Tsurezure's New Project - Gin'iro Haruka
Shaun replied to littleshogun's topic in Fan Translation Discussion
They released a patch for the first two routes today. Either I'm doing something wrong or the patch they released as issues because nothing is translated with it. Looks like they left the g00 folder in the patch empty thus the reason nothing is translated. A major mistake on their part. https://tsurezurescans.wordpress.com/2020/01/02/giniro-haruka-update-15-7-hinata-route-patch/ Don't bother downloading the patch until they fix their mistake. I wonder how they screwed up the patch this bad when they've had no mistakes like this on their other projects at least as far as I know. So much for reading this now. I hope they're able to fix this mistake as soon as possible. You can grab the first patch for now if you haven't already: https://tsurezurescans.wordpress.com/2019/10/30/giniro-haruka-update-10-5-bethly-route-patch/ The newest patch is missing about 10MB of data because the g00 folder in the patch is empty when it shouldn't be. Seems like it may take a while for them to realize their mistake (8 hours later after I originally made this reply), no updates about it and my replies aren't being seen because "Your comment is awaiting moderation." is what I'm getting when I reply at least I don't think they're being seen, it's probably because I've never really commented on wordpress before though I've had the account for years I believe. Does anyone know if they have a discord available so contacting them would be easier? @littleshogun -
Aiyoku no Eustia Translation Project (Partial Patch is Out!)
Shaun replied to eplipswich's topic in Translation Projects
The translator has already stated that he will release the patch when the side stories are done and not before, some of the side stories aren't related to the main heroines routes. I even have the Eustia Progress Tracker Excel Spreadsheet site as a pinned tab keeping an eye on the progress, that is how much I'm looking forward to it being completed. -

It takes a long time to translate and they have their own lives as well (not to mention they're doing this for free), an ETA probably isn't possible at this point and you shouldn't expect one so early either. A lot of other people are waiting patiently for it to be finished me included, it'll get done eventually. -

Side stories aren't even 50% translated yet, follow this to check translation progress, the link is also found on the first page of this thread. -

The choice is up to you but imho reading the first two routes can give you a good idea if the visual novel will even be something you will like, the translation is really good though, it's a Dark Fantasy themed visual novel just so you know. For me I'm glad I read what is currently translated, I just have to wait for the full translation patch now, I do have a lot of other visual novels I haven't finished yet. -

The side stories aren't even close to being done so I doubt an ETA will be possible until they have a lot more progress, currently only 4.23% of the side stories are done (there are 19 side stories in total), I don't know how often they update the chart though: https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=2AA0C152F3ABC311!169&ithint=file%2cxlsx&authkey=!AMiZoMMtMwT6WaI. I've already finished reading through Fione and Eris's routes so I'm just waiting for the full translation. -

According to VNDB page on the title there aren't any bad ends otherwise it would list them on the tags for it, it uses a Ladder Structure which I believe is a new tag they came up with since when I played Grisaia no Kajitsu (it's one of the titles that has it now) a long time ago I'm pretty sure that tag wasn't there, there aren't that many titles that have it though. I've noticed even if you choose what would normally be a bad choice it actually will choose the right one just with a little extra from the MC. About that website, I did find one from a thread on VNDB but it's in Japanese and can't be translated to English for whatever reason, I've come to the conclusion that a walkthrough guide isn't necessary for this title. -

Is there any way to tell what chapter you're on when reading this visual novel? So far I haven't seen any indication of this, there isn't even a date/time display anywhere. I am enjoying what I'm reading however, wish I would've known about this project but I don't really browse that much on this forum. Does anyone have a walkthrough guide for this visual novel? It's possible I'm on Eris Chapter now since the focus is on her now. -

I wasn't even aware of this translation project until now. -
Wasn't that canceled? The entry for it on VNDB was deleted as well. Looks like they reverted it, it was deleted at one point.

Having issues in-game (Kamidori Alchemy Meister)
Shaun replied to DrakeLightheart's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
That looks like it's an issue with your system, I play it on a desktop and I have never encountered that issue, it's possible you barely meet the minimum requirements to play it, while most visual novels will play fine on low-end PCs there are some that require more power. -

That isn't the problem at all, I have that enabled and don't have hanging at all. Shadowplay never interferes with any game. Also if you don't even have GFE (Geforce Experience) installed you won't even have shadowplay to begin with, you need GFE for that but you need to manually trigger shadowplay for it to even do anything, it doesn't run on it's own. -

My copy displays the same as your first image: I believe this is normal and doesn't mean anything is wrong with your copy. Your friends screenshot appears to have sections that aren't translated (the text you're seeing is Kenji), those shouldn't be showing up at all. About the hanging issue, I don't know about that because I've never had that problem before. -
Go here https://nekonyansoft.com/shop/product/22 for the update, it's free, works on all versions. While there are other sources to buy it from NekoNyan is the main company behind it, all patches come from them. Steam will auto download the lastest patch of course.
-
Do you have the latest 1.04 update installed? Steam users should already have it. I just checked that FC replay and it plays fine, no issues at all.

Both Mashiro and Rika are main heroines not side heroines, calling them side heroines is wrong.
-
I didn't see a single problem with Rika's route.

Interesting, I have SukiSuki as well but haven't finished it, only done one route (Ayame, rather enjoyed it too), makes me want to get back to it since I haven't made any progress on it in a while. Interesting part about Byakko characters, just read that some of them make an appearance.

SukiSuki (Sankaku Ren'ai: Love Triangle Trouble! right?) is just as good (currently reading this one now, H-Scenes are fantastic), also it's called Farther Than the Blue Sky, Byakko is just the name of the rocket club they're in (though it is used as an Aliases on VNDB) and I disagree with this part: "h-scenes in Byakko are "just" good/not bad - they are your typical, run-of-the-mill-eroge scenes", I would almost say they're better in terms of quality than those in Aokana (visual novels with uncensored H-Scenes are always better than visual novels with censored H-Scenes imho), all 4 routes are great and the final chapter has it end with a really fantastic ending. Don't get me wrong I loved Aokana (the H-Scenes being censored I didn't like) but I also really enjoyed the other mentioned visual novels just as much and don't think any less of their H-Scenes, I just give more credit to visual novels that stay away from censorship (not like we can do anything about it, in Aokana's case nothing was drawn underneath the mosaic and the Japanese version came out in 2014). I only like vanilla in H-Scenes myself.

They cover it more with Masya and Asuka's past in the anime adaptation which is a fantastic adaptation, I'm planning on doing a rewatch of the anime soon after completing the visual novel. I went in this order: Mashiro > Rika > Misaki > Asuka (I already said this before). So was Farther Than the Blue Sky Chuablesoft's last title or something? The H-scenes are great in it, the visual novel is really good.
