  1. Fucking love Chata. <3 Also, this is a nice map. 1st time doing rotating sliders too. It was really fun. I'll likely be able to FC this map once I get my new mouse pad. Still hard as heck to move my mouse around with my current one, but I'm putting up with it for now. Also overcame this obstacle I've had with hitting fast streams and triple notes. I've been using 1 key up until now since I could never get use to pressing 2. But that, unfortunately, has some hard restrictions. I thought I could up my speed a little and eventually adjust to it, but those beats are just too fast for one keystroke! I still can't get the hang of using two keys either, it just feels weird to me, but I've decided to start using key+click for those particular notes. So instead of just tapping 1 really fast, I hit 1+click+1 for the triple notes and streams. Probably a weird way to play, right? This is what I imagine dual wielding would feel like in Osu, lol!
  2. I've enjoyed NGNL since the start, but it wasn't until episode 7 that I became horribly engrossed in the experience. It's likely due to this thing I have for philosophy. Despite all the previous works I've read that have some kind of philosophical theme, the one that Sora had on humanity was something I've never had the chance to come across. There have been stories in the past that have covered this particular theme, but they've never been delved into this explicitly and I've yet to see this idea covered so accurately. It adds an unbelievable amount of depth to Sora's character and to the writing of this series in general. I can't help but applaud the original writer for his genius, and I'll definitely credit Madhouse for adapting the story as well as they have (especially with how well they managed to maintain the story's thematic depth). That episode also put Sora at the top of my list of favorites this season. Since the season started, he's been sitting at 3rd with Kaori and Tensai as my top 2, but that philosophy. Actually, now that I think about it, Sora kinda somewhat reminds me of Kumagawa from Medaka Box. http://myanimelist.net/character/36753/Misogi_Kumagawa
  3. Nosebleed, avoid Nanoha doujins like the plague. They pretty much have everything you hate about doujins. I personally love them though. Had to get use to a seeing a sadistic Nanoha, but it was worth it for the tentacle rapes! Also, I don't mind seeing girls I know turn into futas.
  4. My first anime was either DBZ or Sailor Moon. Can't really remember. My first manga was Chobits. Read this in high school. I think this is when I started down the ero path.
  5. My two preferred tags are loli and tentacle. I prefer tentacle rapes that don't look painful, but those are pretty rare. I also read a random manga from John K Peta and it had semen coming out of a girl's nose while giving oral. Good stuff! I probably won't be reading his works, though. If you haven't found them already, I'd suggest following Flatopia as well. Releases aren't as frequent as the other groups, but they work exclusively on flat chests doujins and generally good quality. Most of their works aren't loli, but they do come out with them occasionally. One of my all-time favorite vanillas were translated by these guys, too! Unfortunately, they got hit with copyright and no longer have that particular work hosted on their website, but you can find it on Fakku. It is vanilla, so there won't be any hard fetishes here, but it's seriously adorable. I highly recommend it! On that note, I think large breasts in doujins are obnoxious. >.<
  6. It really is a shame. Sometimes I would keep rewinding back to the OP just because I wanted to watch that more than the actual anime. Even more so for the 2nd season (seeing how the anime actually managed to get worse in the sequel). It did have some fun moments at least, but not enough to pull it above average for me. And yeah, Gochuumon's OP is adorable. :3 Has anyone heard Eureka Seven's 4th OP? This is one of the OPs that started my love for Japanese music.
  7. For me, a moe central anime has to have a certain kind of atmosphere to it in order for me to enjoy it. K-on is one example of moe with the perfect blend of atmosphere and fluidity, and it compliments the cuteness exceedingly well. Granted, I'm never going to an anime with its only focus being on moe as much as other shows, but I definitely do consider them relaxing and enjoyable (sometimes even funny). I'd also consider Mikakunin another exemplary model for moe anime done right. Granted, it did also have a degree of seriousness with it and took its time to subtly develop the romance, but the girls were still exceedingly adorable. Kobeni is so waifu. <3
  8. Hope you guys don't mind me posting 20. I had a list set up beforehand, so I'll just be pasting it here! 1. Gintama' 2. Gintama': Enchousen 3. Steins;Gate 4. Clannad: After Story 5. Gintama 6. 9. Also, what do you guys think of the latest update? I think it's made the game a lot more enjoyable for me. I'm a very structured person and I've always used the difficulty tab to sort through maps that I can use to improve on. It's really nice not having to guess how hard a song is based on the difficulty setting and stars. Not the sections are actually organized to where you can group up the maps of similar difficulty. It was so easy for me to get good enough for 5-star songs because there were only a few 4-stars that were exceedingly harder than the others in that grouping. But once you hit the 5-star section, you can have one song that's only 1/4 as difficult as another in the same group, and there were even a good number of insanes that could be easier than some hards. I definitely approve of the 10-star structure! It's a lot more flexible and removes a lot of ambiguity with beatmap difficulty. Not only that, but I can also plan out my practice sessions more effectively. And my new practice structure is going smoothly. I never thought I'd be able to FC this map so soon (some parts are ridiculously tricky). Actually got a damn good percentage on this, too.
