  1. What are you talking about? Everything's just dandy! I myself have 7 or 8 birthdays a year, all consecutive, as well.
  2. What?! This is a terrible introduction! Where's the oh-so-usual "I'm not good at introductions..." or "Sorry for my English..."? Can't you see that's the standard? This introduction is way too flawless and natural. Re-do it, lad. Get to it, Chop-Chop! Whenever you're finished, here's my welcome post. Copied straight out of all my other tens of dozens of them. Also, as you have probably noticed, I'm always serious.
  3. Welcome! I sincerely hope you'll enjoy you're stay here, lad. Here's an image for you:
  4. In general, I'd say that it would save everyone some trouble if you lads were to read what I type. I even made it bold, you muppets. I appreciate the suggestions gentlemen, but it's a bit depressing for me to have this huge catalog of games which I'll only be able to play months from now, when my budget goes back to normal. Q_Q I'm a bit too skeptical of that, so I'll pass on the Japanese titles, lad. While this would be wonderful, this is what's most likely to happen: -Begin studying Japanese; -Learn a lot of stuff and generally make progress; -Suddenly become too busy. As it happens, while for now I have an awful lot of free time, my work comes in bursts, and I literally can't spend my time in anything other than work when it does come, so I don't really have the conditions for a continued project like that. If you check my VNDB it will save you the trouble of typing posts which, although well-intentioned, won't help anyone ;P Thanks for all the suggestions. This has helped me decide some things for now. Further suggestions are welcomed, but I'll be good for a while now.
  5. Welcome to the forums, lass. Fantastic organization on that post. Here's an image:
  6. Thank you for the clarification. In which case, I'd assume you've played I/O? What genre is it from?
  7. Is that so..? I had heard of this visual novel, but I was under the impression that it was something like I/O revision II. BTW, what genre is I/O from? Because I find it ultimately boring, and I think I shoild put that in the OP. VV Also, take no offense when I essentially say "Y U NO PAY ATTENTION, U MUPPET" when I correct the suggestions. I don't actually mean for them to be taken that way Also, adding another condition, licensed games are good and all, but I don't have a budget to go on a rampage at the moment. Since I've already got plenty of suggestions on that front, I'd prefer if the suggestions were games not available for sale in English.
  8. I had hoped that people would notice from my list that they're all english translated, but in the end, it's my fault for not making it clear. I'm afraid I can't read Japanese.
  9. http://vndb.org/u68049/list More specifically: Symphonic Rain
  10. That one seems to have potential. And yes, Sci-fi tends to be good. But it's more that I haven't found a visual novel with sci-fi that I haven't enjoyed than that I actually enjoy Sci-fi by itself. If possible, more suggestions are welcome. I'd rather stack up on them now than have to go hunting every week.
  11. Vanished into a black hole. Either that or Miyako's route should be done sometime this month. Exams are once again starting for the translator.
  12. http://vndb.org/u68049/list Specifically, this title: Kyokugen Dasshutsu 9-Jikan 9-Nin 9 no Tobira
  13. I have seen some visual novels with the default Auto-read like this, yeah. I don't understand who they think their target audience is. Even if you don't understand english very well, you shouldn't need 10 seconds after the voice acting to read a sentence. If you do need it, you either made the wrong choice to buy this game, or you shouldn't even be using auto-mode in the first place.
  14. I... honestly don't know what to call it. Anyways, I've finally run out of stuff to read, since I usually go with my gut when choosing visual novels. <-- Somewhere in that general direction you can find my VNDB list, so you can see what I've read. Everything and anything inside that list (no matter whether I've read it or not) means that I've already seen them and you don't need to suggest them. Any of the Key stuff, even if it isn't there, you don't need to suggest. Now here's some specifics on what I like and dislike, as well as what I'm looking for (examples in brackets): -I tend to enjoy Romance Visual novels (Key stuff). I enjoyed lot's of them, but sometimes it just doesn't click with me. (Da Capo and sequel, I've read/am reading both of them, and yet I seem to find them way too boring, even when I'm already in a route) -Fantasy is fine. -Action is passable, literally. (In both Rewrite and Fate/Stay Night, I skipped all the action sequences. In fact, I skipped the whole of Terra route in Rewrite, since I found it boring; however I read the whole of Grisaia no Kajitsu, which had some as well, if I'm not mistaken) -Dark stuff is not. I avoid bad ends like the plague and generally never unlock the bad ends in the visual novels I play. -I have no interest in sports. -Mystery is generally amazing. -Sci-fic tends to be good. Protagonist traits: -See Yamato from Majikoi, manipulative, cheater, and uses his brains. -See Yuuij from Grisaia. -See the protagonists from Sharin no Kuni and G-Senjou no Maou. These are my preferred protagonists, but these are not required. I can put up with most protagonists. I also prefer females. I can only read English (and Portuguese, but that's irrelevant). Suggest away! And ask me for more info if you feel it's necessary.
  15. Like many other people, I usually use it when my hands are otherwise occupied while I'm reading. But I have read some with auto-mode before, after tweaking the settings for half an hour.
  16. Grisaia and Rewrite both had comedy in their common routes, I'd say that's why I enjoyed them so much. It seems other people prefer an actual plot.
  17. Tsundere's these days vary a lot. As you say, I too find the Tsundere's who are more inclined to use violence and treat the MC like utter garbage for no good reason quite annoying. Especially if the protagonist just takes it all without complaint. But I also see that some of my favourite characters are tsundere's. It really depends on a whole lot of factors. Generally speaking, the tsunderes who warm up to the protagonist permanently are the ones I prefer. The ones who seem to be ill-spirited all the time except in some very private moments are the ones I'd like to see at the bottom of the ocean.
  18. It is all a matter of opinion, lad. That "pointless drivel" of yours were some of the best moments for me. But I understand that people generally believe that the common route was too long.
  19. I use them everyday, and I use a lot of them too. But I'm still no good at using words. So I'll make this simple. Hope everything goes well for you. And I'm looking forward to new stuffz.
  20. Oh, yeah. I accidentally found this visual novel and I thought that it was fairly interesting. "Maybe it'll be decent" I thought. Ha! How foolish I was back then
  21. Don't you know that all translation teams that quit midway through need to set the hardrive with all the progress on fire and throw it into the bottom of the ocean?
  22. You need to be like me, someone who carefully chooses all the images he links. And welcome to the forums, Mr. Crow. I hope you enjoy your stay. Have an image:
