  1. This particular title is a fandisc of a game released by Mangagamer. For this reason, it is unlikely to get translated unless Mangagamer does it themselves. As for this forum, while some people willing to translate visual novels may be around at times, there really is little point in making threads asking for a title to be translated, for anybody that could and wanted to do so would likely start or find projects for what they're interested in, not a random request. So, ultimately, this is simply a forum for VN fans, and some people doing translations make threads here, but that does not mean that this is a forum dedicated to translations or translators.
  2. I would prefer to only have one installed at a time, but in reality I have all sorts installed at all times, and pick and switch as I see fit.
  3. I've actually played Umineko, though I'll freely admit like 60% of it went over my head when I played it. Could you explain what you mean? Adequately spoiler-tagged, of course.
  4. Happy Birthday to the little baby @Fiddle.
  5. It's really hard to come up with a title to describe this! Basically, I am looking for stories with villains that are just slightly below the limit. Villains that are just slightly good enough to be the lesser evil. Villains that are despicable right bastards, but probably better left off as they are. Villains with conniving plans that outwit the heroes and win, because they tempered their ambitions and are doing just enough to stay legal or to be overlooked. Consider, for instance, villains who absorb too much power and go crazy, or turn into monsters. Instead of that, I'd like villains who stop before it's too late, who do not give in to temptation. Who keep the power and victory, without the crazy and destruction, avoiding the negative consequences for them and the world. A villain who wins, and does not necessarily make the world a worse place. A person you love to hate, because they are reprehensible and trick us constantly, but ultimately necessary or better for the place. I'm going to spoil Monster Girl Quest in order to better describe what I like: I'm going to spoil Ace Attorney 6 for the same reason: I'm going to spoil Psycho-Pass for the same reason: This recommendation can be from anything: Visual Novels, Anime, Manga, Light Novels, or other things you might think of.
  6. Saw a twitter post about expressing one's main flaw, so I went ahead and did it. Here is it as well for the forum. Confession: I would say that I'm quite selfish, and not even ashamed of it. It means I do not suffer inner conflicts of any kind for prioritising myself and disregarding all others. So, slight apologies for me being an arsehole. This, of course, does not mean I do not suffer from anxiety for other reasons, such as failure to "do what I should do", whatever that means, or complying with "the rules", whatever those may be.
  7. What you're looking for is extremely common in fantasy isekai, for instance, but VNs are a bit different. The part where the protagonist pretends to be weaker than he is (physically or otherwise) can be found in VNs, but naming them would actually spoil the VNs as these cases tend to be plot twists.
  8. On the bottom left, you may find the available themes. Infinite Stomach is a dark theme.
  9. The dark theme remains available within the themes in the bottom left.
  10. @adamstan (Very mad that littleshogun ninja'd me whilst I spent by precious time looking for this tweet.)
  11. Ah, you've found what the point of interest that was calling to me is. I wasn't able to find out what was it that was attracting me to this in particular.
  12. In your example, why use an ellipsis and not a comma whilst retaining the wait command?
  13. I understand. As someone who does not engage with such games, but knows a number of individuals who happily play them, I didn't see much of a negative to Higurashi creating a gatcha for those who want it.
  14. Not to worry. It's more of a gimmick than anything else. It doesn't affect anything other than the dialogue you get, mostly. It's like making choices. What might be a bit stranger is the fact that the common route is very short, and you enter heroine routes very quickly. For Tsujidou-san and Tone Work's games, you would need to purchase the Japanese games and apply translation patches, so that might be a bit complicated. For Rewrite, I would actually recommend waiting for the official release of Rewrite+, which is a better version of Rewrite that comes with the fandisc.
  15. I imagine you aren't interested in Otome like Steam Prison, Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome, or The Second Reproduction? Some of your VNs like Princess Evangile have fandiscs, if you haven't looked into it. I'm not seeing Tsujidou-san no Jun'ai Road on your list, so that might be good. Same for Majikoi, but Jast is going to release that officially eventually. Muv-Luv Extra seems like it'd fit, but a lot of people (not me) don't seem to like it. I'd recommend Shining Song Starnova, if you can survive the weeb text (you get used to it). Chrono Clock is also good. The Da Capo series if it seems interesting to you. Making Lovers isn't on your list for some reason? Rewrite whilst fitting the structure might not be exactly what you're looking for. Little Busters! would be a much better fit. I'm not seeing on your list anything by Tone Work's on your list, but their older games are translated.
  16. Why Tearmoon Empire is marvellous, all other details aside. The narrator narrates like this: "...Those of you who happened to bring a knife may proceed with the cutting, because the irony is so thick that you can all have a piece for yourselves." I can't remember the last time I read something that narrated stuff like this. I love it!
  17. Despite my recommendation I'm in the exact same situation. I've never actually read the books, only (repeatedly) watched the anime. Now I'm waiting for the right mood to read them.
  18. I've read a volume of Tearmoon Empire. It is absolutely phenomenal, for various reasons.
  19. This is simple and complicated simultaneously.
