  1. Yes, it seems the general opinion of people has remained the same. Regardless, I might do this more for my sake than others. I might have been too humble with how my Spanish is. I'm sure it can be read fine, with the essence of the story coming through, however, there will always be minor details missing (probably Japanese jokes or expressions translated into their Spanish equivalents). Eh, either way, someone's bound to read it.
  2. I've seen it. Though I don't know if people have changed their minds. Either way, I might do this if I have some time. Gotta finish reading it first.
  3. Well, my only problem is that the TL might be on par with a machine translation, if not worse. I know a lot of people here hate that.
  4. So I know a good bit of Spanish now, and I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in "Supreme Candy" being translated into English using the Spanish translation currently available. I'm not making any promises, I just want to know if anyone would be interested as I might consider doing it as a side project sometime in the future. (oh yeah, haven't been here in years, no idea where this post goes :p)
  5. I show up every now and then.

  6. Shinigami no kiss has to be the worst visual novel I have ever played. It was boring from the start, with three of the four main characters depressed/monotone. The random comedy scenes didn't fit the atmosphere. There are so many perfect visual novels for me. VNDB seems to frown upon people giving multiple tens, but I can't help it. MLA, Rewrite, and G-senjou are examples. Comyu was close to perfect, but some of the big "plot twists" were predictable. Ever 17 is also an amazing visual novel (which I never finished for some reason). I guess I like a good plot and interesting story. I'm a simple man.
  7. This project is still going strong eh? Good to see it alive, sad to see it struggling. I hope you find a new writer!
  8. Last time I joined a fuwa skype group it was chaotic... I lost something important but I can't remember what...
  9. Reading lot's of visual novels but not active on fuwa for various reasons~

  10. Welcome to fuwanovel, home of some awesomely strange people... and it will soon become your home too... heh...
  11. Away for a week.

  12. This pretty much sums it up. The very end of the ending isn't anything fancy.
  13. Certainly. There's no way we would all learn at the same pace, or understand things the same way, but we could always motivate each other.
  14. 15 kanji a day? That would be too many for me. I like to keep it simple with 5-10, as I may get overburdened with my other studies.
  15. Here is my (late) advice: I unfortunately cannot help with the cracked version, as I cannot read the warning. I can make a good guess though: the game recognizes you are using a cracked version and wants you to purchase a legitimate copy. I cannot speculate any further without the support of another. If you use an uncracked version, there may be a registration system you need to go through, which will require you to enter a code (inside the game's box) during installation (usually). That would explain the user id and password requirments from DMM. DMM is a large Japanese company which deals in many facets of entertainment, and so that login screen is to prevent piracy.
  16. Wait, I just woke up. I guess I'm alive? Or maybe this is a dream...
  17. How large is the entire folder for the visual novel (not the exe)? If it's under 200mb, odds are you don't actually have the visual novel at all. Also... Are you using a japanese locale?
  18. B. I would question my sanity as well as other things...
  19. Hey, why not? Gives a higher chance of survival for those entering the sea of visual novels. So yeah, I'll join this.
  20. I'm not well-versed with Android devices, but I can give you my uneducated guess for your questions. You can use Visual Novel Reader for machine translation on a Windows PC, and you can also do so with the Windows PC version of PPSSPP with some extra difficulty. Machine translating on an android device would depend on a couple of factors: -Does a machine translation app exist somewhere for your device? If not, then it's very unlikely you can machine tl without a lot of work. -What do you want to machine tl? If the visual novel is heavy on system requirements, then you might not be able to run it on a device without the proper specifications. To be honest, most people here don't dabble with machine translations (apart from learning Japanese of course), with even less using Android devices to read visual novels. I replied to this thread primarily so that you can have at least something to work with, but as I am not well versed in Android devices (having never owned one), I probably won't be of much assistance.
  21. Odds are edwd misread where this was posted. No worries if it was posted in the wrong place anyways, since I would just move it around without anyone noticing... usually.
  22. Hurah! I can finally upload every single frame in Naruto!
  23. Welcome to the forums! You have found one of the best places for talking about visual novels. It might be... obvious, but what is you favourite visual novel? Or you can try and remember every single one. Works... sometimes...
