  1. Welcome to Fuwa! Have a Clannad.
  2. ^ Pretty much this. It will be slow, but you'll be converted eventually. You've read hentai game already, so it's just a matter of time. > Welcome to Fuwa! Have a corruption.
  3. Man, no one likes mecha these days! Mecha use to be all hype when I was growing up. What happened to that?! o.o Ah, well, it's all good. It's not so much a mech-oriented anime anyways, so it has something for non-mech fans. Dang, I'd watch episode 3 with you guys, but I'm following Eveyuu for NGNL. They take a little while, but it's worth the wait (especially since they're encoding off BS11). I don't think this anime was meant to be that serious. It's to be expected if it keeps goofing around and trying to be funny. It probably will have some serious moments, though. Also, I decided to take up a friend's suggestion for watching Nanana this season. I actually really like this. It's cute, adventurous, and seems like it could have some really touching moments. The character designs are pretty :3 Also, Master Detective ftw!
  4. @Freestyle80 M3 Spoilers: Seeing how it's Okada writing the story, you'll have to pay really close attention to the plot points she slips in there (her storytelling methods tend to make these far less prominent). At the same time, however, she can just go down the Black Rock Shooter route and not explain anything. But she's been doing that a lot less, so that might not be the case for this particular anime. Just keep watching, I'm sure the origins of the setting will make a lot more sense in the end. Okada's writing won't always make sense if you don't pay attention, but her stories aren't hard to figure out either if she actually explains them. I don't remember any instance of her putting any amount of complexity in her writing. It either makes perfect sense, or it doesn't make sense at all. Just depends on how much she doesn't fuck up (she's really inconsistent). Anyways, I like how dark this anime is. I like Sato Junichi's work for light-hearted series more, but I definitely don't dislike his style for dark either. It isn't something that doesn't suite him.
  5. Pulling out a handful of screenshots from my old hobby gallery. Enjoy~
  6. Saving thread. There's quite a few images under this tag. Pretty large ones too.
  7. That OST in Captain Earth. It gets me every time.

  8. Your joining this forum was the choice of Steins;Gate. El Psy Congroo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TC7RtVJ4OVI
  9. I'm with ya, pal. Let's drink until the girls in Aku no Hana look moe! Welcome to Fuwa!
  10. The new episode of Captain Earth was just fantastic. Opened up some new and interesting themes and the OST continues to amaze me. A lot of people like to compare this to Star Driver apparently, but since I haven't watched that anime, Captain Earth is a completely fresh experience for me. In some ways, it reminds me of Eureka Seven, but just slightly. For the most part though, this anime really does deliver an experience that I have little familiarity with, and it's my favorite this season. Also, Akari Yomatsuri is my favorite girl this season, and the best mahou shoujo hacker ever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPb7LiEmjgE (Uploaded this personally.)
  11. I'll download a 1080p upscale if I'm not watching any fansubs for a particular series. But since I tend to mostly follow fansubs, I'll put down 720p for my vote. I'll stream an anime on CR if I really want to watch it as soon as it is simulcasted (and not wait for Horriblesubs to rip it), but there's only ever been a few anime where I've actually done that. My first one was Gintama, 2nd was Kokoro Connect, and I forget what my 3rd was. I'm actually about to start doing the same for Captain Earth now that it's got me really interested. I usually don't re-watch something in BD unless it's something I really enjoyed (it'd have to be in my top 20 for that to happen).
  12. I like No Game No Life's OP just a little more than Black Bullet, but just a little. I'm a huge Konomi fanboy, so that's to be expected. That said, having both her and fripSide in one season is just epic. o.o https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1FzwVt2Ilw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eqSckSca_A
  13. I just started Air now that Sheeta's patch has been released. Been a really nice read so far. Damn I miss Misuzu so much. <3 Out of curiosity, I decided to go with one of the choices in the common route that unlocked an H scene just to confirm the rumors. God, to call those scenes horrible is an understatement. I have made up my mind to go through all the choices that do not include H scenes. I don't want to have any more of a scarred image of Misuzu than I have already. It was absolutely atrocious. Otherwise, this is still a fantastic game. I haven't watched the anime in a while so I'm not quite sure how to compare it right now. But from what I do remember, Misuzu feels slightly different (I could be wrong). I'm sure I'll notice more once I get to Summer and Air.
  14. You want U.S. citizenship, señor?
  15. Mine came in today. God, I'm so happy! ☆*・゜゚・*\(^O^)/*・゜゚・*☆ I took a few pictures too. The quality isn't that good since my camera kinda sucks.
  16. Kamidori had so many great H scenes. My favorites are the ones with Kohakuren (her voice is so damn sexy). I liked Kosame's and Yume's H scenes in Hoshizora. Can't remember which ones I specifically liked the most in Fate/stay night, but that game had some good H too.
  17. Unfortunately, this is just a random art. No related anime or visual novel.
  18. Once I learn enough Japanese for it, I plan on re-playing that too. It'll be nice going through that without having to deal with the damn memes and stuff. Figuring out how to get rid of the dolphins also put my mood off.
  19. I discovered this glorious thing called Twitter. Makes following stuff a lot easier. Does anyone else use it?
