed and I really don't know what the problem is with the other guy as there shouldn't be any issue in installing the fonts. Dual booting isn't necessary and shouldn't be recommended.

Check your installed fonts then (it would be in the same location as my screenshot), it might be there already and if so reinstall it. Someone else on a different forum had it already installed but had to reinstall it as it might of been corrupted. Also I wasn't mad even though you seem to think that but sorry anyways.

I'm never given an option to pick a save file every time I run it even if I do save it always starts a new game automatically when I swear it shouldn't be doing that.

For some reason my copy of Fate/stay night (this is the version Fuwanovel used to host) is missing the title screen for some unknown reason Never mind >.>

You need to make sure Japanese Supplemental Fonts are installed, did you even read what the person above you posted? The freezing/crashing issues is due to the Japanese Supplemental Fonts not being installed since they are not installed by default on Windows 10 and I do believe KAM is rather picky about the fonts it uses as it will crash if they are either not installed or are corrupted.

@Novel21 I may be a bit late but why are you asking for help on a visual novel forum for a game that isn't a visual novel? You should have asked that on the forums through the games community hub not through Fuwanovel. None of the "The Legend of Heroes" games are visual novels.

I'm getting an error when trying to run this visual novel: Windows 8.1 64-bit with Non-Unicode in Japanese. Never mind read another thread https://forums.fuwanovel.net/index.php?/topic/6313-comyu-help/ talked about removing version.dll and version.sln they also prevent the visual novel from running on a 64-bit OS.

It's okay the YuukiYunna.exe still works without modification even though I changed the "target" and "start in" for it.

The version Fuwanovel has comes with two shortcuts already setup to use the AlphaROMdiE program "YuukiYunna.exe" and "Launcher.exe". It's funny how I just noticed I've had my VNDB link in wrong on my profile here, what it tells you is too vague to fully understand what you're meant to put there.

It's fine, I just got a bit confused on how to run it at first and the CRC errors Checking.exe gives is likely because the original script.dat isn't there (from the untranslated release) but works just fine.

Just menus, the story is translated.

It is translated just not completely translated, certain parts are still in Japanese I.E. Menu buttons, chapter menu and all settings are not translated.

This would be nice if the copy Fuwanovel has didn't come with a corrupted script.dat file and even that new one is bad the Checking.exe gives a CRC error on the script.dat file and without a working script.dat file it will not run. About the AlphaROMdiE program how do I use it when it's all in Japanese?

Yeah I already got that by using Google Translate but going to try launching it again since uTorrent just finished downloading the missing/corrupt files. Yeah redownloading it fixed the issue so no doubt it must of been missing or corrupted files that was causing the error. I had some major problems with a western digital hdd that caused some file loss or corruption.

^Title^ Just tried to launch Canvas 2 ~Akane Iro no Palette~ that I got off of this site and I am getting an error this is the first time I have tried to launch it after installing Windows 8.1 and I searched through the site and didn't find any other threads with this problem so any help would be great. Edit: Trying to redownload it via the torrent link on this site and it found several files that needed redownloaded so it might of somehow corrupted at some point.

I still remember Yume's Route to this day because in my own opinion it was the best route I cried the most at again that is just my own opinion.

I'm currently running into that issue with Fuwanovels copy of this VN and it does not have that utaware-dvd.exe that you mentioned there is a utaware-dvd.old file (and two other .old files) though but not sure if that is the right file or not. Found the cause I had to have the VN set to window mode in order to make it not crash during that nickname scene. MugenNoSeiKen says: March 5, 2012 at 5:28 am To bypass this, you have to play it in window mode. Then after the Erungaa dialogue, you can return it in fullscreen mode. AFAIK, the game crashes at that point only.

I would say Hoshizora no Memoria gets my vote for most disappointing vn and most wasted potential. The starting was very well done, and even through the character routes the way the theme of 'starry sky' was woven into the story was well done. But the endings themselves failed to impress on the whole, and the debacle with the true end just killed it for me. Great story concept, excellent characters, nice graphics, good soundtrack, all brought down by failed execution. So, in conclusion, my favorite route: The common route. P.S. If anybody who hasn't played this yet reads this, i would like to say that i actually still recommend people to play it, despite all i have said. There is definitely potential there and it has an average of 8 or so on vndb and 85 on egs (ok no idea why vote disparity but whatever) suggesting a significant number of people found it enjoyable at least. I would not call it a must-play but if you have time give it a try, maybe you will be able to appreciate what i can't. I loved every bit of this Visual Novel. I enjoyed all routes, my favorite being The Mysterious Girl route aka Yume. I rated this a 9 on vndb.

I got the walkthrough from this site its on Game FAQ and the walkthrough is rather hard to understand or even follow correctly. The point I am stuck on is this section of the walkthrough: Turn 4 [True] Recruit a commander from prison. If you were not able to recruit a foot soldier last turn, do so now. Otherwise, try to get a recruit with a good negotiation/scout skill, preferably with a cost of 1. Attack Mamushi Oil Field. Attack Mamushi Oil Field. End turn From what I can see there is no mention of Mamushi Oil Field in Sengoku Rance, would be nice if anyone could help me with this.

The Shuffle! VN is actually better then the Anime. I've only beaten Sia's route so far.
