  1. Agh, why didn't I think the problem was with my headset?! I've been wracking my brain for the last few days trying to figure it out, and I finally found the fix. Turns out to be a really easy one too. I tried switching from my headset to my speakers and noticed that the voice acting actually worked on my speakers. I looked on Razer's support site for ideas on how to troubleshoot my headset, and I came across this entry on how to reset to factory default (http://www.razersupport.com/gaming-audio/razer-megalodon/). Well, turns out it did the trick! Just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone that gets a similar issue.
  2. Is that title on VNDB? I can't seem to bring that up on a search. Better yet, what VN is the route from?
  3. I think I might know what's causing the problem. Are you posting any links with http:// in those comments? If so, you might want to remove that segment when linking to another website. Like, for example, posting https://fuwanovel.net/ would keep you from saving it in the comments, but posting fuwanovel.net/ would be fine. Your username would be my reaction to his username, lol.
  4. I'm not sure what happened here, but I can't seem to get the voices in Air to work anymore. At first, I used a version of Air that had the voice acting already in it. I can't remember what version I downloaded and I applied Sheeta's patch to it afterwards. I was able to get the voices to work at first, but then I took a little break for about a month, and it doesn't have any voice acting at all (I tried restarting the game to the segments where I know there should have been voice acting). I tried switching to the version on Fuwanovel, but I'm not having any luck with that either. I'm not sure if this version is suppose to have the voice acting included or not since I couldn't find any information on the entry's page, but I'm wanting to assume it is since there was a voice adjustment in the settings (which I also checked to make sure it wasn't muted). The background music still runs fine. Since I last played Air, I have downloaded a couple sound codecs for audio encoding, but uninstalling those didn't seem to do anything. I've also tried the regular troubleshooting like restarting my computer, running the file as admin, and my unicode is set to Japanese. Also, I'm running on a Win7 OS. I'm pretty much at a loss on what to do, so I thought I'd turn to you guys. ;^^ Update: Okay, so apparently I'm not able to hear voice acting in any VN at all. How do I even... Agh, damn it! This includes Grisaia, which doesn't even need a patch for voices.
  5. Damn it. You guys talking about Kurumi is making me want to watch DAL's sequel. Still kinda hesitant though. ._. It'd be the same for me, but I still didn't like the first season enough to watch the sequel. I'm with ya, too. Kurumi is best girl. Kotori is nice, but she's nowhere near as interesting. These people just have weird tastes. (¬‿¬)
  6. Well, I just caught back up with WIXOSS. Plot's getting more interesting now. Also, the level of cruelty has almost reached Madoka-tier with the latest episode. o.O This show's actually getting exciting for once. I'd expect nothing less from the guy directing it. Like with Steins;Gate, he gives a slow build-up in the first half and lets everything loose in the second. Sasuga, Sato Takuya. Okada did a great job writing the plot twist in this episode too.
  7. I was so distracted by a half-naked lala that I almost missed a spin, lol. http://osu.ppy.sh/s/106328 Edit: This song is so catchy and fun to play.
  8. That was weirdly enjoyable. o.o
  9. Maybe I'll fandub every song I decide to record! It'll be the best Osu-based channel on youtube!
  10. Really? I thought I knew someone that used Blip as an alternative, but I guess I could have been off. Didn't know you couldn't use it for regular streams. Are there any sites that aren't as anal as youtube about copyright?
  11. Taking my videos down because of a damn copyright for Asphodelus. Might switch to Blip later. I didn't think I'd get much notice since it was an Osu vid. =/ That's some really shoddy porn. =/
  12. I like getting distracted by cute girls in the background when trying to complete a song. :> Seriously, that Kumin is overkill! http://osu.ppy.sh/s/144190
  13. Thanks! And yep! One of my greatest aspirations is to be an osu click masta! I want to be able to spin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxEQ7Gizi1o. Pretty boss how he can get 450 spins using a mouse like that.
  14. For the Eroge's Sake!!!! How did he do it!? Oh shit. o.O Also, I got both 750 and 1000 achievement in one song! My heart went full doki doki in the last stretch. I was on the verge of passing out, lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8kl7XZdfCE Found better software for recording and encoding too. At first I was using Fraps + Handbrake, but I made a switch to Dxtory + Virtualdub. Still need to make some adjustments to the audio (maybe), but at least the video doesn't lag anymore!
  15. Got my first S on a 5-star today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zkb3AnaAVDQ Not a particularly hard song, but I still feel like I achieved something!
  16. SS with 3 mods. Not bad, bro. I've only played using the doubletime nightcore mod (for the lulz), but I haven't tried anything else yet. Nice choice of song too. I had a lot of fun with that one. Have you tried the map for Hoshizora's ED? It's so nice. ^^
  17. Started playing a few weeks ago. Having a great time with this game! - Kenshin_sama (standard)
  18. Flutterz, that is the funniest gif I've seen in a while!
  19. Well, at least you realized what you were in for after developing common sense. I started Shippuuden shortly after high school. I watched the first series when it first started airing on Toonami and my friends pushed me to eventually watch the rest online (which included Shippuuden at the time). Unfortunate mistake. But HxH is definitely a long-runner that's worth picking up.
  20. -For me, I like to have characters that I can grow attached to enough to cry for when a drama scene comes up for them. -Serious effort put into writing scenarios. If a game can send shivers down my spine, it's done a fantastic job. -I like it when something starts slow for the sake of building up, and then delivers something epic later on. -OSTs that keep me from falling asleep. This is especially important in the common route since I tend to hate common routes. -CGs. I'm the type of guy that can appreciate a well-drawn cg more than animation because of the amount of detail they put in the art (not quite as easy to pull off and keep consistent in regular animation). I'm very straightforward when it comes to enjoying entertainment. I find it to be a nice compliment, but I don't particularly care about thematic depth. As long as the work can deliver something emotionally gripping, I can make due without it (although the works that do have high emotional impact tend to have thematic depth anyways, lol). I also don't entirely care about the number of sprites; however, it does bother the heck out of me when a character with some significance in the story isn't given a sprite at all. My interests aren't limited to certain tropes and I have a very wide range of interests in various genres.
  21. Yeah, but he's looking for English translated games. Unfortunately, the only Favorite game with a completed English patch right now is Hoshimemo. Anyways, I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon and recommend Little Busters as well. The game is just too great! What? They have Fate/stay night on the starter list? That's probably something you should save for when you get used to lengthy VNs (the length could easily deter a lot of beginners). Not saying it's not a great game, but I wouldn't call it beginner friendly.
  22. I wouldn't entirely agree with this due to the H scenes in Saya no Uta and Fate/stay night. Those two games actually do manage to incorporate certain plot elements into their H scenes and I thought they were pretty interesting. I actually liked them for something other than their direct sex content (I didn't even like the sex in Saya since the art didn't really fit my preferences).
  23. No drop policies are painful. Mahou Sensou would have been the anime to make me drop that policy if I weren't watching Naruto Shippuuden (I use to do the same thing, but now I have 11 dropped titles on my list). It's not worth it, man! Just drop your drop policy and make life less miserable. XD I mean, heck, I'd be following a few shitty long-runners if I didn't. I don't think I could stand to watch any more Aikatsu or Saint Seiya Omega.
  24. Am I the only sane person out there that actually likes the potential plot direction in Captain Earth? Damn shame that such quality has to go unrecognized. Personally, I have Captain Earth as my 2nd favorite anime this season. It reminds me of Eureka Seven in some ways. Shoot, I remember having this kind of reaction to SAO. I thought it was pretty interesting when it first started airing and I ended up picking up the LN. I like the LN infinitely more than the anime, but it was still enjoyable to watch (the soundtrack was especially glorious).
  25. She is cute. I really need to watch Dog Days one day, I heard it's really fun. And who could forget the oh so lovable Kanon girls?! Makoto best girl.