  10. Idk what happened with me and Love Live. I remembered thoroughly enjoying season 1, but season 2 doesn't seem to click with me. I put it on hold after episode 5 since I was having a hard time keeping up with it weekly. I'm not sure if it's just being handled differently or if my tastes have just changed since then. I want to say it's the latter since I haven't come across anyone else who has liked first season, but not second.
  11. Oh yeah, I remember watching a scene on youtube (involves pocky) that got me interested in starting Ga-Rei. Minor spoiler, but click here if you want to see what I'm talking about!
  12. (It's because he's hugging Kud!) (Seriously, my face would be as red as the Kool-aid Guy's if I were in that situation!) I like your spats! (✿◠‿◠)
  13. I don't think my body would be able to handle that. It needs to happen! About DAL. From what I understand, the LN was suppose to be more serious and focus more on the characters. That's probably why you see occasional shift between the two (DAL's adaption has some horribly inconsistent writing). I really do feel that if they wanted to tone down the seriousness that made the LN work, they should just go the full original route and set a more concise goal for the work. The tone shifts really don't do anything to help their standing. I'm glad that it is at least boosting sales for the LN (I want to start it too, one day), but still. Glad I decided to put off the 2nd season.
  14. Haven't heard any kind of news about another group wanting to pick it up. Damn shame since I'm really interested in it as well. The manga had an abrupt ending (which is to be expected since it's a manga adaption of a VN), but it did cover enough ground to get me interested in the VN. The girls are cute, and I think the premise is interesting as well. All we can do at this point is pray.
  15. That explains things. I always thought that as long as you could FC with a mod, the % wouldn't matter and you'd still gain pp, but I suppose that's only true on certain maps/mods. I did recover the lost points after a bit, but I thought it might have been some kind of bug with the way the client displayed my scores. But I suppose it makes sense now that you bring it to mind. Yeah, it actually works out for me as well. I guess I'm severely lacking in the skill department. Whenever I come across a song I don't know in multi (and it's not too far below my skill level) I tend to miss high combos and generally low scores. But I can hit them pretty easily once I've gotten the hang of it. I don't mind playing the same song to some degree either. I'll usually put it off after 5 attempts or so, but I can play the same song for an hour if I really want to achieve something with it. That's how I was able to HD Kyouki Chinden on Hard. I loved playing that map so much and I really wanted to get the most performance I could from it. Achieving an FC with that mod felt really satisfying as well (one day, I'll come back and do an HR + HD for it).
  16. Granted, but now the world has fewer marketing niches and ultimately destroys everything that makes anime so rich. I wish every girl wore tiny mini-skirts!
  17. I know for sure he wrote Nagisa and Afterstory. I could be wrong, but he may have written Tomoyo as well (having a hard time finding an info source to verify). It'd be a lot easier to tell if I read the work myself since he does have a very distinct style of storytelling (he's one of my favorite writers).
  18. I don't think the update was meant to get rid of farming entirely, but to remove ranking through just farming. Farming for scores alone is one thing, but I think the intent of the update was to focus on farming a song with improvement in mind. Considering the game's ranking system and structure, I think the current system is not bad at all. It wouldn't take all that much effort to just complete a song, even if you are upping the difficulty. I'm not even skilled enough to FC most hards, but I can complete them with very little effort, and doing a large number of hards could put me on par with another who performs well on individual maps. I have a pretty solid DL speed and a lot of space on my HD to store songs and could easily up PP if they were using the old system. All I'd have to do is DL a beatmap pack, finish every song that was in it, and move on to the next one.
  19. I'm so bad, I can't even FC this map on auto. >.< Otherwise, the fireworks at the end were fantastic. Epic map is epic.
  20. If Mangaka-san continues the trend that it has with episodes like this, it's gonna be hard to choose a pairing to ship. Mihari was nothing short of adorable this episode. :3 This anime is so ridiculously rom-com! And I'm glad it doesn't try to be anything else (otherwise, it'd lose its charm).
  21. For all VNs before Rewrite, Maeda Jun is pretty much the only one capable of making a worthwhile storyline. You may still like the other routes though, but his stories are generally where the Key hype comes from. Maeda's routes really are amazing, but Key's games are unfortunately bogged down by the mediocrity from the other writers. Air is especially notorious for the poorly written side routes. Also, the dorm manager has a route? Holy shit!
  22. Looks like I'll be taking a break from Osu until I get a new mouse pad. Had this one for more than a year and it's gotten to the point to where I have to water it down pretty frequently to get my mouse to move properly. Once I have my mouse pad thing situated, I'd like to join in on some multi's with you guys too. I'm still at 481pp, but I'm sure I'd still benefit from the practice.
  23. Granted, but the marshmallow is burnt, the chocolate is droopy, and the graham crackers are made of plastic. I wish ecchi anime had better fanservice.
