It's not just with her, but with all characters. She never uses pronouns ever. Other people don't seem to mind, but it really bothers the hell out of me for whatever reason.

Yes, they are good. I'm in contact with quite a few translators and every single one of them has had nothing but bad things to say about the WA2 translation. And from my perspective, it doesn't look great, either. I'm sorry, but that's just how it is. We're not the only source for translation status news. Reddit, 4chan, and erogegames have all removed it from their lists for similar reasons. 

I'm currently helping with another translation (Dracu Riot) and don't even have enough time for that as it is.

The version of IC that was first released was extremely bad, much worse than it currently is. The current version was edited and "translation checked" by someone who didn't know Japanese just like you're doing with Coda, so most of the accuracy issues remain. The whole project just leaves a bad taste in our mouths for these kinds of reasons. I'm sorry that we aren't covering the project you're involved in but we feel justified in our actions and aren't going to reverse them for the time being. Maybe we will reevaluate it further down the line.

1) I am personally of the philosophy that VNs are better off without any translation at all than a bad one. I'm also of the mind that translations that are extremely bad shouldn't be promoted and people should be discouraged from playing those.

2) We do try to be as inclusive as possible in the VNTS, and as such we list some translations that are pretty bad. However, WA2 eclipses those by a lot.

3) The grammar is bad, yes. A better way to put it would be that the writing is bad and engrishy as hell. I would argue the point about there being no fan translations with "really good grammar." Grisaia no Kajitsu is an example of a fan translation that is better written than practically all commercial VN translations, even. Even still, I don't hold fan TLs to that lofty of a standard. However, White Album 2 is FAR below average in terms of writing quality. The work they have released in the past goes into the unreadably bad range.

4) The accuracy is also a major problem. The translators have very clearly made heavy use of machine translation. I do not have any specific examples on hand I can quickly show you, and I don't feel like wasting much time in finding them, but they've been posted all over reddit, vndb, and elsewhere. Many people whom I trust with Japanese knowledge have criticized the hell out of the translation for perfectly justifiable reasons, enough for me to believe that even if an editor went through the extremely laborious task of fixing the broken english, it still would be an inadequate translation not worth promoting.

Look, I really want to play White Album 2 as well. It's easily one of my most desired untranslated VNs, it seems right up my alley. But I'm never going to read this fan translation in full and neither should anyone else. It does a disservice to the VN, its creators, and the fans who have been clamoring for a translation.
