  1. I'll just repeat what I said earlier...:"As for people saying that a route is bad because it's long, that has no basis on anything whatsoever. Length has nothing to do with quality, except for the fact that quality is lost the more it's stretched (which could be the argument they tried to make)." And hopefully this time you get my point.
  2. Can almost understand your character, 10/10 introduction. Welcome, lad. Just go and enjoy your stay. And have an image:
  3. I applaud you sir. I dislike using smilies, but sometimes they're necessary to catch the fact that I'm joking/trolling (mostly the latter). It seems my signature is doing it's job of alerting people to that fact. Your argument is that a bad short route is as bad as a bad long route. Subjectivity has no relevancy here. Longer hell is always worse than shorter one. As for people saying that a route is bad because it's long, that has no basis on anything whatsoever. Length has nothing to do with quality, except for the fact that quality is lost the more it's stretched (which could be the argument they tried to make).
  4. Yep, I keep on forgetting things I've already watched, like Hyouka. I'll also need to adjust my scores, I can't have a bunch of masterpieces
  5. Have you read the topic title? Anyhow, you have a point. But a long common route will be a longer hell than a short one, that's why people are making this connection.
  6. Alright. If you check my Anime List now you should get a feel for my tastes. Beware, just because I dropped an anime does not mean I didn't enjoy it, most of them have actually got good scores. I just can't stand when a series drags on to eternity because the protagonist and his love interest never start dating.
  7. I have a little bit of a bias against giant robots... But Full Metal Panic was a pleasant surprise (That protagonist was brilliant). Looking into Ginatama and Envangelion (which I'm skeptical about). Certainly watching Kara no Kyoukai. Now here's the thing, I'm in this situation where the Comedy/Slice of life can be the best thing ever and I'll watch them all, or not, and I'll put it on hold permanently until I get in the mood to finish it. I'll also add some info I remembered about my favourite situation.
  8. Backstory: So, this will be fairly unspecific but... I'd like you people who've watched way too many anime to suggest me stuff. Below are my tastes. Likes - Romance, Sci-Fi*, Mystery, Drama (not too sad if you can help it :'c), Comedy** Dislikes - Sports, Action*** *I like a Sci-Fi setting, but something solely about Sci-Fi isn't interesting for me. **I love comedy, I really, really do, but right now I'd prefer stuff with some kind of plot. ***I can live with this, so long as it's not the main focus. I really really like it when a characters personality changes either due to love, or friendship. For example, an anti-social who finds love. Examples of previous setting and premises I liked: I'm currently building my Anime List, but it's severely lacking in titles since I left my list on another PC. The more suggestions come the more accurate it'll get. I know this is terribly unspecific, but so long as you think it's good, suggest away and I can figure it out on my own. Also, please ask if you want more details on something, I'll do my best to answer you.
  9. No, it's the kind of game you're supposed to go into thinking it'll be your average moege story.
  10. Finished a Visual Novel, time for another one. I decided to browse through Fuwanovels list of VN's and just happened to stumble upon Grisaia no Kajitsu. "Maybe it'll be decent" I thought. Ignorance is a bliss.
  11. I was about to post a pic of my black background desktop with about 3 folders, but that joke seems to have already been done pages back... I never got any interest in getting a proper background. You know, in windows 7 and 8, depending on your background the taskbar on the bottom changes colour, and I really hate it when it's anything other than blue, leading me to never change my background.
  12. Argh..! Your tastes are too specific for me, I tend to like everything light-hearted, you seem to be looking for emotional and deep stories. Not my cup of tea... Nevertheless, here's some suggestions: Ever17 has a sequel and a prequel. Both of them are similar, although both are also different in some aspects. Having played G-Senjou, it's a bit strange for you not to have played Sharin no Kuni, you might want to try that. Good luck plowing through all the different suggestions and finding something you like.
  13. You shall have to endure. Bear with it, and you shall be compensated in the near(ish) future (when you reach another route). You can also find a save or ctrl-skip through it, but that's for weak-willed people.
  14. From the point where he says "please do not share any information about this route, for I consider such information spoilers" forward, any arguing is pointless. After all, it's his subjective opinion that any information can spoil him or the mood to play the game. It is obviously not anyones fault if he had been spoiled before he requested that we didn't spoil him, though.
  15. It seems they believe "Yumiko wouldn't want that", so, no.
  16. The religion is already formed, they just need enforcers now.
  17. There's no way you're letting this thread rest, is there?
  18. It's a shame that a honest human being like you has to deal with those two. ),:
  19. Bored people with free time on their hands need not logic for them to start random projects.
  20. I really don't get why they make bad ends bad. I obviously wouldn't want to see my heroine suffer. Please pay no heed to the lack of logic in this post.
  21. They're particularly good if you want to be a dastard toward the girls. Otherwise, I don't think they're too important.
  22. That is precisely the point of the comment I made on that matter:
  23. I'm afraid you're damned, then. Not that this is actually useful for me in the least...
  24. Exactly. I got bored and just skipped it. Funnily enough, I go around saying Grisaia no Kajitsu is my favourite visual novel even having skipped loads of it. (Bad ends and half of Angelic Howl)
  25. You know, I've just remembered that me and my terrible taste decided to skip the last few days of Angelic Howl. I should really read it, sometime.
