  1. I haven't read it yet but I'm willing to bet it's at least better than Boku no Hitori Sensou, because Koiken Otome doesn't sound like a game that takes itself seriously, unlike this one.
  2. I don't even know where to start: it's contrived as hell, it's boring, the themes are completely off, the characters are bad, the main heroine is only somewhat likeable and most of the time is just bad. This game is nothing like G-senjou or even Sharin no Kuni, just look up other reviews for details. Literally the only good thing about the game is the BGM, the only reason I'm not uninstalling it
  3. Boku no Hitori Sensou is complete trash. Welcome though.
  4. It's a game with spectacular presentation, very unfortunate that you weren't able to enjoy it.
  5. Clever of you to pick out one of the most minor points on the list to make the whole set of argumentation look shabby. I'll be sure to give you a taste of your own medicine when you post your opinions, if you ever do. I want my opponent to do all my work for me? No, I want them to use common sense and save me writing an essay. This is just a forum post, after all.
  6. Because everything the majority says is good must be good? Or because it's your point of view? Did not. All I did was say that some of it could be disputed by people like you and that they don't get in the way of the plot directly. I suggest you try re-reading it then. If you still can't find anything, maybe you should replay the game and pay more attention this time. I've stated an opinion. You still haven't. All you've been doing is giving out backhanded jabs while not revealing your cards. Come clean or get out.
  7. Values? Out of 16 items on the list I count at least 8 that have nothing to do with values or common sense which you don't seem to like, pointing out plot holes directly. Want to say something about those? About anything, actually? So far it's pretty clear you have no taste or appreciation for writing, prove me wrong.
  8. I've only read Tayutama among these, but let my vote go to Sakura no Uta. What I've read of Subahibi so far has great writing.
  9. Okay, if you want to play it that way. Say you have a gun, your opponent has a gun, there's someone precious to you by your side (family/lover etc.) and the guy with the gun is about to shoot that person. If you shoot him, that's justifiable homicide. There is a moral side, you just need the courage to face it.
  10. I admit that I went overboard in calling it trash. In fact I didn't go in with any expectations, just dealing with things as I run into them. I insist on calling it actual criticism because my original point was that the writing is bad "and here's why". How ironic that you voted for "writing" in that thread I made a few months ago and now defend a game that relies entirely on plot twists and characters. As for justifiable homicide - say you have a gun, your opponent has a gun, there's nowhere to run and he's about to shoot you. Shooting him would be considered justifiable homicide. Unless you, you know, don't mind dying and stuff.
  11. Nope, I dropped it actually. I realized nothing would save this game for me. Do I need to spell everything out? Easy to shrug off all the criticism with that line isn't it? How about you try to refute something and prove that Himawari isn't trash?
  12. I read everything up to and including Aqua route. Frankly I hate the writing in this game, I have a lot of issues with it, and my opinion of Daigo matches yours. Here's everything I can think of (spoilers, of course)
  13. I feel like you're only looking at western cultures. There's no sign of marriage going away where I live, and I'm sure that's the case in many countries around the globe.
  14. I've no idea why you're assuming marriage is going away. Its importance might be decreasing in places, but it's here to stay, you'll have to come to terms with that.
  15. Look at it another way, are you completely fine with your girl(s) being banged by other men? I wouldn't be.
  16. What are you talking about? He said he's writing a novel (not a visual one) of harukuru, the English tweeter misunderstood him and asked about something else entirely, to which he got the standard "no details" reply - that doesn't mean anything at all.
  17. This thread has made me realize how good my social standing still is.
  18. This question stated in this thread is entirely about your personal perception of the matter. Forget about objectivity. Of course we all care about different aspects of writing, that's kind of why I don't like chuuni writing, despite its popularity.
  19. You read regular books too, right? What is more important to you when you do?
  20. Well you kinda can, I've seen plenty of that. And the question is, which one matters more to you, without any regard for objectivity.
  21. I don't really see a difference, but fixed
  22. Please refer to the updated question, I feel like my intent might have been misunderstood.
